Mastermind with challenging Levels
You need both logical thinking and combination ability to crack the code, that means Melpha is the perfect casual game to kill time in combination with fun and training your brain!
For everyone, who doesn’t know “Mastermind” already, here are the summarized rules:
The aim of the game is to crack a four-colour colour code with the minimum number of attempts and in record time!
A code is composed of a combination of five different colours, whereas the same colour can be used more than once.
You have maximum 10 attempts for every code and after every try will be showed how many of your colours were in the code and if some of them were even already on their correct position.
With some puzzling and clever combining of this information, you will always manage to crack the code!

An easy to use version of a fantastic game. Very simple interface that doesn't require any explanation (although the black/white response codes confused me for a while!). The single player mode is excellent for getting straight in to the meat of the challenge.
Love this app, it's simplicity, not too annoying adverts, no pushing "You are great, you have a big head" or similar. There are space to improve the app, as e.g. the contrasts in 8 colour mode, or it would be great if the codes I made a mistake would be marked differently, so I could return to them later again or just see, how many of them were incorrect. All in all, I love it.
Excellent!! the game plays fast and the interface is perfect. All your time goes into thinking about the logic and not the interface. My one suggestion for an addition is to keep a record of the players performance over time, including record fast times and average times as well as average number of guesses per game. I believe the statistical best possible is around 4.3 guesses for a 6 color 4 place game. It would be fun to know how I stacked up.
I very much appreciate that there are only very few and very short ads. You have to watch a longer ad after using up all your tries, but you can verify your answer yourself before committing so that should rarely happen. 👍🏻 Very Clean UI (with dark theme 🥰), great intuitive controls and all the necessary settings. I really like classic mode, but I love the single player mode because it simply takes out the boring guess work and leaves the fun logic part for the player. Very nice!
Excellent design. I'm really enjoying the single player levels as this is a style I've never come across with Mastermind before. It reminds me of chess puzzles (which I happen to enjoy). Of course, the classic style is also here and well represented. Recommended for any Mastermind fan. A solid presentation of the game.
I really enjoyed this game and would recomend to any one who likes to give their brain an airing. And their is someone at the end of an email if you get stuck as I did on level 138.👍sorry to have finished and will have another go at doing them again in future. The only change I would like made is if you put in a wrong answer it should be marked so you would know just how close you are.😕
Simple to use and clear design. I enjoy playing it. Colorblind option works, but the pictograms are a bit complicated. Maybe change them to symbols like circle, plus, square and the like. It would also be cool to change the color set. Still a good app.
The game is addicting and fun if you love logic puzzles (and I do)! I would rate five stars if the graphics were slightly softer on the eyes, and of the word "maximal" was replaced with "maximum". I cringe every time I see it, and it makes the app feel cheap and unpolished.
As a Mastermind enthusiast, I really enjoy the multiple game modes. My only complaint is that the 6 colors option isn't available for the 1v1 mode. I enjoy challenging my family and friends and I'd like to be able to do so with the "classic" setup.
The game is great but with a black and white background the contrast between the completed and incomplete level should have been greater. When you leave the game and return later, it makes it hard to tell where you left off.
Nice challenging levels. The color patterns never repeat and keep you guessing. Levels for all abilities make this fun for all, or challenge yourself when you're tired, as it's much harder to do right before bed ;)
Absolutely superb. The best tool to develop your logical analysis skills. Would love to have this app on Amazon Play Store as well. Proud of you. Keep it up. Completed Single Player Mode up to level 160. Please update the App to add more levels now. Thanks for the 60 Bonus levels which were added here. Have completed those too. Really enjoying this. Also loving the app on my large Fire Tablet display screen (got that from Amazon App Store). Absolutely awesome !
Love it, I would ask if it was possible to add Hints(short explanations) as how the solution is reached. Also I saw that you had an option for Color blind players, this is very considerate of you! Thank you for the great game and keep up the good work!🤗
Fun brain teaser, along with nonogram apps. The single player puzzles are a welcome addition to the classic mastermind game. I only wish for a way to flag/mark slots as 'not color X' or 'potentially colors XYZ' for harder puzzles.
Simple but effective. No distractions, no ads, no hiccups, just simple logic puzzle gaming. It's the next best thing to having a friend to play the original board game with.
completed all levels incuding bonus levels. levels were hard and challenging but not impossible. used extra attempt for only 2 out of 150 levels( watching ad).👍👍👍👍
I like the concept of the single player puzzles, but hate being forced to do brainless tedious puzzles in hopes that the higher level ones will be interesting.
Fantastic. Very much in the style of the old mastermind board game but with very quick rounds. Great fun.

Just like the vintage game. Ads are annoying but not too bad. Need more bonus rounds. Finished all 80 already.

To be honest, its a really good perfect game . Af first I didn't understand that much . But when theh explain it easier, maybe yourself could try REMEMBER look at the explanation first or else you'll be lost.
Really nice version of mastermind with minimal ads and some different modes that can be very challenging.
Been looking for this game, and despite how simple the idea, the challenge is complex and I love that.
You could add the option to send codes to friends and them try on their own phone. It could be an online experience, but shareable via message would also work
I've thoroughly enjoyed going through all 160 singleplayer levels. Haven't played other modes, but it's been fun to work my brain this way.
Great game with minimalist ui and a good deal of content. If you are looking for a mastermind style game I highly recommend giving this app a try.
Perfect! It works in landscape mode on tablets, you can customize the difficulty by setting the number of colors and number of attempts, there is a fun puzzle solving mode and you can even have 1or 2 players. Simply perfect, which is rare for an app!
