Did you know the organization that provides the esthetician theory test for over 30 states uses two textbooks as sources for creating their exam?
* Unfortunately most esthetician students only study from one.
There’s a sensible reason for this – these two books cover a lot of similar territory
- but they’re not identical. Which means some questions you encounter on test day won't have that familiar ring.
SO. It was very important to us that state test preparation for esthetician students was prepared from BOTH textbooks. Over 1100 pages sourced for this exam. That adds up to 850 exam questions hand crafted for your exam prep pleasure.
From content to layout this app was designed to familiarize you with what you can expect on test day. Navigation through the exam, and the option to mark exam questions you’re not sure about for review– all this is modeled after the state theory exam experience.
As far as the test content, the questions focus only on material you’ll be tested on. We’ve cut out surplus information (e.g. the history of skincare) – if it’s not on the test, we won’t waste your time. And best of all, using the same source material means you shouldn't encounter an exam question that seems completely unfamiliar. Have I mentioned the questions are sourced from both textbooks? 1100 pages? And why yes, there is a limit on how fascinating steaming procedures can be…

I truly recommend this app if you are about to take the state board. Taking the 100 question quiz helped me remember things I learned in school. I took my state board theory test 3 months after graduating and passed on the first try without even opening my book!
Awesome app. If I would study only from the book I would fail. this app helps to understand structure of the question and I personally learned like 80% from this app.
Purchased app and does not even work. Don't waste money or time. Contacted developer and awaiting to see if he will be able to help.

Awesome app to prepare for the exam. It shows me which ones I missed. Gives the explanation of what the correct answer is and where I can find it in my Aesthetics book from school. I'm so grateful I purchase this to prepare for my exam
Love that it asks different questions and isn't just repeating the same variety over and over! Would be great to add links to click on for incorrect answers to help you study further
Although they have a lot of good questions on here, I don't feel anymore prepared for my exams than what I felt with quizlet (a free app). Kind of disappointed!

An amazing app. I was extremely prepared for my written esthetics exam. I moved to Oregon and they require all Esthetician transferring from another state to take the written exam. It's been 18 years since I've taken my original test in Washington. Even though I've been practicing Esthetics this whole time you don't use alot of the anatomy and physiology....this app was so helpful! Thank you

I highly recommend this app if you are studying for your esthetician state board. It has a lot of different questions and works great for such a cheap price. I recommend this app to a few girls from my school and they loved it as well. I'm definitely glad I got this app.

Doesn't give the correct answer just that you've missed it.
I loved the questions and that you could choose how many on each test. I am giving it such a low rating because it doesn't tell you what questions you got wrong...only the amount. Very disappointing!!!
Very bad. I was studying from this aap and my phone updated and esty app keeps stopping and doesn't open. I feedback and email them but they didn't respond for fix this app because I have a test in week but they didn't respond so totally Waste of money. Don't but this app. I bought 2 times and same this happened to my both phones.
