It's...functional. But why even bother having an app if the website is superior? This isn't worth the space on your memory. They tout drawing on your SOAP notes, which you'd think would be in the app, right? Nope. Website. Create multiple appointments for one client in one window? Still just website. All this app can do is slowly set appointments, and make notes. It's also super glitchy, with menus sticking and words bouncing. Wait for a new app.
Love the desktop version. But the app is not efficient. Booking appointments takes forever, with the inefficient layout of the calendar screen. Can't sell memberships with the app. And there isn't a widget to store on the home screen to be able to check the schedule without having to go into the app itself. Would be great if the app calander screen looked like the desktop version, or the way Vagaro looks in app. Would be much easier to navigate and see what times are available and what's not.
I'm puzzled as to why people rated the app 4 or 5 stars and then listed the things it doesn't do. I think the app is UNUSABLE for a busy practice. can only see a 4-5 hour block of one day on the screen at a time and not in a usable format. NO capability to send emails or check a gift certificate. Love the desk top version, but only have access to that at night. I can switch to use MB with these limitations.
i use this app because that's what I've always used. The app is so challenging. No Gift Cert sales, no couples, no sharing packages, also you can't create a package with more than one of a certain service. let's say i wanted to do 2 1 hour massage with a facial package.... nope. only allows one. it's so terribly annoying and convenient at the same time
I liked the app, but since it changed to only paying users being allowed to post appointments on the calendar, it became useless to me, as I was using the free version. Also, they may have fixed this, but when i did use it and potential clients requested an appointment, I never received notifications. If I was in the app all the time, I may have noticed an appointment request, but I only went into it when I needed to. Which was infrequent.
I am happy with the software overall. Its awesome to have an industry specific product. The app force closes A LOT. This week it forced closed mid transaction and now I am having a whole ordeal with square trying to capture the payment. I have a lot of issues with the app not letting me schedule things because the times and menus won't load. I have to close and reopen the app multiple times per day. Very glitchy. Wish I could do more on app, but sadly feel that the app couldn't handle any more.
Easy to use and intuitive. Best booking software I've found. That being said, the inability to create/update intake forms from the app is very inconvenient. Most of my clients don't book online so this gets annoying having to use the website for new clients or to update an existing clients.
I've had this service for over a year-and-a-half now. The mobile interface is not very user-friendly. There are some very strange caveats to the software as well. It's actually gotten worse to use over time. For some reason it doesn't interface well with my Google schedule or with Square mobile payments. which it used to very well. Also, I tried to get assistance with customer service and the process is slow, cumbersome and not terribly effective.
This app is terrible! Its extremely difficult to check availability with multiple therapists working. Its visually crowded and tiny. Booking takes too long with far too many clicks and refresh times. Wish they would scrap the app and start over with Google calendar or even their own computer version as a template. If you have multiple therapists I'd not recommend this app. We love Massage Book's PC interface but the literally costs me money and time because it sucks SO bad!
Does not allow for easy bookings for a couple's appointment (same time for 2 clients & 2 therapists) it does not work on a computer, tablet nor phone app. They have been promising this feature since 2016, It is now 2019 they keep saying "in the works". The app works completely differently then the online desktop version more difficult to see who IS/ IS NOT Available.
They did updates and now have quite a few glitches and then, with only a months notice, they raised the rates by $14 per month. I recommend finding a more secure scheduling software.
Love this app! It's simple and friendly using for many years. Highly recommended for all health practices, school, spa, gym who have clients and keep it professional.
Not working efficiently lately, in the past month. Too often logging out, loading way too slow, and when it loads it's not displaying correct schedule informaron. What's going on?
Cannot see full schedule. Hard to input personal time and view total hours available. The desktop site looks much diffrent from the app. Very inconvenient.
I couldn't do business without them. They fully automate my massage practice. From advertising, to customer communication, to billing, they offer it all.
seriously something wrong with this app!!! it will not let me log in, been using the same on my mobile since last September. access forbidden!! then it loads and loads and loads, its not my network either! terrible!! fix it or im gonna get another scheduling site!!!
App is missing a lot of functionality. It's basically just the scheduling function. If you need to change anything else about your business you'll need to go to the website
Many good things about this software both on pc or phone needs a few more tweaks though. Like setting up well known holistic services that aren't listed i.e. Energy Medicine-Energywork-Energy Healing, really? Reiki, Qigong, Prana, ReConnection, DNA Activation, Theta healing and Healing Touch that Nurse practitioners use all are forms of energy healing work. Another is ADD CLASSES and ADD CLASS REGISTRATION and ability for the professional to design our own custom client forms. Pretty PLEASE! It's worth a 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟rating to me!
Worked on my Turbo 2 but hasn't worked on my new Moto Z3. Just says "No internet connection". I have internet, wifi and mobile but the app doesn't recognize it or something.
1 year anniversary using massage book. eady, intuitive software. my clients tell me often hiw much they like it, how easy it is to use and hiw convenient to use 24/7
Depressingly Useless. You can clearly tell they put all the work into the desktop version but this is worse than I can do on my own literally with square space or any website maker that actually makes mobile also work.
How the hell do u check notifications??? It doesn't show them when you click on it although it says u have notifications. A white blank screen appears.
Love the desktop needs more features n mobile app for sure needs intergrating with square. been strong for years. Great for my small business n its growing with me.
The best!!! Other will charge much more for so much less. I also love the integrity of the company and owner. CR is super fast and efficient!
"Recieve notifications" keeps turning off by itself in the Settings. Make sure you check for future appointments because the app will NOT tell you.
Just downloaded to create an account. It is stuck trying to save my info about my business on the 2nd screen. Not impressed so far

Trying to sign up and app hangs up on the 'tell us more about your business' screen. Can't get past it.
I like the desktop version... but I cant get the moblie app to link with my sign in info so I have to stay logged in on google chrome to see my schedule when Im on the go
Pros: Easy to ring up a sale since it syncs with Square app/CC reader. I'm able to dictate SOAP notes. Cons: Scheduling an appt is virtually impossible due to the way the available times are displayed. Appt blocks are the same size regardless of duration. You can't tell, at a glance, what your day looks like. 30, 60 and 90 min appts all look the same and the duration isn't in the desciption. You can only look closely at the start and end times to tell what type of appointment is next.
