MARVEL Strike Force - Squad RPG

Playing since 2 years, I saw the transition from good balance to pay to win. Early game is fun, it's fine. Late went from "you have time to get materials, upgrade, prepare new characters once every 2-3 months" to "here's 5 new characters every month, come whale 500€ for each to stay on top, and we're gonna bottleneck you for every aspect of the game. Also that new teams unbalanced"... overall it is alright, don't expect a fun time without money on top unless you don't take it seriously like me

Still working on it. 5/25/22 update on rating. It's a lot fun to collect the characters and upgrading their abilities, the process is time consuming and that is where it get hard. Limited amount of energy for the missions,have to wait for it to refill. The only thing that makes it more difficult is some of the items to upgrade characters are hard to come by and the only way to get them is to get extremely lucky in a crate or purchase it. You can get most of the characters if not all without paying. The problem is if you do decide to shell out some cash for characters you then realize its upwards of $20-$60 just to do it and there's garauntee it will even unlock the character. No reason it should be that expensive and is the main reason I don't pay for it. Season passes are atleast $20 that only includes the basic season pass. Other than the overpriced store, its a fun game.

When I first started playing the game, I would have rated it 5 stars. But the last few months have dropped that rating. There is WAY to much face time required to keep up with this game currently. I like the new additions (crucible, etc), but the current new approach to unlocking characters (month long 60+ hours of commitment) to unlock a character at 2-3 stars better be an exception and not the new rule. I am already on the verge of leaving.

Active updates do a fairly good job of keeping the game fresh. Character selection is huge. Requires attention to evolving metagame to actively participate on meaningful reward levels. I wouldn't recommend it for a casual play experience but it rewards time investment and patience with enjoyable gameplay, great character models, and intricate combat which gets more complex every time a new batch of characters is released (which is fairly often).

Game has been awesome, but with each new updates becomes less stable and more glitchy. Definitely pay to win but still fun regardless. The rng is completely out to lunch. Characters and story; awesome. Gameplay; immersive yet frustrating. Development team; getting better, little by little. Still a great app to waste time on, plenty to do each day so it rarely gets dry.

Really good game so far. Definitely more of a resource management game than a hero collection game. Looking forward to getting to the end game content. Really do like the orb mechanic in this game. Having a chance to get some really good characters right in the beginning is very nice. Ive bought the rewards strike pass for two months but there definitely should be more character shards on it. That would make it a much better deal. If I was a late game player. I see no point in buying it

New game modes are an improvement. Unlocking new characters is anticlimactic because you can't level them up or get them to a usable power. Even then, if they're not going to help your roster in some way, they're pointless. Cool new teams have zero incentive to get because you won't have them leveled until a minimum of a year. You're gated to upgrades by gear that is very difficult to attain in a reasonable pace.

It is a great community to be apart of. The graphics are pretty good (when they're not bugged). Each patch has new/returning bugs (they're too lazy to actually fix/play test). The only enjoyable content is PvE. They just added Cosmic Crucible which looks to be the most strategic based mode. This year they are releasing "scourge" legendaries that require 2/3 teams to compete at a higher level so all the new toon releases won't be "skippable", so it will be constant chasing of the next team.

I don't know how you think we have this much free time! Remove old game modes or fully auto them. You have added new game mode and more intensive events that run longer and have done nothing to reduce screen time. I'll be quiting in the next month if this is not dealt with. 4-6 hours a day is way!!!!! Too much

It's fun, but the drop rates are some of the worst I've ever seen in a game, and monitary transaction present too much of an entry barrier to new players. I also don't care for the constant pop ups in the game asking me to buy stuff. Every time I make the smallest bit of progress the game immideatly reminds me that if I'm not going to whale on micro transactions it takes weeks or months to progress past the next mission.

