The first impression is very good.. But after using it for a while now I miss a few things: - Default setting for the film type (I would like to default to 120) - A way to calculate quantities for mixing fixed and stopbath without having to make a dummy recipe and misuse the developer - An option to copy a recipe to the clipboard or paste it into the app - and a little more involved, but a time for the ilford way of washing the film after development (fill water, agitate 3x, wait a minute, refill water, agitate 6x, wait a minute etc. till 24x) It saves a lot of water but I don't see it possible with the current editor.

an overall great experience on my s10. had the iOS version and just thankful they didnt forget the android developers. wish the text and buttons covered more of the vertical of the screen space on my device since the buttons are smaller and harder to reach. optimizing for larger screen devices would give this a 5 star.
Does it work? Yes. Does it work well? Kind of. I can't seem to be able to delete my times that I've created, and the edit button intermittently dissapears. Once I open one of my times I can't exit it without exiting the whole app. Overall for the amount of money it costs, I expected it to be better.
A great app, well and worth purchashing. I have just used it to develop 2 x Ilford fp4 films in Rodinal developer, they both came out perfectly! This app makes the whole process very straightforward, its easy to understand & very intuitive.
the go-to app for developing your own black and white film. There are no substitutes. Moreover, if you find a time/method that works better for you, you can add it to the list as a custom time.
Excellent very useful app. Obviously development times will vary according to preference but these are usually good to start with. The temperature conversion option is very handy and accurate.
Generally very good, although I've just noticed that the times listed for Ilford FP4+ and HP5 vary quite significantly from the times marked on my bottle of RO9 (particularly for HP5 which is either 6 or 8 minutes?). Update; Thanks for the clarification. I've checked the Adox website and they link to your own for development times! It's odd to discover that the manufacturers information on packaging isn't always king.
Absolute requirement. This program went the path from absolute beginner to some amateur state with always accurate timings. None ot the film rolls turned out to be bad. Thanks, dollars well spent!

Very useful app, thanks. But please, could you make the buttons bigger please, or provide an option for large buttons? I'm trying to hit "continue" while shuffling things from one tray to the next and don't always get the button first time.
It has been nearly 45 years since I have been in a darkroom so I was a little bit anxious going in. This app was everything I wanted and I was able to get a good result with no problems. Excellent work
Massive? Hardly. Only 1 of my 5 developers listed. And I doubt the times are the same for 35mm and 4x5, which is what I shoot. Nice try. ..... Edit: "The data does (sic) not exist." They (the data) are on the film package. That's existential enough for me.
Great resource but has one maddening bug: - The alarm sound goes off whenever you start the app.

Best of it's kind. Only issue I have is tempature selection does not go low enough for cold processing

Updating my rating from 3 stars to 2. The new update shows duplicated My Times entries beyond the 9th item. Deleting items or sorting this erroneous list has a destructive effect. Basically you don't know what item will be affected. Thankfully I first synced my database to Dropbox, which has a version history feature, and I was able to revert my database manually. Proceed with caution.
Easy install and easy learning curve for the Android version of this app. So nice to see software that was written by someone who knows what is involved in this process! Easily customisable with personalised process settings. The film/chemistry database is extensive and I've already verified that several of the defaults are correct according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Can't find a film or an obscure chemistry? No problems, just edit an existing combination and save it!
