The game is OK. It doesn't seem to provide much direction and lots of game play to understand the concepts of 'missions'. After a while it gets frustrating and boring in the hopes that there is more to the game. Sort of the PACMAN concept of how far you can go... Not really worth $2. Also requires to be online to validate license. Can't play against anyone online. Narrow-minded greedy concept.
It will not fill my entire screen. Oddly enough the text is so small I used my magnifier option and it said not to use that... Turned it all off and the table enlarged to just about half screen portrait mode. I got to play and the physics are spot on. Is fun to play, just hard to see. As a heads up, people are taking companies to court over access issues like this for websites. I imagine it won't be long before they start on game makers. Make it ADA compliant to avoid that.
In my short time with the game, the physics are solid, and there's a good variety of tables. That said, Zen Studios, you need to make better support for high resolution screens your top priority for further updates. Screens beyond 1080p are extremely common nowadays, and I shouldn't have to dig into System Settings to force this app to fill the screen (and even THEN it doesn't match the aspect ratio).
Update: Solid designed Pinball Game but even with a 6.2 inch screen it's slightly hard to follow where the ball is going. There isn't much you can do about that aside from play on a tablet.. There are plenty of well designed machines to choose from on the Play Pass but if I had to purchase them individually without it; my rating would be much lower and I would be highly irritated based on their pricing.
Fun pinball, but buggy. The gameplay is exactly what I want out of a pinball game: the physics feels accurate and the tables are well-themed and challenging. The issues I'm having with the app are: 1) the ultra-wide issue where the bottom of the screen is cut off (Pixel 4 here) and 2) I can't sign in to Google Play, it just tries endlessly to sign in with no success. Fairly significant bugs that mar an otherwise good game
App is cut off on Moto G Power -- controls at the bottom of the screen are cut off halfway, and it doesn't fill anywhere close to the whole screen on the top. A broken experience. [UPDATE: Looked for the developer suggestion below, but there's no such setting in Android 10. The app hasn't been updated in a year and looks like it's just borked in Android 10 on tall devices.]
Really, really wanted this game when it was on pc. Thought real hard about it when it first came out on android. Finally grabbed it up when I opted for players pass, heck it's free, right? No. It is frustrating. Slow flipper response, too much action crammed into too small of a screen, and every table leaves me with the feeling I could have done better with a better phone. Maybe just not the title for me...
Updated from previous 1 star because of technical difficulties. The game was giving me issues at first with starting but had since been fixed and I got to say, this is as fun as I thought it would be. Very cool game. Lots of tables to chose from, I was actually surprised there were so many, and it plays really well. Just a great nostalgic passtime that holds up whether you've played pinball games before or not. Well done.
The same as always. Only one table available and all the rest is paid. The game is great to play, and i think that the fact the game doesn't have ads in anyway, makes it a fun game to play and enjoyable at the same time. But, it kinda seems that the game isn't made for phones that are up to date or have big screens. Anyway, 4 stars in enough for this game, but far from 5.
Wouldn't say its worth the money only get to play on one table as far as I can see and I have found other free pinball machine games to be more exciting. Don't get me wrong it's fun to play but there are free options available that are just as good.
Why have the game say choose your avenger when the only ball you can pick is Cap's? Which is super fun when the ball gets locked and you can't choose a different one. I waited 5 min for the game to finally switch, and only waited because it was my highest score. I almost just bought the a-force board right away, but I'm so glad I didn't. If there was a way to get a refund, I'd take it; I spent as much time waiting for the game to notice I couldn't choose the cap ball as I did actually playing!
High Res Screens Fix - Lower Screen Res To 1080p. So I haven't played the game yet, but I'm using a Galaxy S10+ with it's resolution set to 3040x1440. At first, the game didn't fit on the screen. The game was too small, as if it was shrunken down. Everything was small and tiny. It got me thinking when I saw one of the devs say that the game "doesn't support high resolutions" at it's current time. So then I lowered my screen resolution to 2280x1080. Now the game fits within the screen.
Surprisingly complete experience. It's a bit dated so you can tell the game is basically on life support, but it does work without issues so a+ Oh and it works great on the Fold3.
