- request method : direct download (SailGrib, Great Circle, MeteoConsult, GMN) or email (Great Circle and SailDocs)
- grid resolution: from very high resolution to 2.5°
- time step between forecasts :from 1 hour to 12 hours depending on models
- number of days for the forecast: from 1 to 14 depending on model
- maximum file size. SailGrib estimates the size of the grib file you request and adjust the grid resolution and the time step to make sure your file will size be lower than your set limit.With SailGrib, you can view the following data:
- Windbarbs
- Isobars
- Precipitation maps
- Cloud cover maps
- Temperature maps
- Waves maps and arrows
- CAPE map

great set of apps, would just wish sailgribWR, AA and sailgrib would share the same settings for offline charts etc

easy to use.
Great app to help comprehend the grib files. But this app could be improved with a simple manual input of a position, course and speed. I can then view the expected wx as the estimated position progresses along this course every 3 hours. I use a win gribview program that does this. A vast improvement over the competition if this feature could be added for android. You directed me to Sailgrib WR, no that won't do it. This request is for a SailGrib viewer enhancement. Can it be done for android?

Pretty much perfect :-) model/source selection could be somehow clarified (showing zone and nature of contained information, like a catalog?)

Handy tool , weather prediction can be a fickle thing , these guys get it right most times.
Can thrust it
This meteorological application is very useful but it would include more information about forescasting of snow, moon age and phase, sunrise and sunset data. Some cities are not supported for tide information, I live in Cancún, and it is needed to know more about tides on local beaches. UV index would be also include. In summary this app is very useful but it will cover more meteorology information.
I use GRIB data when going offshore between Annapolis, MD and points south, like Florida and the app is very useful for this purpose. One glitch is that sometimes, half a state size sections of the chart disappears and one cannot see the shore lines, not confidence inspiring. What if the app lost the GRIB data when you are two days offshore?
Great for sailing. It has been my main source of weather info over the last two years while I was sailing the Caribbean and East Coast.
Love the fact that the forecast is available when I'm out of cell or WiFi coverage. On the passage across the Gulf of Maine it was quite accurate too.
Easy to use and simple to understand, had some problems downloading grab files but these disappeared when I used the alternative method provided.
Probably the best weather forecasting tool I've come across in years.of sailing. I will recommend it to all who require forecasting at sea.

Just simple and good information required for sailors
Very effective particually when used with sailgribs own routing software. Use this to select grib zone you need. Very helpful support staff. Highly recomend
