Martian Notifier

I've got Martian Notifier and boy what a hell I'm going through. The Bluetooth disappears/disconnect 2-3 after connecting. I've uninstall and reinstall the app severally but still the same. I've set my Huawei P8 Lite and the Martian Notifier both on factory settings but still finding it difficult for the Bluetooth to stay on. I'm giving 1 star cos I'm being generous. I was lookin for a negative 5 stars to give as an aggrieved customer of Martian Notifier. Hope somebody will help me here.

Love the watch and app. Works as advertised. Very comfortable to wear and looks good. Been using it for about two months now with no issues. Lets me know whats going on without reaching for my phone all the time, or dragging it around the house with me. Bought the watch at a discounted price. Wish it had mineral glass lense, as acrylic lense is prone to scratching a lot easier.

I love the watch (mostly the price) and the app is well done, but doesn't offer anything fantastic. My biggest complaint is that there will always be a notification on the lock screen and up on the notification bar. I would also like it if the watch displayed the date before the battery level on the watch's menu.

I haven't had any issues so far with the watch or the app, even when paired with multiple devices (watch and car, or watch and headset). A tip for anyone else who is bothered by this and on 5.0 or above, block notifications in "App notifications" and it goes away, but the app will still forward alerts to the watch if granted "Notification access."

Only thing that would make this better is if you could change the order of the things that show up when you push the button. Like I'd much prefer Time-Date-Weather-Battery, that's the order of importance for me, don't like having to wait for the battery notification to go away to check the date.

Ioved the notifier watch a lot. It's a great innovation. But since, maximum times I get sms and other messages in hindi (which is not displayed by Martian Notifier) so it would be too kind of you if you add hindi language to its notifications also. Problem faced by me is that even if the Martian Notifier app continues to run in background in my android 5 smartphone , many a times I don't get notifications for Incoming Calls & sms, rest all apps gives real time notifications,request help.

Worked well before but since latest Android update it keeps repeating the same damn alerts, over and over again. I checked and I have the latest firmware on the watch and even uninstalled the Notifier app on my phone and installed it fresh but does the same thing, repeating the same alerts over and over again. It's so annoying I just turned off the watch, it's now just a watch that tells time. Hopefully they push out an update or firmware update to fix it because I might ditch this thing.

i love the watch it is what i need, but there should be more features in the app such as: silencing a specific group on whatsapp. sometimes notifications are repeated. when i open the app where notifications come from, i keep getting notifications on watch. android music control could be really nice too

I had no trouble with it. I wanted something a little different and inconspicuous than wearing the Galaxy smart watches which are still my primary wrist wear. I like the functionality and it's exactly what I wanted. More low key but very stylish and I don't have to answer all the questions about my Galaxy. This wrist wear is not as busy as the others which I like.

This app works properly with the Martian Notifier watch, but its features and UI design are both poor. Many of the included features are of little utility, and several obvious (to me) features are absent. Add a useless, persistent notification tray icon, and you have an app that technically works as advertised, but is not very useful. And Martian apparently does not offer any kind of API access for independent programmers to fix these issues. I'm glad the watch only cost me $20.

I absolutely love my Martian Notifier watch, but let's be honest, this app is not very great. It's a bit buggy. For instance, the developers didn't properly implement wakelocks, since the app will immediately lock your phone and turn the screen off when it loses connection with the watch, no matter what you're doing with your phone at the time. If you shut the watch down before disconnecting your watch the phone's screen is locked. If you take your phone too far away from your watch, the screen locks. It's not impossible to work around, but it is really annoying. I wish they would update this app to fix this issue.

Love the "leach" feature, stops me from leaving phone behind. Had great experience with 1st watch, so I ordered another one in a different color. 2nd watch vibration feature doesn't adjust from weak to strong. Stays at medium.

Moto X OS 5.1 did find that I had too many older Bluetooth devices on phone. Read that if more than 3 can cause connection bugs. forget all, connect watch 1st then your other Bluetooth devices. All good!

I tried for two days to get the app to connect to my watch and was never successful. I put in a ticket to Martian but am considering returning the watch.

Ok app. One thing I found annoying is the timezones don't actually include all timezones. I would like Mumbai but not actually on there and it doesn't look like anything else in the same zone is there.

Have dropped my review to 3 stars due to having issues with disconnecting with the tap glass feature to recall previous messages. This appears to happen once the battery gets below a certain level. A full charge seems to fix it

Watch getting disconnected to app for every 15 mins even though my mobile is with in the range.... Each and every time I have to open the app and connect...really frustrating.. Request someone to suggest any solution

This app freezes after updating my Oneplus one to cm 13. I guess it does not support marshmallow fully.

The incoming call notification is not working, others are good. Tell me how to get notified on watch while there is incoming call... Jaspreet

I feel like with the 3 axis accelerometer, there should be some support for a step counter much like a fitbit. I don't get why this isn't a supported function. Other than that...it's ok. Nothing more...nothing less.

Good watch... But however the weather info from the watch is incorrect. I see no where to edit or adjust

This app is a pain. My watch broke a while ago, but I can't uninstall the app, so I'm stuck with a waste of space for who knows how long.

If you are having problems with Bluetooth,it was a problem for me i found out if you have a battery saver on it will disconnect, go into settings on turn off watch only that should fix the problem

I've had my watch for about 3 weeks. It looks nice, works well, let's me check messages discreetly. The only issue I have is that I'd like to see more comparable apps/functions such as a pedometer.

It worked great for a while no I can't get my phone to connect to my watch or even see my watch. I just updated to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The app does not always connect with the watch and it disconnects quit a lot. I wish they could fix this problem. Although not a bad app, it still has its bulges and glitches.
