I can honestly say without any sarcasm that I've been spending more time watching adds than playing the actual game, watch adds to get more gold after a fight, watch adds to get more rewards when you validate a success, watch adds randomly when losing, watch adds randomly when switching menu, well you get the point, and thats sad because the game could be really good without that, ofc you can to disable them, but 8€, I mean come on man

Beautiful, hilarious, well-researched graphics, but the game is unplayable, at least on my Samsung Galaxy S5, due to poor controls. 9 times out of 10, I can clearly see X's appear in places other than where my finger taps the screen, 0.5- 1.5cm away on the fight wheel. This isn't a personal accuracy issue. There is also a noticeable time delay. Too bad since the game is clearly a labour of love and I'd be looking forward to seeing more of it... But, can't advance.

I've been really enjoying the game so far, the medieval painting aesthetic has been nailed perfectly, and the gameplay is fun and challenging. Sadly, I'm very dissapointed that there isn't a better bestiary; the reason I, and probably many others, was attracted to this game is the weird medieval creatures, so the lack of information in them seems contradictory. Maybe a full description is too much, but just including the name of the creature or where the original drawing came from would be great

The art is fantastic, that's true. But the game is getting more challenging with time and with time you get more adds as well. So you fail more and with the same time see more adds. That's annoys a lot. And at some point of neverending level retries and non-stop advertising you start to hate it. My congratulations dear developers. You've found a perfect formula on how to force your gamers to quit. I've deleted the app and have no intention to ever check it again.

As someone who loves medieval history, art and music, as well as simplistic but engaging mobile gameplay, I obviously find this game perfect. Original, very well made and fun. One minor thing I would suggest is some kind of additional prompt when purchasing items, just so I don't accidentally spend all my money on something I have absolutely no use for. I also feel like the shop could be a little easier to browse, maybe with a grid view and some more noticeable indicators of stats and effects.

Puts the marginal in gaming. The good ideas stop at the art choice. Everything beyond that is a waste. One miss and you die. And you don't get extra swings. So one mistake and you die. And the timing is away from the picture, so you're not even looking at the art. Just art of a circle. Terrible. Two stars given were for art and music. Would have given more if there was more than just a sound loop.

Its certainly interesting, with a unique and engaging core mechanic BUT the controls are just too finicky and unforgiving to be fun. let your finger rest a blink too long on the screen and you lose the level, which is annoying when you are dealing with an enemy that requires more than thirty precise hits on moving targets to defeat. i think there is a great game here, but its only about 85% of the way there. I hope the developer keeps working because when the game worked it was a blast.

Very difficult, ultimately not a game for me as it's something I can't play; but I sure wish it was! The presentation is hilarious! Love the concept and graphics! My only complaint is the lazer focus in the gameplay takes away from the atmosphere, so you can watch the player beat up the snails :(. I cant imagine how much is missed in later chapters, I'm stuck on the boss hawk. Really would love to see another game of this style with different gameplay!

I like the game! Interesting concept, good execution, and other things factor in to make it a good game, like a reasonable ad system. Unfortunatly, there is a bug that causes me to be blocked out of the game if I use a rewarded ad. Upon being blocked out, I then have to exit the game entirely amd reopen it, only to discover I didn't even recieve the rewards I had earned in the boss fight. This is mildly infuriating. Please Fix.

The aesthetics are indeed nice, but the way the gameplay is set casts them to the side to the point were they almost become redundant. By that I mean that the main point of interest from an aesthetic and narrative perspective is different from were the gameplay pushes one to focus. So for the most part the artwork and everything that conveys (atmosphere, story etc) almost goes away or pass unnoticed, or you lose (at least that's what happened to me).

This is really more of a twitch game than an RPG. It's like FF Tactics except there's only one tactic - bash. :) Amazingly, it manages to provide some interest despite the monotony. But the game mechanic requires you to look away from the medieval artwork which should be front and center. It's very odd. Glad I tried it, but ready to move on.

I love the concept and visual style, but the gameplay is really arbitrary, gets extremely difficult very quickly and, most importantly, requires 100% focus on the circle & dots, making the player unable to look at and enjoy the cool and funny medieval graphics. This was a deal breaker for me. I wish the game had the same look but different gameplay, even if it was just clicking on the opponent like crazy.

Very cool. Different. Good for keeping my hands busy when I am fidgety. Which is always. The graphics are really unique and well done - they really do seem to fit the theme/time period (middle ages, renaissance ?) I noticed that because I am really good at rock band that I seen to have an edge. Only thing I could ask for is some kind of free-play mode where the strike timing is derived from the beat of my own music. Would be cool. Well done! And weird!👍😅🗡

Fun but a little dull. This game does have nice graphics and it's premise is reasonable. However it can get old quick. The aim of the game is to hit targets by clicking while a sword is spinning around a circle. This is... Fine. And it tests skill. But it is a touch repetitive. Over all not bad and I do love the graphics.

I like this game, with that in mind. Pros: The artwork and music represent Medieval times well and the gameplay works well enough with a plus that if you fail a tap you can restart instantly. Plus, as far as I am. it doesn't seem like a Paywall of doom and effort was put in. Cons: If you dislike tapping a lot with accuracy; YOU WILL GET OBLITERATED. Ads are everywhere (But only holds when trying to do 2X rewards and other beneficial effects) and Gold can get a bit tedious to build up.

Love the art, and the simple game mechanic is addicting, but as you progress its easier to fail, and failing creates forced ads. Im happy to watch ads voluntarily for a benefit, but being forced to watch an ad to play again is simply overestimating the allure of this game. When the ad is longer than a failed attempt, you should remove the forced ads or add more content to justify their worth. Goodluck, im uninstalling until then. 2 stars for beatiful art.

I love the art and the music and even the gameplay, frustrating as it can be, is fun. I had originally given this game 3 stars, but with the recent update it has definitely earned 5! A big part of that is due to adding a level select with images of the beasts you've vanquished, being able to see an item's info before buying (Duncan...), and the new brave quests.

A. G. u. Sep 28, 2019

The art style is interesting, but the game gets insanely hard really fast so that you couldn't beat it without paying. You can get by with getting continues and additional goodies for watching ads, but 9 times out of 10 the ad wouldn't show, and it's on you, it doesn't count if you've clicked Watch Ad and it just didn't load.

Basically you have a sword that circulates on the edges of a big circle. You have to tap when the sword meets a target. Thats it. In a market of braindead games, this one is very dumb. 1 star for unfair description. It is not an rpg, not everything with a "character" and a "shop" is role playing. Its an arcade game and a very boring one. The animations are atrocious, as simple as possible. The design is the key unique feature, since yeah, i downloaded it for the medieval text book graphics.

Love the illustrations, but this game is super frustrating. it's not just that it gets difficult pretty quickly; the part that drove me nuts is that the whole game is hitting targets at different points on a circle, which start disappearing and moving fast a few levels in, and if you're holding your phone in your hand, you can miss several as they get covered by your thumb.

Great concept and design! As others wrote, it becomes a game of speed (fast screen touch). It would be great if we could appreciate more the battles, the enemies and the mood. Also, the coin rewarding seems weird: many times I should receive coins, but I didn't.

The theme and the core gameplay is great! It's a real entertaining game for pastime, and the ads don't heavily interfere with the game. The only thing I'd have to say that would need improvement on is the sfx when hitting the targets, which I would've liked to sound more satisfying to hit.

The visuals are nice but the combat isn't. It feels more like an experiment, a project, than an actual finished game. I would like to see the developer expand and build upon the concept but with more traditional combat mechanics. If this was an actual rpg game, with decent story and satisfying combat i probably would've been hooked.
