MARTA On the Go

Trip planner doesn't work. It leads to google maps. Google maps says that the train should show up, but the train services are closed. Google is wrong and the app is wrong because of that.

I don't have trouble navigating the trains with this app. It helps me know when they arrive, which one to take, and lets me know my breezecard balance. It even has a map of the whole train system. The choices for finding out about bus schedules and times is few. sure, you have the number and title, but I would like to se more ways to display that info.

Disappointing. Crashes frequently. The real time bus feature is unreliable. Bus icons disappear and reappear, seemingly at random. The published bus schedules are a fiction, as buses frequently fail to show up, with no explanations via Twitter or the MARTA website. To make matters worse, Marta WiFi is similarly unreliable and requires a login/approval on every use. No thanks! Use Google Maps instead of the MARTA app, it's much more reliable and displays more accurate bus schedules.

Best app to look at on the road to keep up with different buses before the next stop

If they decided to add the Schedule times for both trains and busses rather than if they're going East to west it would be better and more informative than saying East to west. :_

Buses not show on map and dissappeae and reappear. App has alot of bugs. Needs to be totally redone. Also GPS not maintaimed on buses so dont show on map. Marta keeps saying will take care of but does nothing

Too many bugs I cant look at any information. Times out a lot and crashes, so it is extremely unreliable at times. Some of the buses are not connected to this app. Train times are off and sometimes will not pop up unless the train is 2-5 min from the station. If I could rate this app a quarter of a star, I would. Saddest excuse for an official.

This app promises so much and delivers so little. The "real-time bus locator" does not work. Sometimes no buses will show on routes; other times it is so inaccurate that it is useless or even harmful messing up your schedule. The "next train locator" is much better but not available some of the time. I've sent emails to MARTA on this and they give a canned response or none at all.

The next train arrival feature hardly works and the app keeps on freezing. the next arrival info is also not accurate and the data is highly accurate. can't rely on the app for theschedul. Most of the feature don't give accurate info and makes the app highly unreliable and waste. Marta need to fix this app as lot of people rely on this.

Lately when I try to locate my bus thru Real-Time, it doesn't work. The app keeps crashing. It's very important for me to be able to access Real-Time in the app, so I can see where my bus is so I'm not late to work. It's extremely aggravating for this not to be working!

have used the app 15 times since installing it 28 hrs ago. it has frozen, stopped responding, or closed 10 times. in addition, therr is no option to teturn to the home screen. when it works, it's a great app, but it's only worked 1/3 of the time I've used it. please hire a better app design/ development team, marta.

App doesn't show "Next Train Arrivals" if you access it from your saved "Favorite Routes" list. You have to view it from the "Rail Schedules" list instead and sometimes the buses do not appear on the "Real-Time" Map especially if the bus is running late or off schedule.

Terrible and Inaccurate. Actual arrival times and scheduled train times hardly ever match, most times the app doesn't even show all the trains arriving. You'd be better off showing up to the station over an hour early and hoping for the best. Marta needs to do better.

This goes more for the company than just the app but the buses periodically skip their schedule (which shouldn't be happening) & this app should say least do a better job of reflecting that.. I am a student and I got out early around 8am to take the 8:25 bus, but it never came, I have been waiting outside in freezing 44° weather for 1 hour, for the next one which is supposed to come at 9am. Please do better.

I think the app needs to show ALL active real time buses that are in route and not just two when there are more than just two buses on the go. I've missed several buses because of this, it'll say there's a bus running late then there's another bus that just magically appear on the app and by the time I try to get to the bus stop in time, the bus that magically appeared is flying past by like a bat out of hell. I didn't know the buses could go that fast. I'm missing time at work because I have to wait for the next one to come by. I would really appreciate a better working app that gave us ALL the buses, that are in route going to and from the train station, REAL time.

My dog could do better. Me with my eyes could do better. The trains are the best. You are there, and they don't mess around. Between the app and the busses, seriously, why isn't Marta asking for community help to make it a transportation web that is helpful, instead of leaning on the busses? Sadly more like to frustrate than help. Needs redesign to be more helpful with less clicks and less crashing. Needs to know nearest marta station and show next arrivals by default. Show easy acces to that station schedule too.

I've decided to write a review since something always happens on my commute to/from wk/hm/schl that should be notified in this app but for whatever reason is not. For example, how my bus, the 867, has been MIA after 9:15pm these past few weeks and the app says nothing. Or how this elevator at West Lake randomly doesn't work for whatever reason and the app says nothing. Or how route 58 times changed and guess what? The app said nothing! How can I use this app to plan a commute without RTupdates?

For some unknown reason, this app refuses to show the next train arriving for southbound on thr Red line. It shows northbound, but not southbound. Weird, eh? Nor is there any notification explaining the error. Irritating, very.

It's 2019. There is no reason to have an app this buggy and useless in this day and age. A team of high schoolers scraping web data could probably write a more stable app than this one. I know that money is tight with mass transit but this is a customer facing tool and MARTA should consider authorizing a completely rewritten app, or at least provide APIs to their data for others to do it for them.
