Marilyn Style Pop Art Image

This effect is inspired by the famous silkscreen paintings by American pop artist Andy Warhol.
After Marilyn Monroe’s death, Pop Art founder Andy Warhol (1923 – 1987) spent four months making silkscreens based on a publicity still of Monroe from her film, “Niagara.” Fusing art with mass production, Warhol created brilliantly colored multiples of her image. Fascinated by morbid subjects and celebrity, he symbolized Monroe’s mortality, and her media saturation through brash, assembly-line reproductions of her face.

Features include:

Great simple easy to use app!!! You can get some great images from your random photos, without messing around for hours or having a degree in graphic art. It does what it says on the tin, and does it well.

very limited functionality - basic pop art filter. It doesn't actually look like Warhol - don't waste your time

It's great to create an Andy Warhol style Pop Art grid (Warholizer). And, to be able to roll the dice for random color mixes in his color palettes. But I couldn't figure out how to delete or clear a created work. Seemed the only options were to Save or Share generated grids. App needs an easy to find & well labelled Clear or Start Over option.
