Almost perfect! However, some things I wish the app could do is firstly, for it to communicate with my Mi Scale 2. The app says that the scale is connected but when I stepped on the scale, no data was received and reflected on the app - no weight data, etc. Please help with this issue. Secondly, I wish that the app could sync my data (calories burned) with the MyFitnessPal app. That is all. Apart from that this app is for sure a great replacement for the official MiFit app. Good job developers!
First off, I have to say that the poorly translated English, both throughout the app and the FAQ section, is incredibly distracting and hard to follow. Just get a real translator, please. Second: I wasn't able to find anywhere if this app shows the content of your message in the band notifications, like mi fit does. I'm getting "check your phone to read it". It's that it?
no support. regret buying pro version. I want refund. do not use it!!! for some reason it pushes your cpu, it also requires bunch of permissions to run properly which is causing the cpu to go crazy. will change the review when support contacts me back to solve the issue. P. S. connection process is quite difficult, if you're using your band for its purpose, then it's not worth it getting this app, especially paying for it.
I like this app as it has step counter sleep if you have not using mi band. I have MI Band HRX and only thing is to connect with Bluetooth. By the way the only problem is about there is it ask for DND everytime. I always have to cancel it... But I gave it 5 stars as it functions are grate Update: Pls remove DND from the app
It keeps popping up when i turn on my phone: Whenever i turn on my phone it opens and covers the whole screen, i don't know why and i don't really care, a notification would be enough if i havent logged in or whatever it is that makes it pop up, i have hundreds of apps and this is the only one that does this. PD: props to the devs for reading and caring about this review.
At that time it's the best mi band app for me. Everything's good, but it feels like the work with notifications is not completed: there is no option to work with one single app, and you can't get application title in notifications. That's all I missed, but I feel that there's a lot more.
My battery usage has been absolutely insane, using 30-40% in a given day. Been there, done that, still running into unacceptable battery issues. Set to sync every 120 min, so it isn't that. Only thing that could be the issue is notifications, but ~6-8 notifications per hour should not require 30-40% of my battery.
It was a good choice to buy the PRO upgrade. This application has a lot to offer. The only downside I've found is that there's no hint about how to tinker with the wristband notifications settings (there are some strange options and I'd like to do what do they do). Pro tip: If your wristband counts steps while you are in a vehicle, calibrate it with Mi Fit (in BEHAVIOUR TAGGING) before installing this app. The calibration data won't get deleted if you uninstall Mi Fit later!
It is easy to use, very functional and a huge improvement over the manufacturer's app. Recommended. My only complaint is that they do not document the algorithm used for calculating kcalories. Every company produces a different result. Sometimes they vary widely and we have no way of knowing which one gives the best result That is unsatisfactory. Even so I think this app amply deserves a five star rating. Well done to the developers!
Does not pair with Mi Band 3 Global version. Tried BLE scanner and many other apps, which all recognize my band, but Mi Master never does. Useless. In reference to the developer response - AS I SAID, Mi Master does not recognize the band, it does not show up in list of devices. It connects and is recognized by every other app I've tried. Developer is incredibly rude, and leaves snarky responses on every single unfavorable review, with no actual effort to help. TERRIBLE
This is probably the best app out there right now (worth 2 dollars) for Mi Band 3. Your app definitely could use aesthetic upgrades but that's besides the point. Developers could you please fix the display of the times 12:XX am to not be "00 XX am" but rather "12 XX am". Also, could you add setting for alarm clock app integration (picks up system alarms) so that the watch helps me wake up if I want. Lastly, a wrist vibration if I've been sedentary for some amount of time would be very nice. That said. Amazing app! Great coding.
The interface is ugly. The app itself does what the official app does. Once installed it has synced the heart rate with Google Fit, but later it told me you need to buy the Pro version for that. Weight syncing? Same thing: buy the Pro. Now if you are concerned with what a Chinese company might do to your data, I'd be even more concerned with an anonymous developer. In short: I would have used it, but it offers nothing extra over the very functional official app.
It's good. But I gave 4 stars because I run it in the background but sometimes it doesn't send notifications to my band. I don't know if it's due to my Bluetooth or due to my band. At least in the last update it can sync without lagging after some hours
Best companion app for my mi band 3. It has exceptional performance. I just don't know where is the exercise and treadmill program's data could be found . Also my mi band alerts me to synchronize my data every time I use exercise program on my mi band 3. Hope the developer would look into my problem. Thank you
I love this app. Main reason is that when I take an afternoon nap it even shows that, something the main app doesn't do. I have noticed that you have to sync the watch with the main app after you start this one in order for the 2 apps to sync together.
My MiBand3 from China didn't work with the official app, so have this a try. Worked straight away and popped up to update firmware etc. Really impressed, and paid for the pro unlock within 10 minutes. Now I just need to work out if music control for Tidal is possible. Keep up the great work.
Disappointed, I've been using it since an year on previous phone but after switching it refused to connect or show up in ble scanner or whatever app the dev asked and the developer is passive about the issue by not even understanding the problem. After I factory reset the band somehow it got connected but once my phone restarts or bluetooth turns off the same issue occurs. Please refund if you have some genuineness for your customers.
Very light and efficient alternative to Mi Fit app ... highly recommended.... *One feature request* ... repeated interval timer would be a very nice addition (eg notify every 20 min, with a different notification at end of certain period, eg 1 hour) ... then I can use it as my meditation timer ... right now I can achieve same thing using repeated alarm but its time dependent, not interval dependent, so takes more clicks to configure every time !!
Been using this app since 2nd of october 2018 Great app every feature you need and more. So customisable. Have recommended this app on my Amazon uk review of band 3 Only thing i wanted added to the app was ability to change menu order on band and now this feature has been added so i class this now as the perfect app for mii band 3. Well worth paying for pro. Using Samsung s7. Thanks
This app seems useful, but it didn't work for me. Starts off by doing the setup where it asks me for height, weight etc, and then it brings me into the interface. Excellent, I thought, as I have the Mi Fit app already installed so it was under the impression it would sync from that. After installation, and given the app tons of permissions, it kept asking me to "Run Mi Fit' .. and Mi Fit was running, and also when I specifically opened it. Then for some reason it did not connect and I couldn't see the data in this app. The Bluetooth was on, and something funny was happening, it kept asking me to Run Mi Fit. Having opened the Mi Fit app, that started to get stuck and was soon struggling to connect to the band. Having done this, I just uninstalled the app. I then rebooted the device, turned the Bluetooth OFF and then ON again, and only then the original app started to work. Not sure why it didn't work, looks like a good app, but it caused more problems that I thought it would.
