Pointless! You cant access anything if you cannot create an account. I got a new credit card that said that I was getting a membership with MAE and to download the app and create an account but when I did it kept saying that my card was not eligible for this promotion. After finally reaching both Mastercard and MAE I found out that this was false. Basically im just getting "supposedly" a rebate to get into the lounge if I show my card at the entrance and browse available lounges on internet.
Why it access the internet reach time I open it? Should download the list and KEEP IT. REALLY NOT RELIABLE. 0- Does not show the price for restaurants as it is on the website. 1- iPhone App lets you save the pass code inside passbook. Why Android doesn't? 2- Should Download all the lounges and update in the background (Like Priority Pass). 3-Very often the application does not work and I have to show the credit card. Zero customer care. Those issues are there for about 6 years now and no fix.
Useless, waste of your time. I can't even create an account and it always give me the error to enter valid payment card number. I tried with both my mastercard accounts and its giving the same error.
Can't register account successfully. After key in personal information, the "verify" button no response, can't proceed. Anyone can help?
The app use to work fine, but now it doesn't let me log in. It just say "something went wrong" and it doesn't give me any other options. I'm very disappointed with the performance of the app.
Cannot "Verify" at Register my Account. I entered all my info and pressed Verify...nothing happens. Tried multiple times.
The app barely seems to work (when it does actually manage to log in it takes forever, and I've yet to get a search to actually work), and it takes almost 300mb of storage!
Application does not allow you to update card info after getting a new card and is therefore useless now.
Disappointed with world elite m/c Tried using at yyz lounge they wouldn't except it. I had to dish out $40 from pocket, they said I would get reimbursed back from Mastercard. Tried contacting them and sending emails and no response.
Horrible experience. Used to be a Priority Pass member until BMO World Elite moved to this. Can log in at the website but not on the app. Receive a 'something went wrong please try again' message'. What is the point of the app if it doesn't work? I don't want to call or email to get this fixed. The app should just work. I received a response from lounge key after submitting my review saying that the new version of the app will work. Still doesn't. Web version works ok but not the app. Very unhappy with Mastercard.
Easy to register and easy to use
Dysfunctional app. When I open the app, nothing but the Mastercard symbol and Lounge key title appear. There's no where to click to login or do anything. It'd just a blank page. I tried uninstalling the app to reinstall and the same issue occurred. Also I was charged $1 USD to even create an account so the fact that I doesn't work is VERY annoying.
Mmmmm.... Where to start. First of all during registration my country wasn't even in the list, so I had to wait for a few days of trials just to see it appearing. To complete the registration process, the consent box was missing from my app, so I had to use a desktop to register. Once I was able to register, I had issue logging in. After ensuring that I had keyed in the correct Username and Password, it says "There was an error, please try again". The Email Form from the website is not working
Terrible app. As everyone mentioned, it won't let me log in. I can log in on the website, but not this app. So there's clearly something wrong with the app. Instead of telling people to reach out to customer service and waste their time just to be told that the app doesn't work, how about you just fix it?! No I will not send an email with my username. This is a problem on your end! I'm not wasting more time with this app.
The Android app doesn't work on my phone like for many other users. It keeps complaining about an unknown login error but I was able to login using the same password on the website and the iOS app. I have emailed the details to the developers. Please fix the issue so that we can rate this app again.
Rules are not clear. They charge you even when the app explicitly says they won't and the local staff confirms it is just a hold!
I was unable to get past the verification stage on registering with the app. Despite having correctly entered all my cc information, I continually got that verification had failed. Update: Was able to register using laptop and browser, but even that gave me some trouble. Was at last able to somehow register and app seems to be working fine.
Horrible experience. Have tried resetting my password several times over the past few days and still haven't received any of the emails they said were sent. Had a similar experience last year. Not much point in offering a service that customers cannot access. Really miss Priority Pass.
The app dev team at mastercard has developed two unique modes for using this app. 1. Once you enter login details, the app presents you with a "Loading..." message for a few secs before crashing. Now you can go back and enjoy that logging screen again. 2. Post login details entry, the app responds with "Something went wrong." Now you can manually restart the app and enjoy re-entring login details. While I don't find either mode terribly useful, I'm sure MasterCard's test users enjoyed the app.
I might just cancle my credit card just because of this app. I am looking for lounges and its not found in the app. So I used my desktop to log in and its all there. I used my desktop to save it as favourites and it does appear. Reinstall doest work. I was searching for doha, ganeva and Paris lounges! If I am denied entry because of this app, rest assure I'm canceling the card with immediate effect.
Useless app. Cannot get past the registration as the app errors out. Try going to their website with a PC. The website errors out 95% of the time with unresponsive. Just click on the website link at the bottom of google play. Doesn't work. Mastercard needs to drop this company and partner with someone that can actually deliver the services. This would mean a working app and website.
It's ok. Very stupidly logged me out the first time I went to use it at a lounge, (less then two weeks after I set it up). Then had way too many stupid security checks to log back in really delaying my lounge entry. Priority pass never does this. Sure a login expire is good for security., but for a low risk mobile app like this? Should be a 1 year timeout, not 1 week.
According to Google Play, this app is not compatible with my Android 7.1 Samsung tablet which is the device I mostly use when traveling. I cannot even install the app as Google Play won't even show it when trying to install from my tablet. Before I was Priority Pass member until BMO World Elite moved to this service. I never had a problem installing and using the Priority Pass app on any device I had. I tried installing and using the LoungeKey app on the tablet, but I cannot login using that app.
sometimes password works. sometimes fingerprint works. and sometimes they dont the inconsistency off that makes the app a failure. travelling soon. and hopefully it works then. wish there was a way to print a hard copy
I expected lounge access for my premium card to be free. When I checked couple of lounges, the access fee is US$27. Not worth it. Tried to cancel it. Not sure how can be done...After contacting them was told that only through my carf issuer. Such thing shall not be allowed!
The app is great.. the fact that there is only 2 passes per year is terrible. So once a year my husband and I get to enjoy the lounge. Even a discounted rate after say 4 visits would be better.
UPDATE: They seem to have fixed the login issue for my Android app How the hell can I NEVER login?! Everytime I have issues logging in, it's brutal. Worst experience over and over. Might cause me to cancel my credit card because of it
Unlike most people I have no problem logging into this app. I find it very user friendly. I does give details on were the lounge is per terminal. So far I have no complaints. I will use the app for scanning at the airport for the first time today, let's hope it all goes smoothly.
Absolutely horrible!!!! There is no direction on this service. We thought it would be a great idea to relax for the few mins we had before our flight. We went ino the lounge and the front desk had no idea about the service. After looking online we had assumed we had 4 passes so we went in. 4 cups of coffee ended up costing us $85!!!! Loungekey could care less (called them at least 12 x!) and the rep actually hung up the phone on us! Terrible customer service! There needs to be CLEAR directions!
Can't get past the 2nd page to register. Enter all the info it asks in and when you click continue, nothing happens. Reading app reviews going back to 2018, and it seems like this app has been garbage for a while now. Yikes...Not looking for a response to do generic trouble shooting. I don't want to waste more time. Might even cancel my credit card as well and get something else.
