Mappium Map Maker

An amazing app, allows for me to especially map out certain things around the world and very useful for alternate history. My only request is if you make a North America map. With Canada, Alaska, the United States, Cuba, and Mexico. But with this North America map could you make the individual countries have they own state borders in them as well. Thanks

No disrespect to the developer(s), because I understand creating an App/Game isn't the easiest thing in the world.... I'm going to stick to Mapchart for a while due to it having more tools, the advantage this app has is the color wheel. It is beautiful and doesn't require a few minuted of research to find the Hex or BRG, it show you all you options.

Used to be very good, but as of recent, I haven't been able to use colors. Only grayscale colors are available with the brightness slider on top, the color palette of different colors is not appearing. Please fix this glitch ASAP, if you're not able to replicate the issue I would be glad to send some screenshots to your email. Please make the colors work again

Good overall, but could be better. Ideas!: 1. Combine United Kingdom and Ireland into one map and have both islands and Norn Iron be able to disappear. 2. increase possible number of labels. 3. color mixer: I'm doing a mapper wars esque thing with friends, and we need a.way to show occupied territory. So be able to combine the colours to show said war zones. Good app otherwise.

Great idea, but poor execution. Very limited choice of base maps, quite approximate boarders marking and no subdivision of countries into regions and provinces. It would have been much nicer if these features were included. I'd be happy to pay some $ for a simialr app but better implemented.

Really good app! But then you close the app. You come back to it, and then it crashes every time. I've reinstalled this game 3 times and I've only been able to use it.. you guessed it, 3 TIMES! Please make this app better! Edit: This still hasn't been fixed after months.

Very basic, just monotone coloring of countries with a set of given maps. No way to use my own. There is a key function that shows little colored boxes to align to your country names, which is about the most advanced feature. Awful use of ads.

It's very rigid and won't let me work with portions of states and provinces in North America. It's either the entirety of the US or Canada, or only full states/provinces within them. I tried using it to draw maps for an urban fantasy D&D campaign but it's not nearly flexible enough.

Firstly, this is essentially an ad farm disguised as an app. Constant ads on the screen and unskippable ads if you change the map. Secondly, all you can do is color in countries. You're limited to only filling in countries with an entire color as there is no way to use multiple colors per country. All in all, this app is basically mspaint with quite possibly the worst ad experience you will ever experience.

This is truly an amazing app, seeing as only one person is working on it I'm very impressed. The only thing I would say is the feature to show territory advances, and border changes, and more maps. But there is still only one person working on it, so I will be happy with the current maps and features.

Two main problems; 1) I couldn't save it to my gallery because there wasn't an option for that so I went to save to photos. Problem was, no matter how many times I hit upload it said it uploaded but nothing was there. 2) After that failed, I decided to upload directly to Twitter and it was so low res that you couldn't read the words in the key making it essentially useless.

Great app but i have 2 feature ideas that would make it better. If we had an option where we could have more divided countries for example; greenland not part of denmark, french guiana not part of mainland france, etc. Another idea thats kinda similar to the previous one where when on the world map we could change the us states. People who use it to: make maine part of canada or alaska part of canada. If you added this it would be amazing! -A guy who likes fortnite and maps

First off, I love this app alot! I'm a pretty huge Map guy. Secondly, can you please add two features I'm requesting, like a Cold War Era World Map (with its borders of the time) and a up close map of Africa? Thank you. Edit: well good luck with the project! I can't wait for the new updates soon!

The app is great, especially for geography students having lots of map work. But I do have a suggestion: please create a pen feature so that we can mark specific parts of countries or states instead of marking them whole.

I really enjoy it. I do have an idea for another app you could make with similar style to mappium. You could make the solar system and have all of the planets and moons colorable. I would download it for sure!

Very fun app. I was looking for something like this app for a while and I do quite enjoy the simplicity of the map maker and such. Not sure of the possibility, but a custom map maker would be a neat addition (perhaps a premium version of the app as well?) As it stands, thanks so much for this.

its not that good, the world map is really bad and low quality. If you want to make a map about the ocean you end up coluring france. If something is seperated from a country (greenland) let us collur it seprate. I want to make maps but this is the only app i can use

Hello, I hope the devs see this. I really enjoy your map. Its great for making alternate history. But I have some things bugging me. Could you add a map of Japan? And one more thing. Can we please add more to the key? Why is it limited. Unless there is a way to add more. Then, sorry. And could you please tell me? (P.S: I undertand you are the only one working on this app. And that it is free. Which i greatly enjoy. So again, sorry for bugging you with my questions. I know it must be hard work.

This is awesome! It's great for strategic mappers, alternate history enthusiasts, and people that like visual charts. Best of all the maps are downloadable AND there's next to no ads!

great to see that the app is being updated and worked on. I'm fan of the app because I like to just sit and recolor maps for fun but it would be great if you could add a pencil that we can draw with like in ms paint and then color in the borders so I can draw new countries on the map

Well 1st of all it doesn't have an Asia Map and other continents. 2nd is you can only color a certain country you cant color a specific province or state when im editing a contenent. Well its not a junk it is helpful tbh but i really disappointed with its features... Pls update the app and add more continents and provinces while editing a continent. Sorry but this is the least i can give for now.

Love the app, continue making maps for other countries like China, Japan, Australia, but you have to make a map of the United states with all the counties, it will be a task, but its doable.

This is a very great app, I had fun making maps and animating some of them, the developers really did a good job in coding this app though I would like to see a bit more maps and countries but overall a very good app.

It needs more detail and more continents. what mean by detail is make the world map smoother and sharper and not so pixelated. you could add Africa's state's and frances state's and Japan but this is just some ideas you could put in to your app.

This app is very good and the devs had done a great job creating this map but perhaps you can add an map editor of some sort where you can change borders? Either way this app is very easy and fun to use

I think it would be better if you add this feature like you can not consider Greenland, French Guiana, Puerto Rico and some of the pacific islands in the country who owns it (USA, France and Denmark) also to Great Britain or UK it would be better if it is divided cause UK composes of Wales, Scotland, England etc. also why some of territories like Hawaii, Guam, Reunion Island, Curacao, Aruba, Cayman Islands etc. and others in the pacific area are not visible? Btw I'm in love with maps and nations

Good app. One small error is that on the main world map, Fiji is made a part of France and cannot be selected.

Dull app. Just more of a coloring book without innovative features. Can't even offer at least a map for every continent divided.
