Update#3: Still a mess! Crashes constantly. When it does work, it has issues with timing out, scrolling, getting stuck, etc... it's just not good. Response to your response: no, you fix your app. You get paid for this, not me. Look at your other reviews, this isn't just my issue-- and if it's device related, that's literally your job to figure out and fix. I'm running latest updates version of Samsung galaxy s10+, my wife has latest iPhone... same issues, same with our friends, too.

To the app is OK. It has a weekly ads and the ability to add coupons to your card. However, the shopping list feature leaves much to be desired. You can only add items that are from the weekly ad to your list, everything else must be generic text. I really wish you could search and add items from the store's inventory like the Wegmans app can.

The website is garbage. Slow, not stream-lined at all, and misleading verbiage. Can't even pull it up today so I thought I'd download the app even though it had poor ratings. Right after download it pulled up the main screen and said get started, so I clicked to get started, the page spun for 3ish minutes, I closed the app and reloaded it only to get a white screen that does nothing. I know they recently relaunched their online presence but my experience was better with the old model, it worked.

This app hasn't been working and it's really frustrating. I can't bring up my card to scan, I can't place an order on the app, won't bring up coupons. Pretty much can'tdo anything and it is useless. Everytime I do these things it keeps telling me to create an account, meanwhile I am logged in with an account. I've logged out, Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and nothing is working.

This app was integral to my shopping. I used it several times a week for coupons, specials and MOST IMPORTANTLY a shopping list. Now I can't login, it doesn't recognize my name, email and I lost my favorites list, I don't even know if my bonus points count anymore, it's enough to end my 30 years shopping at Giant/Martin's. I'd give it 0 stars but it has to get 1 inorder to post this review.

There are a lot of great things about this app but one of the most frustrating is having an item in your hand and scanning it and it says can't be found. I even tried the search function and couldn't find the item I was holding. Trying to add everything to the cart without being able to find the items defeats the touchless process.

If I could give this zero or negative stars I would. The old version worked great, but now it's been given an absolutely awful update. Not even 5 seconds after opening the app I'm greeted with "Session Expired" errors, and just the option to search or go to my cart. No coupons, no digital flyer, and no points card, which were why I used the app in the first place. They should've made a separate app for online store purchasing and left this app alone.

This app was great until the peapod integration update. I can't even log into my peapod account anymore without it wanting to sync with the Martin's app. If it worked, it would be great but now it's not even saying I have a Peapod account , I do, but nothing syncs. I also don't understand why the Martin's and Giants logins are not cross compatable. I have a giant card but I use Martin's app. I know that they will have bug fixes soon but it's still highly frustrating at the moment.

Awful! A few days after I placed my first grocery order but before my scheduled pickup, almost everything I ordered was deleted due to a software error. I had to enter everything again. When ordering items the app will go into errors. I needed also to change my password & repeatedly was unable to get the changed password to work. I sucessfully changed the password by using my computer instead of my phone. The app still said error when attempting to log. I had to reibstall to get it to work.

I have had to Uninstall and reinstall at least 3 times just in the last week! Every few days it stops working, very frustrating when you have a pick up order you need to update, especially since you now can't change your order within 24 hours. I used this app for over a year and this has only been an issue in the last few weeks. It will also stop recognizing my login.

Deserves minus stars. I have had this app for four years and it worked great, until the recent update. Now the stupid thing won't load at all. First, it refused to accept my password. Now it takes me to a page where the words "session expired" pops up every five seconds. You can't do anything with it. The app is TOTALLY USELESS!!!! Martin's should have just left it alone because now it is a usess POS. Uninstalling this garbage.

The pickup option is incredibly convenient. But the DELIVERY option is faulty. This app uses a combination of Martin's staff, Instacart, and (for some reason) Peapod, resulting in being charged twice for one delivery order. One confirmation charge via Peapod. And the latter charge being the actual charge via Martin's / Giant Direct. Why? Don't know. Is it inconvenient to have an redundant pending charge for an extra 3-5 business days? ABSOLUTELY!

The updated app will not even open. I cannot connect to Peapod. I log in, and seconds later, I get a "session expired" pop up. Update 3/28/20: app opens Peapod login screen. Says I dont have an account, even though I've been ordering from Martin's Direct from the beginning. Now is hardly the time to run updates that make the app unusable.

Seems to followed behind several other apps lately-putting all the controls on screen bottom with no way to put them BACK where you reach them but super eazy to hit accidentally. Now super irritating and almost useless. Whoops! I'm parked at the store but the app says there's no store within 30 miles. Cannot make it work at all now.

The update is terrible. All I get is a banner telling me I've timed out. I can't bring up anything on it. Can't check my points, coupons, list...nothing. it is absolutely useless. I have uninstalled. The web version seems still work but how inconvenient. I will try to reinstall but not holding my breath...TERRIBLE 0 stars

The original app was fine before all of the updates. I haven't been able to access coupons for weeks. Also, I can't see my points either, so I am unable to redeem those on grocery purchases. My Weis app works fine though and I'm able to electronically clip coupons on it. I guess I'll be shopping there instead.

The set-up is bad. I went to customer service for help and between 5 of us we finally figured out to enter the password first, before entering my username. We had to do this because the peapod login screen popped up on top of the Martin's login sequence. I'm shopping for myself, not using peapod. This is bad set-up. Old app was great. This latest update is literally worthless. "Session Expired" pops up a few seconds after opening and you can't do anything from there. I have to honestly ask if the department or people who work on Martin's mobile application team ran a test run of this latest version or just went with it? Miserable fail.

Use to be user friendly, now what a joke. I was pleasantly surprised when I downloaded the app awhile back, started using the features and was really getting acclimated with it. Friday, I went into and 'session expired', nothing was working. Sent emails and received useless auto replies. Thanks for the help. My business isn't needed.

The old app was PERFECT... Since the recent update, I can't access anything!! Keeps saying session expired... I consider myself a loyal martins shopper, but when I lose my discounts that I rely on to stretch a dollar I may be considering my options elsewhere... There was NO REASON to fix it, if it wasn't broken.. Now MANY customers are complaining the updated app is faulty and they're without access to their information.. Tech support needs to step it up. Uninstall/reinstall STILL doesn't work!!

This a very poor developed app.not friendly user. The last app was excellent very easy to use. Should have added other icons without revamping the total setup. Very difficult to reinstall,and get to each icon ...also the next time you try to open app ,you have to start all over..very poorly design

This app is very useful. You can select your local store then search for products and see in what isle they're located. You can shop online and pick up in their designated spaces or have Peapod delivery if available in your area. I love to add products to the cart, this gives me both a list of what I'm buying and how much it'll cost me. I then go to the store and shop that list. If a product is not available, it will not appear so no chance of adding something they don't have. That and more.

App keeps telling me I am blocked. Seems that I will be taking my business elsewhere. There are too many options locally for me to continue dealing with these issues. Martin's should be concerned as several people I know are having similar problems with the app. Martin's will be losing an average of 2 pick ups a week from me.

New update added in-app pickup or delivery ordering, which I like. However the app is extremely slow now, and they took away the digital version of the store card which is the whole reason I downloaded the app in the first place. I prefer the old version to the new one.
