Margaret River and Surrounds Find the Fun
NO INTERNET IS NEEDED to use this guide. All content and maps work without using an internet connection. This is very important because as you move around in the region you'll go through many places with no internet coverage.
The App has beautiful photographs and all information is clearly described and pin-pointed on the built-in maps so you can easily find your way around. Full maps of cycling and hiking tracks are also provided. The maps are very high resolution and work without data roaming, WiFi connection, and internet. So the App is fast and won't cost you money. And mobile coverage black spots will not stop the App from working! Turn on your phone or tablet GPS from within the App and you will never get lost again finding all the fun places in the Margaret River region.
The Margaret River region is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Western Australia.

Basically just an informative website that allows you to bookmark favourite pages and locations. It should have an itinerary and map planner. I also don't think you can bookmark restaurants and toilet stops. Whilst the data is informative, it's not actually any better than using googlemap. They should just publish the data in googlemap & recommend itineraries instead. At least google map has reviews. Also, only available in English which is great for locals but doesn't help tourists.
A great app for finding points of interest in the South West region of WA. The offline map is a brilliant feature allowing you to know exactly where you are when there is no mobile signal coverage. Just one request to the developer - please add fishing spots.
Great resource for our upcoming trip based in Margaret River. Would be fabulous if I could set location to MR (seemed to default to Busselton) to get distances from our point of reference (or did I miss this setting?).

Great app to find your way around Margs especially if you've never been. Highly suggest this app to anyone heading down south it has everything and will keep you entertained for days!
Brilliant app, lifesaver when stuck in MR at the start of the CV crisis, found great walks with it as everything had shut down on.

Downloaded it for the mtb part after we couldn't find some tracks. Maps are very good, accurate info. Haven't even started looking at all the other parts of it. Worth the free download.

Awesome for biking, beers and surf
We walked a three day section of the Cape to Cape this summer (2016) Mostly the track is well trodden and easy to follow, but some spots were not clear at all. We checked in with 'Find the Fun' and found the app to be an excellent resource for solving our problems. Fantastic to be able to pull up a comprehensive map on the phone, not have to worry about internet access and not need to carry a paper map. There-s a ton of info on the app and great photos too. Thanks!
Love it for mountain & road biking with offline maps & GPS so I don't get lost. Also great for touristy stuff like breweries & vineyards. It's a no-brainer... anyone visiting the south west should... no, MUST... have this app.
Efficient planning tool
You can depend on this App to get you out of a tight spot! We went mountain biking on the Carters South MTB area late one afternoon and found ourselves temporarily disoriented amongst a maze of intersecting tracks in this heavily forested area...and daylight was disappearing rapidly. We used this very accurate App to safely navigate back to the car and avoided an impromptu overnight camp. Much gratitude for the App designers!

Most impressed with the comprehensive, stimulating, quick information. There is no need to go to the tourist info bay, all you need for a touring time of fun in Margaret River /Busselton /Dunsborough is in your hand. We have used the maps with great success, no internet connection needed and it is so quick. On the Cape to Cape walk or riding to Cowaramup via Jindong your position is tracked on your phone. I'm a big fan of this app..... each region should have one!
It starts with a very useful overview and easily arranges the various categories of information for what I wanted. I like the map style and that it works off-line, which is very suitable for an Aussie country area. I installed it in Dunsborough and it started working for me immediately based on that location, so no setting up needed. And still loving the app in 2021!
