Maps CU

It's not particularly user friendly. Most of the questions I have had were not answered by the app. I just call or email to have a live person explain it, or just do what I need done without the app. Also, the photo check deposit thing is completely useless. Never works.

Great and friendly credit union, the app has a major problem, though. The mobile check deposit is simply useless, taking years of my life to magically light up green borders and take a document scan of the check. When I was on First Tech FCU, mobile deposit took a minute, at most. Most of that was typing info or endorsing the check. The "patented" mobile deposit software just needs to be completely overhauled. Clean slate. Redo it. Not good enough for this modern age.

Have been using this app for over two years. At first the mobile deposit feature was frustrating but it seems to work better now. This app has been very convenient for me and that, along with great customer service at my local MAPS, keeps me happy I chose this banking facility.

Like the bank just fine just don't like the app. You could have money in the bank and check your available balance and pending transactions but there have been more than a few times my acct will show I have nothing pend . Pd some bills , went thru . The NEXT day I tried to use my debt and it declined . My acct bal was showing I had X amount of $ avail. I was told that There was a pending charge that was coming thru . 93 $ insuffient funds later. Thinking of closing my acct with them.

All of the important details are at your fingertips. The app is responsive and quick to use.

Every time I attempt to sign in, the site forces me to reset my password. FIX THIS!!

Constantly have to restart my phone to be able to log in, because it won't respond to input. Can't enter password or tap on anything else on the screen. Restarting the phone fixes this. I have to do this roughly 75% of the time. This problem has persisted through multiple updates and two phones. EDIT: In response to your reply, I am, and have been, updated to the current release. As I stated in my original post, this has continued through multiple updates, and still continues to this day.

The mobile deposit feature on this app is almost impossible to use. I just spent 5 minutes tilting my phone fractions of a degree this way and that in the hope that the app would accept the image of my check and proceed to allow me to deposit it. After spending that much time on just the front image, my wife offered to try with her iPhone using the iOS version of the app. It took less than a second to record each side of the check. Switch your image processing engine to something better!

Easy to use great App. *EDIT* Why am I getting System Errors and to contact support on Presidents day. I know Maps is closed on Presidents Day does that mean the app is closed as well? Seems kind of silly that it would be in that state on Presidents Day.

The Maps app is pretty straightforward for checking your balance, making account transfers and outside transfers! You can also message the bank and someone always responds! You can also sign up for text notifications on daily balances, greater amount, when a deposit to your acct is made. I love the simplicity of it!

It's a great tool so you don't have to be back and forth between the bank to find certain things out or call it's very nicely laid out great attention to detail

One of the few apps that I have ZERO PROBLEMS with. Has worked flawlessly every time I've used it since downloading it the first (and only) time. If you have issues with this app, you either don't keep it updated or you have BIGGER problems going on within your devices you might want to look into.

Hardly works. It will just stay on the loading screen whenever you need to access your banking information.

Great for the most part. Have noticed some lagging lately. Other than that, very useful.

It's a good app, for like the year, 2010 maybe? Effective, but it certainly has some catch up to do.

Just been using for a little bit. But user friendly. And easy to navigate.

The app has charges that disapear from the list so you think that your balance is correct... then the charge returns and the total is deducted from your balance leaving you short on however much you thought was in your bank account. It seems odd to explain, but if it happens to you, youll see what im saying.

Worst banking app out there. Transactions show up then disappear and your balance is never accurate. It feels like they are just trying to get you to overdraft your account on a consistent basis. If you bank at maps make sure you pay attention to every single transaction and dollar in your account.

Mobile deposit crashes when attempting to take a picture of the check. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no success on two phones, Note 3 and a Note 4 phones. Other wise I've had no issues with the app.

Having this app makes all my banking so much more convenient. I really like it. April 6th 2021 I don't really know about that part of using this app. (About loans, credit scores) But I do know that I Really Like Maps Credit Union. They R very helpful and patient with any problem or questions I have & I'd recommend them to my friends & family with high praise 🙌 I wouldn't rather have any other bank as my bank.. The app is great for everything I need. I try my fingerprint sign in and it always takes 3x vs my phone doing it the 1st time. That's a good security tactic I imagine. I don't mind, just concerned me that I wouldn't be able to log in. Thats it really. I havent' run into a problem yet.

And the online site is not very good any more. Can't do all the needed changes to payees any longer or if you can it's hard to find. Not happy! Been with Maps for a very long time but thinking of moving.

Just downloaded. Was hoping to see statement of transactions; or at least the last 5. Still trying to navigate through it. I did try to register for text banking and after putting in my acct. # and info it told me it couldnt verify the information (?) It was all correct.. So i dont know. I guess i should just stick with what ive been doing and drive to do banking. Bummer

Maps is a great credit union but anyone who gives this app 5 stars is a liar or hasnt had the app long enough. It has issues with not letting you log in. Your transaction consistently appear then dissappear giving you wrong totals in your account. You have to watch this app like a hawk when it actually let's you connect. I will always recommend Maps to people but let's not kid ourselves about the actuall app.

It works fast , and it shows all of my transactions. So I can clarify what I spend on.

For a mobile banking app, it does the job. Its easy to use/navigate. Its got all good things like bill pay, tranfers, mobile deposits, & a little budgeting tool. Overall, i think its a good app.