Great table designs, good flipper response, and a good selection of tables to choose from. Given, I got it on game pass so all tables were free, might have given a lower score if I had to buy each table individually. I especially love the Deadpool table as it captures his personality perfectly; for table design the Guardian's and Civil War tables gets my vote. Also, using a moga controller is the optimal way to play this by far. Touch controls are good but do occasionally not register hits.
Lack of support is obvious for this. Too bad google play doesn't realize this before they put it on play pass. Now devs like this can get more money without putting in the equal effort. Edit: I posted this because lack of update, no responses to people until now and screen issues. I have forced full screen so now I can see option menus on bottom of my screen but the actual game doesn't fill my screen. Half an inch on top and half an inch on bottom makes one inch of viewing space unused.
I play this on my playstations great game. So thought I would get it on my phone (S20ultra) to play on the go. Game does not fit the screen resolution, it's blown up so you see about 1/5 of the actual screen on the tables/menus. I've tried the closing/uninstall and still no good. I hope an update fixes this because I would like to play a few marvel tables on the go. Now knowing I could have bought this on another version of your app and it actually works. Is frustrating. Need a link option.
Game is broken on a Moto Stylus G, Android 11. Will not move past the checking licenses screen and does not show entire screen. Tried to reinstall several times with no change. Was able to try it on Play Pass, so not our anything monetary, just a heads up to those playing on newer devices. 1*
I am very impressed. I love all of the tables (Ghost Rider especially) and the whole Marvel theme just really brings me together as a fan. I am lucky that I am happening to play this game VIA GPlayPass, so my adblock isnt needed and no purchases for me, and all of the tables are mine just by allowing some data to be downloaded. And I think Pinball is really fun, so you have that too! An ad-free Marvel Pinball wonder. Never imagined better Pinball. Thank you very much for this developers!! :D :D
I downloaded it taking benefit from its promotion and the first impression was grinding in the menu wasn't very responsive.Later on i tried many times to buy an another table (thor, spiderman, xmen, jurassic world, ET, starwars) and the only i was constantly receiving was a message that i couldn't connect to the server, try later! All This is very strange because i also downloaded another pinball game of this company (Bethesda) and honestly is excellent! Just can't figure out what's going on here
Pretty cool pinball! Graphics are ok but nothing special! One thing that you need to be aware of is that initial download doesn't include any tables, you have to download each one separately, there are 25 tables and each is about 25mb!! I have got the game with Play Pass so I don't need to pay for anything but I think you might need to normally..
Backgrounds of game play are too busy, making it difficult to see the ball. Otherwise, it would have been the perfect pinball app. I end up deleting it after few days after trying to give it a fair chance. If backgrounds are more muted and faded away, would make a huge difference. Devs, add this game option?
Best pinball on mobile! Not because it's Marvel but it plays well and responds great. Which is important to a game like pinball. They also include a short story with each table and have animations for fighting and story telling. If you don't have Play pass, you do have to pay for additional tables.
Does not properly fit the screen the top and bottom of the game are always a bit cutoff which makes it difficult to select anything. If you can get it to work the pinball gameplay is actually really fun.
Resolution scaling seems broken or nonexistent. Unplayable because the play screen is so small. If I could post a screen shot I would. It's about a half inch by half inch square on the top of my screen.
Don't be lured in by the price. It only includes one table and all the others are pay to play. Gameplay is only ok. It's not the traditional three balls then game over. It seems to go on for awhile for no reason. You are only paying for the graphics and Marvel license.
Game doesn't work in galaxy note 9. The screen is super small and does not full display. It only goes slight 25% of the screen and that's all. I advise to get this fixed as a lot of newer phones have big screens and apparently others are having similar issues.
it's s fun game, maybe a little misleading. You are spending $.99 on a app that comes with only one pinball table. If you would like a new table, it is $1.99. Graphics are okay, but consider what you can get with other games, it is not really up to par in my opinion.
Fun but odds are stacked against you... I'd rather play a physical pinball machine. The game is fun and the graphics and sound are pretty good but it plays as you would expect. Being it a game, the odds are very much stacked against you. I noticed the ball rolls certain ways or just stops movement altogether when on the missions. Sometimes the flippers also glitches during missions. More or less, the game handicaps you in certain situations. Still fun to play and worth a try.