Lowered from a 5 to a 2 because I had to switch to a new phone and it would not pull up my progress. The customer service team is lazy and still has never answered my emails to correct this. I will say that the game is a vast improvement from when it first came out and they consistently bring in new characters very frequently (usually to market whatever movie or series is out atm). Update 5/29/22: Still no assistance dropped it down to 1 star. Their support was read the help guide

Downside: too many loading screens, tends to slow down. Still many characters left to include, for example - Blade. Some teams only have 3 or 4 characters. Overall prices should be shorter. Strength in numbers, less is more! If it's cheaper more people will be able to spend a buck or two. Upside: very diverse, many things to do, so, not at all boring. Suggestion: some characters, for example Winter Soldier, should have both hero and villain tags, since they have played on both sides

I took a long break from the game and recently returned. Some of the issues I had before are still prevalent. It is a serious grind to power up your roster. It can feel like pay to win often as you get stuck trying to power up a single gear item and run out of energy. I've done a lot of building recently, but I can see the power creep from my old lineups vs newer characters.

Fun, free to play still works. Pay to get further faster but it absolutely is not necessary. Update: as you get further in the game you realize there is a plague of cheaters/3rd party software users. It is obviouse in real-time arena when after every opponent turn the match timer resets to 5:00 minutes. Same is true in other aspects of the game making it harder to hit milestones. Between that and the alliances that spend tons of money it is impossible to get higher tier rewards.

Been playing for over 3 years now, and this game has become an unbalanced nightmare that is increasingly, boring. There used to be a tangible goal you could set and get the heroes you want, even if it took time. Now, if you don't spend hundreds of hard earned dollars or spend all your time playing, you're screwed. There used to be a sense of strategy and team building. Now, you're railroaded into building whatever their latest release is, because the game is not balanced. Yawn.

This have is a lot of fun, I can say a lot of lovely things about it but the thing is it's hard not to notice all the bugs, crashes and other issues with the user experience. Most recently they had a new large exciting event to release the first horseman of apocalypse, the event included a leaderboard, and the rewards were paid out incorrectly to the entire community. The developers really need to show down and double check their work. PATHETIC!

I do love this game and it is enjoyable for me. However, while there has some improvements in the work for '22, bugs continue to be a LARGE part of the game. The bugs sometimes even cripple progress of the game. As a mostly "free to play" player, I also feel like I am never able to get the full potential out of favorite characters of mine or any new releases.

This is an update: the game is awesome. I love the graphics and that there's so much to do. I don't like that I've auto-won a match 10 separate times looking for part pieces but getting only 1 part one time out of 10. I also don't like that I'm unable to get the daily bonus award character unless I pay for premium, even though I've completed all the tasks... besides those, for now, great game.

The gameplay and style of this game are great. But the balance is absolutely horrendous. After a certain point the game becomes unplayable unless you are using a very specific team. And if you want that specific team you have to either be willing to spend all your time playing, pay or just get lucky and unlock the characters needed. If the balance gets fixed I would love this game. But until then it is an unpleasant experience

The heck is with the difficulty scaling?? I went from almost oneshotting enemies in one stage to getting oneshotted in the next. Same happened in the event stages. I thought it was a cool concept with lots of nods to characters and universes, but I'm thinking that's going to be the limit. It's only my first day playing! I can't upgrade characters any further - I apparently need villains for that. I can't even finish the daily tasks for the same reason. Fastest progression wall reached ever.

The game is fine, very nice. I installed it 23 days ago and i play it daily. I reached lvl 49, but there is a big problem with farmable items. The resources are scarce and i can't keep up with upgrading characters. It should be a little easier for newcomers as your requirements for different events are waaaaaaaaay to difficult for us. I also have a big issue with the unbalanced heroes.

Good & bad experiences playing this game. Have been playing for a long time and crashes do happen once and a while but since the last update its constant. In multiple places too, particularly in the RTA. But now my new complaint is that the game keeps resetting my progress. I go in there to collect orbs or do a task and it starts me from the very beginning. I delete the game and reinstall it. It worked. I come to play the game again today and same issue... Next delete will be permanent. Annoyed!

I have played Strike force for years now, and the game is now just riddled with bugs. Almost 50% of the real time battle fails or goes into auto by itself (and then blocks). Every 3-4 orbs opened, the game crashes and asks to restart. Instead of creating new features (with poor explanation on how they work) concentrate on fixing the bugs please!
