Marine Tracker - Maritime traffic - Ship radar

One of the least useful AIS apps. Tiny map, cumbersome "data" pop-ups, old positions. The free version is basically worthless. Maybe the paid version is better, but based on what I see with the free version, I'd not be inclined to give it a try.

Works ok for what I want. My only criticism is the lack of ship detail on satellite AIS. Some info would be nice. As do not want to pay for the full satellite information option. As only a casual user, only really look for friends boats, use it once or twice a week, or when on the move.

tiny map! poor design.. Minuses-- half the screen is taken up by a vessel info panel that i have NOT selected and have no interest in. i can find no way to close that panel. Another 15 % is devoted to a language selection panel that won't go away. the map area is so small as to be pretty much useless except when zoomed way in. Pluses- it does work and seems to be reasonably accurate.

The app seems a bit slow and jerky, although the ads run smoothly, and load seamlessly. I was using the app while connected to wifi, and finally gave up any hope of finding my tug. I see no reason to keep it installed.

Since last update. App stinks. Two step start for map now. Beware, this app allows "Ad Choices" to pop up ads. It didn't do that in the last version. The app went from five star to one star in one update and I'm deleting the app and recommend you don't use it unless you like ads.

Very general app, Information is poorly updated unless you subscribe to the "full Version" see big $$$$$$$ annual fee.. Note all these 'ship tracker/finder apps all use the same source of data.. So dont expect anything different with other apps.. Big plus for Marine tracker is low incidence of advertising compared to other identical apps.. Good for casual Boat Spotting.. It is prob not the App developers at fault for the poor updates as they have no control over the info they receive..

Since the latest update (1st Jan 2020) this app no longer works in landscape on my Samsung tablet. Also why is there no option to hide the information panel on the left of the screen? Most infuriating to only see half of the map, and seems even worse in portrait.

This app is a scam, to get rid of ads and to enable the extra features they will charge you €1188.00 in one go!!! Other than that, the app is confusing and it doesn't seem to work very well.

This app seems to work just fine for my needs in my little portion of the world. But, once choosing a language, which I'll do once only in my lifetime, the language selection remains on screen taking up usable space.

App seems to work well, but I can't get rid of the "Select your language" panel near the bottom of the screen - even after selecting a language! Together with the gaming advert, this takes up nearly 30% of my phone's screen.

I really enjoy using it to follow a cruise ship I recently saw in Funchal. I've had no issues. It works well. I would like more info on the ships, but don't use it enough to warrant the expense of the add ons. If there were cheaper options that would be great.

Invested with ads and complicated to use. UI not intuitive. Must go through a labyrinth of menus to find the essential things with ads at every corner.

Couldn't even get a single ships position before it started playing video ads. If you people want me to pay for your service, you must first PROVE your worth it. All you did with your ads is annoy me , so l will delete you. Ps I've no idea what the ad was, so the advertiser has wasted their money. At least I didn't waste mine

This could be certainly better. Not able to display the vessel's movements and the display is too small. Findship was better and easier to work with.

Neat app! I'm a retiree living in coastal Rhode Island. I frequently see freighters, oilers, and fishing boats in Narragansett Bay, and off shore around Block Island. It's interesting to find out a little something about what's out there. While not blazingly fast running on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, I'm in no particular hurry, so all's fine with Marine Tracker. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

After recent update the app loads glacially and often freezes. When it does work the screen in free mode is so small that it's almost unusable. Not recommend in free mode at least.

Fantastic app if you like loud and annoying adds at the start and that have tiny exits somewhere in the corner! Far too slow to open. See you next time!

Great app but one quick comment, the select your language box is permanently at the bottom of the screen taking up @20% when in portrait and @35% when in landscape (the same amount as the map itself) . Would have thought that area could be better utilised.

easy to use, informative and keeps your interest. the option to use nav charts with soundings very useful. I have not used anything like all its capability but it's great.

Destroyed by adds, you can't even get rid of after they time out! Tried to remove this app, but it won't move into the remove box, so now uninstalling it from play store, what a pile of sh..

We have lived on the shore for 21 years and now with Marine Tracker it's like we just moved here.Ships have taken on a whole new interest .The world of shipping has taken on a whole new interest. Everthing from crabbers coming home to super large container ships to CG and navy .Thank you for making living on the water so very interesting again.

Can be useful at times. Not certain that Class B yacht AIS can be tracked by satellite as it's only a 2W signal. Has a lot of info that other apps do not show.
