Some parts of the app are easy while others are confusing. For instance, when submitting qualifying information such as tax forms, the choices provided no choice that said tax form. to submit items that did not specifically say tax documents. Then sometimes a date in the form would be wrong, but because I wasn't the one who typed it, I didn't notice it was wrong. A little more help with this would be great.
This app was disagreeable but mostly usable when it launched and it has never improved. Login issues constitute the first hurdle and that can be enough to never see the many others. The next will crop up either as you enter and apply changes or when adding documents or when trying to compare plans. A problematic presentation of options/changes make a stressful decision somewhat frustrating. Why is there even still an option to change my enrollment from two years ago??
As many have said. This app just doesn't work. Overall it's just frustration after frustration. It seems to be created on a very old version of Android because the menu UI for accessing their phone number was the style Android phones used 10 years ago. Why do we have such crappy resources for such vital things!
The app. is insisting that I need an updated version. I go into Google Play store to find there is no update option, only open. I DL'ed the app. a few days ago. The latest version is from August - a month ago. I have the updated version, but the message will not go away, rendering the app. 100% useless.
App is a run around. Selected to make a change, verifies account with login and takes me right back to where I was. Tried shopping for plans and that was a joke. Tried clicking apply and it takes me back to the home screen. Calling for support is a joke. They direct you to the website which works better but still is just as bad.
Nice UI, good functionality, relatively easy to navigate. Unfortunately, things take so long to load that I wonder if this isn't just some sort of elaborate load-screen/timeout simulator. Desktop site is still the way to go, unfortunately.
If I could give it no stars,I would, updated the app and now it won't even let me log in!!!! Call the customer service number and they can't even help you either!!!! So now I have no way to get my tax forms!!!!!!!
Tried enrolling about five times. It continually DOES NOT SAVE ANY INFORMATION. Last attempt I tried to do it all in one session. When I reached the last step, the app unexpectedly closed and once again LOST ALL INFORMATION!!!!! Totally useless waste of time. I'm trying the website on a computer next.
This app is misleading. It NEVER enables enrollment. If you click NEXT on the application a million times, it still amounts to absolutely no result, just the same NEXT button. I wasted hours on this. It is absolutely disgusting. Further, it is nearly impossible to login because it NEVER actually sends a promised email. It is deceptive and useless and a total waste of time. I would recommend Healthcare.gov, but unfortunately, they are equally useless because they send you to MHC. Shame on MHC.
Can't even upload and it doesn't even use any info from the website version. So if you upload a file via pc it won't be available on the mobile app. None of their online options work and you have to resort to call them. They're not even attempting to fix these problems. This is what's wrong with our government too busy to fix the things that don't matter than fix the stuff people need.
The app keeps crashing when I try to fill out the application. It is non-functional. Considering that the website is not compatible with mobile platforms and open enrollment is only a few weeks long, this is a giant, life affecting problem for many Marylanders. Please fix it!
Both this app and the website are useless, can't finish enrollment because I cant upload documents. It says to go to my inbox on both and there should be a link. I dont see a my inbox option let alone a link for it. It's a waste of time and just proves how they dont want you to get assistance.
I've had trouble opening this app for a month, I cannot access my Medicaid number which I need to make a doctor's appointment and I have not received my medical card so this is my only option. The app will open then close and say app has stopped working and gives me a selection to close app or send feedback. I have sent feedback numerous times and the app has yet to be corrected so I can open it. it worked fine at first for few month. now nothing!!
Everytime i try to login using the correct information it tells me the info doesnt match records. If i try too many times it locks me out saying contact customer service. This is very frustrating. I am made out to look like an idiot because customer service believes im making the mistake.. Seriously!! i have the correct info saved in my contact, and i copy letter for letter..
Don't download this if you value your time. Not only does it look cheap, but it performs cheaply. Maryland should find some quality programmers instead of choosing the cheapest ones you can find on Craigslist
In context of an app designed by State of Maryland and/or contractors it works with, this is probably the best one. I would expect more from a company that was for profit but for government contracted app, this works pretty well. Main issue is just trying to find what you need anywhere on mobile and not clicking desktop site and magnifying things but this app at least gets you basics that is enough for what you need while out most of the time.
I downloaded the app to make renewing my stuff and submiting my documents easier, of course that's not the case! Half the time it won't let me log in and when I can none of the buttons work. This is insane...
App said it needed to update before I uploaded verification forms, tried to update but it wouldn't. So I uninstalled so I could try to reinstall and guess what it wont let me install app back on my phone. I've tried during different times of day, but still nothing
This app must have been programmed by the most incompetent jobber there is. It's layout is confusing, there is no clear indication when you've submitted or received anything, and all important information is a nightmare to locate. Its so bad in fact, I have a feeling it must be in purpose, in order for MD state to save money; can't get healthcare if you can't enroll! The state's time would be better spent dumping our corpses into the Chesapeake than forcing this app upon us.
App don't work... many features just freezes or does nothing, I have a really good phone so no it's not my phone or its settings. Y'all really need better developers especially when it comes to something like this.
So I see below alot of people have the same issue. Why is this a government app if it's useless. I have an infection brewing in jaw and cant do a thing about it till my insurance is fixed so thank you for taking you're good old time getting back to clients. Shows how much yall act like you care. 2 weeks not a single response. My documents are in limbo who knows if they actually got em cuz I wouldnt. Dont waste your time with this app. When you go to send Identity documents. Itll never work. GTFO
It is in general well done. Only problem I noted was the drop down menu for the states didn't open. If I put in a zip code, it should bring up the correct state. I don't believe any zip codes cross borders.
Totally useless. Tried on both phone and tablet. Download on both. Clicked log in and it takes you back to Google play. Had to break out laptop to access account.
Never could get it to work. I just need the MyIR mobil app on my phone. Available?
Update: it's been a whole year and still can't upload documents at all. I can't even do it on my PC let alone this app. Says theres a link I see no link. Whole website is a mess.
I literally cannot use it as of January 2022. I open it and I get a pop up message saying I am using an outdated version and must update to continue. So I update, tap open, and get the same message again...and around and around we go!😬
