We’ve designed a complex mastering algorithm to analyze, detect and apply different settings to each unique song. The key of a good mastering is to look after the small details, this is why we focus on detecting what each individual track needs to improve the process.
Mastering can drive you crazy until you fully understand how it work, so we wanted to make this tool as simple as possible. The BOX will do the work for you, and when you hear the result, you’ll be able to control the final Loudness with the Loudness Control tool. This is an important feature because you’ll want similar levels in all the tracks in the same album.

It used to be good. In fact as a plug n play it did a great job. But they locked me out and nothing works. Can't login. Can't create a new account. Just keeps saying my email is invalid. Then when I try to create a new account it tells me that my email is already in use. Any email I submit except for the one it says is in use says it's a invalid email. Then it says my account doesn't exist. Pick one! It can't be both.
I achieved a good sound from using this. Debut album not mastered by MasteringBox titled Chronomancy was both re amped, mixed and mastered in a real studio for 500 dollars. Post production with individual audio files included. It was eh. Desecrated Euphoria on the other hand sounded great! It sounded like they opened it up. They answered the problem of my mixes sounding like you had to pound on a speaker for something to click on that other people described. Use the Website.
This is a great app. Better than i expected. i don't understand any negative review. While i am more than happy with the songs I've written I've never been happy with my mix or the overall sound - this app sorts it out. I strongly advise mixing your music as best as you can before handing it to mastering box ... Superb app...
Just based strictly on a free account, I am very happy with the clarity and boost MASTERINGBOX has. Even the free mp3 download they offer, sounds very clear and dynamic. Obviously, your session mix will ultimately determine the final sound, which will require you to expiriment with mix levels and eq until you get the desired sound you're after. I have a/b tested this service against a very main stream instant mastering service and MASTERINGBOX is a cleaner result....will be upgrading, thanks!
It's a pretty good app. Makes your music sound much clearer for sure. But the cost of upgrading is too high and sophisticated...
I give one star cos i hate the experience i got. It so annoying to hear my song being cut short. The starting point and the end part of a song will be no more. I don't recommend anyone to install or downlod the always at all time disappointting app. I hurge you guys to improve. The experience was'nt good at all.
Now my songs won't master because they're reading at 43.28 mb and 50.07.. numbers at this range are not normal for the size. I'm mastering the same length songs. Even tried to remaster some that showed at much lower mb the first time I did it. They came back at 40.0+ mb. Please help with this. I'm currently working on a project and purchased this subscription to aid me in it's completion. Now I'm on hold.
why dont they just make you pay for it. the main features for mastering you need to pay for I can't believe this! I thought I actually found a mastering app that is free, well it's not you have to pay to master! if your looking for a free app this isn't it. I am just dissapointed.
Figured out the rights issue was with the Amazon player, it conflicts with some files from this app. Please take away last review as it is not accurate. Keep up the great work!
This app is trash only thing you can do is turn up the volume on your song and even that doesn't work ! Please don't waist your time downloading this trash you will regret it.
The App did exactly what i wanted and needed although I'm using the free version and master my music daily it's still the best at what it does so yeah.
i use this only to convert my song's,but otherwise i don't really hear a difference in the sound when using the EQ, or adjusting the sound..it always sounds the same as it did in the beggining
This app is awesome real easy to use. Mastering songs on your own can be very time consuming but with masterBox everything is done for you .Thanks guys .
Quick and you can hear a difference even though it's not fully mastered, my advice record your session as best as you can and then head to Mastering box.
I love Mastering Box.. but its not nearly as user friendly as it could and should be.. Also contacting you to speak directly with you or your customer service is also nearly Mission Impossible..! But the product is truly incredable..!
An app named as 'masteringbox' has no means to master an audio without unlocking the pro version. Even the basics for mastering, EQ is only available for pro users *facepalm*
The app is good, except for the payment. I have a visa and I don't have a PayPal. It would be nice if y'all can add a payment for visa (if that makes sense
This app is unbelievably good. Even Mp3s get mastered very well for those who don't or can't get the wav file. It is an Indies dream. Well done Mastering Box 2.0.
You can't even sample some of the most basic features without having to upgrade to Pro. At least let people test the premium features first.
I dont know how to use it. And it make my ear explode. If you want to make your ears explode try this app and you will explode (MY EARS IS HURT). i dont want to bully this app but i want to angry right now because my ear is so broken. This app make your ears even WORSE.. I appriciate the developer because they could make this app i dont want to make my ears even worse so i uninstal it!. sorry If i angry because i want to remastered My grandma voice who died just a week ago.. Thats why im ANGRY
Great piece of app for mastering. However the final product aren't always up there with professional mastering lot. I give it 4.5/5 overall. Don't get me wrong I love the app.
Its good Just that when you adjust the loudness or the eq you wont hear the difference until you export your file which is a waste of time and data
one free Master a day and perfect volume level it's enough to keep this a pain every phone I have. I can only imagine what the top level mastering sounds like when the free when is awesome.
I purchased the app but after using it, it just seemed very basic. The sound was better before subscribing. THE Subscribed version was not good but not necessarily great, the free version was loader. The EQ was not Ok... then I thought is this really worth £50+ pounds....No! I would happily buy a basic app for £4.50 that does this. I'm waiting for my refund, I'm still waiting for my refund. When testing buttons the down load worked after third attempt. Refund required ASAP.
