Mario and friends go global in this new Mario Kart as they race around courses inspired by real-world cities in addition to classic Mario Kart courses! These destinations will be featured in tours that rotate every two weeks! In addition to courses based on iconic locales, some of your favorite Mario Kart characters will get variations that incorporate the local flavor of cities featured in the game!

This is a fantastic mobile Mario Kart game and I would love to give it 5 stars except the multiplayer experience is so laggy and buggy that it's horrible. Nintendo clearly can't write net code to save their life. But for the single player experience, it is amazing with tons of variety and a constant stream of new content from courses to drivers to karts.
It's a great gacha racing game, but it has some problems. First the multiplayer may need to have some sort of system imo. Second and lastly, the gold membership does not feel worth it. There should be more than just getting 1/4 extra items in the tour gifts, a different multiplayer mode, and an extra set of challenges. Overall great game, highly recommended.
I love Nintendo and their IP's, and Mario Kart is no different. I love the racing aspect and the items are fun and enjoyable. The only thing I don't really like is the controls. The controls are fine, they do the job, but they don't feel very good compared to any console Mario kart. Please improve the controls responsiveness and drifting abilities. Then and only then will I be inclined to lift this to 5 stars. Thank you :)
I don't know what it is, maybe it is the huge roster of riders, (most of them are not technically unique tho) the new takes on old maps, the quick races, or the item system, but I absolutely adore this game. There is always something to do, something to work towards, and fun to be had. And every race has a possibility of an upset. Love this game, wish I had tried it out sooner.
The game is exactly what you'd expect from a Mario kart phone game, and still give you a sense that you're playing MK, my only complaint is those damn challenge sticker updates when you open the game, it's so annoying to have to sit through unlocking all these challenge things that you didn't even intend to do, and there's no way to skip. Very annoying but as far as gameplay, pretty good.
Beautiful graphics!! I love the idea of bringing Mario Kart to go everywhere. The music the nostalgia and everything In between. But the game does have alot of faults, online can be better, the items you get from ticket item box gives you bananas and coins (how em I supposed to win if all I can get is a banana), the bots or cpu you race can somehow be faster when they drift, LITERALLY they zoom pass you and aren't all cars supposed to be the same speed? The pipe items are always the same, LAME.
I really love this game, but there is a main issue. Why is it 4.99 per month for the gold pass? Thats more than Nintendo Switch online! I would buy the gold pass if it was $10 one time. This game does almost everything else right. Also, for everyone saying it won't come, multiplayer is coming soon. Controls take a while to learn but aren't bad. Also, there is no fuel bar (cough asphalt 9 and almost every other mobile racer).
The idea of playing Mario kart on your phone is something that we all wanted for a few years and we partially got that. The graphics are decent, if not a bit flat, but still better than MK7. The controls are stiff and dragging your finger across the screen isn't really the best experience. The forced in-app purchases and subpar gameplay made me lose interest in the game overtime, and with the new MK8 Booster Course Pass DLC on Switch, I have little to no incentive to play this game anymore.
One of worst titles available from a major publisher. 500 words is not enough to explain the reasons. - Expensive microtransactions - Dastardly subscription fee blocking content - 0 focus on actual racing - Levels repeated constantly - Winning is based on points, which of course require new paid spelunking trips constantly, as only new characters and items are favored each week. Pros You dont even have to look at your screen and you can easily get 1st place every race. Confidence booster.
This game is fine, could be better though, a lot of small bonuses are locked behind the Gold Pass but that's fine, I'd probably buy it if it were like NSO, which is $20 yearly. The controls are not the best, but you can customize how you want some stuff to play out, then you'll get used to it. Let's face it though, the point requirements for five stars are way too hard, haha. Try this game if you want, it's not the best but it's a nice timekiller, you get tons of rewards for random stuff.
This game is incredible except, however its price and playability. This game can run you upwards of $200 for a single character. It is insane what Nintendo is charging. The Gold Pass subscription is more than 3 times the price of what a Nintendo Switch Online service is for a full year. The lack of a time trial mode and proper multi-player mode really showcases how little there is to like about this game. Not even slightly worth it. To make matters worse the controls are still terrible.
Bugs, crashes, errors, and absurd costs for cosmetics. I am a lifetime long Nintendo fan and I am somewhat disappointed in this game. I recently downloaded to try it out and as a new player I found it incredibly difficult to win multiplayer races, it doesn't match you by skill or level so you are constantly facing A-rank and above players, you have to finish 3rd or better to get any points which has also been difficult. This game just seems like a money grab, only plus side is no intrusive adds
This is an amazing game!! The racecourses are filled with colour and funky music, and it's so fun doing challenges and pipes! Highly recommended! Although it is quite glitchy, please fix this problem. I always slow down at the beginning of the race while everyone else are charging ahead of me. Please stop.
I like it as the game it is. However, it has many bugs. Many problems. Very often the game crashes and refuses to open in the last day of each ranked cup, plus crashing in the middle of a race when I have less than 15% battery (which, for my phone, is more than enough for 7 races). Being hit when I have items to protect me, not being able to hit other drivers without protection.. MANY bugs!
I like the game, but after having experienced the game on both Google pixel 5 and iPad mini, the Google pixel 5 has worse handling. I've discovered that when the display is running at 90Hz, there's a bug that causes the drifting sensitivity to decrease. Please fix this bug, I don't want to have to force my display to run at 60Hz every time I play.
It needs improvement with a lot of things, specifically the extremely steep cost of stuff, but if you play the game casually it can be a lot of fun. Take breaks early and often and you can avoid a good amount of the frustration the game can give. Also be aware that this isn't really a mario kart game in terms of how you play it, it's fun but very different.
It's still new, but it runs quite well, drifting is definitely a lot different from the main games but once you get used to it it's quite easy(assuming you were good at drifting in the main games) it's a bit laggy but I understand that it's new and that it will be improved upon. 2.5yr update:Game still runs rather well, though I will say all the assets have a negative effect on framerate and running speed. This game is still very heavily gacha and ptw but it's still much more manageable thanFEH
Great game and long time Nintendo fan. Love the selection of characters and working to unlock them along with karts and gliders. But big issue has risen recently where I can't even start the game. The loading screen lasts like 40mins but still won't load and it keeps crashing on open. Haven't been able to play for several days.
Fav game, makes me very nostalgic. *Edit* I'm on a new phone. I am not sure why my primary email wouldn't have been for my account given its tied to my paying for a subscription, & that's the e-mail I use for the app store. But I'm not getting the e-mail to change password; I can't figure it out. I'm over level 100 & do not want to restart. Please help 😃
A pretty good game that gets 1★ for being faithful to my childhood experience with Mario Kart, 1★ for the cool graphics that don't need a high-end device to run correctly, 1★ for the nice soundtrack, 1★ for being absolutely completely free, but a game that looses 1★ for its atrocious controls. Seriously, you could've done far better than that
