Match Land: Puzzle RPG

I really enjoy this game, the graphics are cute and the game mode is addictive, but the thing is...If you don't pay for gems in order to have chests (that still loot random things btw), it takes forever for you to evolve your characters I'm at world 4 in the light world and I'm stuck with the same characters (all leveled up to the max after LOTS of game play hours) since world 2! I rarely get figures other than the characters that I already have and it's VERY frustrating...Still a good game tho

I love this game. This is one of the few mobile games I've really stuck with, even after progression slowed down. The artwork is really cute, the gameplay is satisfying, and I haven't gotten tired of the music yet even though I've heard it so much. The game hasn't been updated since 2018. I wouldn't let that discourage you if you're interested, but it does make the frustrating aspects of the game more daunting. Slow progression and the inability to replay 5-starred levels are big ones for me.

One of the best single player games available. It's surprising that it's totally FREE and it does not have intrusive ads. There are plenty of heroes, shops and upgrades to keep you busy for months. The level progression feels just right, balanced and all. I like to play in short bursts of say 20 minutes so the energy system is not an issue, but you can watch a short ad to get some back.

I love love LOVE this game! This is my number 1 go to when bored, or in general. The devs have thought of almost everything for this game, but the best part is the art style. Puzzles are great and balanced while still challenging. My one complaint is the timer. I have ADHD so being pressured and having a timer makes it twice as hard for me 🥲 Maybe make it a tad slower? Nevertheless, it's still satisfying when you get all 3 stars!

The gameplay is fun, and generally balanced. Artwork is quirky and the sounds are well done. The mechanics of the game need a bit of tweaking because progression becomes a noticeable factor when you reach the 4-5th stages. I recommed that the game gives more opportunities to get stronger characters, or speed up the process by a bit. Other than that, fun game.

I'm a big fan of this game, been playing for a long time, I'm level 80. However, recently I've run into a bug where I will upgrade a shop, leave the game, come back some time later, and the shop has not been upgraded but all of the materials I used to upgrade it are still gone. Currently I'm facing this issue upgrading Dragon Rolls to the 6th star, previously it has occured when upgrading Santa's Donuts to the 5th star. Please resolve this issue, as it takes a long time to accrue the resources.

Love this game! It's very addictive and fun, also cute! No ads at all unless you want more energy. I do wish though that they would give you more coins after battles, especially the hard ones, 4 waves for just 60 or so coins when the cheapest upgrade for your heroes is 350 coins makes you run out of them pretty fast and it's pretty hard to get them back. Besides that great game!

The game is actually fun, i played it for days and i can say that its a good time waster if you can spare 40 min a day, but at some point, you stop feeling the progress. You upgrade your heroes every single day and you can barely see any difference, game rewards you but it just gets slower and slower and that is even before you get to midgame, you will be playing for days without any actual progress, and thats where i quit, if the game is not going to respect my time i put into it, im done.

i REALLY love this game! it's such an addictive game with no disturbing ads and very easy to play! some advices for the devs to give more coins or tokens for each levels so the players can easly upgrade their heroes in case to defeat more powerful enemies/bosses and the timer while doing the matching needs to be slowed down little bit, anyways i really enjoy and fully recommended this game♡♡

Easily the best Match 3 type game I've ever played. Just challenging enough to keep you coming back to play daily (or more frequently!) Progress isn't blocked by a pay wall, but there are a variety of options for bonuses that do include pay to play.

I hate that this game is so addicting. The gameplay is engaging and addicting, and I am engaged in upgrading my heroes/monsters as well. I feel like I've gotten too far in the game to put it down, so although I agree with the reviews that grinding for new characters takes too long, with my fully upgraded current party the difficulty level has rarely been a problem for me anyway. Not a perfect game, but fun. Also I can't count the amount of times I watched ads for extra energy lmao.

The game is fun. I think it's weird we can't opt to replay anything we've gotten 3 stars on. We can only use energy to reclaim the rewards. I don't mind that but while I'm waiting to level up a character I'd like to play stuff. That's the point of a game. Also, I have a Pixel 5 and the game sits so low on my screen I often can not do matches on the bottom row because it's "home" stuff is there and gets triggered instead of the game and I miss my turn.

The concept is wonderful, and no annoying ads, which is great. The game is fantastic with one fatal flaw. The problem is that introducing more party members introduces more puzzle colors, meaning the first few chapters are easy with big satisfying combos, then the game gets incredibly difficult because you can't make large combos any more. I've played it for an hour or two and it's starting to feel like a grind because I have to rely on luck to get the right piece colors on my board.

Really nice design and feel of the game. But that is the only good thing I can say about it. When you unlock the 5th character the game becomes almost unplayable and 'unfun'. There is no way to undo it and go back to smaller teams. I kept getting to a point where there were no more moves far to frequently and limited change of getting any combinations. It slowed down dramatically and was unable to get better than 1 star on any mission. Even the older ones Energy is the bane of mobile games!

I quite like the way you gather the enemies in order to supply the shops and then gather money from them. But, I'm about halfway through the 1st chapter and am now only very slowly progressing. The gold from the Levels is super low and I already need a lot of enemies for the shops. My biggest peeve is the speed with which the timer runs out. Sometimes I don't even have the time to select something else (esp when my phone menu pops up) and it ends my turn. A second or 2 more wouldn't hurt, tbh.

Game has engaging mechanics, and microtransactions are not overbearing in terms of a free-to-play mobile. However, there are two issues I have with it. - The first is how tapping a tile prioritizes it. This feature cannot be disabled and has led to many accidental moves. -The second is that if you 3-starred a level, you are not allowed to replay it. Only gather resources. This means the only way to experience actual gameplay is to play a harder level, that you might still need to grind alot for.

Great game! Well worth the download. I just wish there was more when it comes to powers. Kinda ruins the fun of continuing the game when you realise that all blue character have the same power ect. Wish there was some difference. Or cool combos or combining two colours created a cool effect ect. Would make it more interesting to continue playing. But other than that. One of the best puzzle games out there! Just wish for more diversity.

Game started out fine. Good to play casualy. There are a few bugs in need to work out, like how when you are setting up your team and select a hero to level up, the back button doesn't work anymore. Also I just had a game where I managed to build up a lvl5 tile and it didn't get matched once it was in the board. It would be good to had to each level how many turns it needs to get 2 and 3 stars, and as some have said already, the swipe is too close to the edge.

I really want to give this game a higher rating. It truly is fun, but I have two main issues, and I'd love to discuss it with the developers. 1) The bar at the bottom of my screen constantly comes up since I'm swiping around mid game, which screws me on my match chains. 2) the energy replenish is genuinely too slow. I don't spend a lot of time on the app, and it feels like I'm running out so fast, and the option to watch an ad for only enough energy for 1 early game level? That's greedy.

Overall it's a good and enjoyable game. Easy to learn and has a good tutorial. No forced ads! I don't think it has any. Played over an hour online, never saw one or an option to view one. Eventually you'll get to the point where you have to wait to play. Energy replenishes over time. It also becomes more difficult to get enough gold for character upgrades. You can loot levels you've 3 starred. Still consumes energy, but you don't have to battle. Bottom line it's worth trying out.

The game is fun, no doubt. It's challenging, and from what I've played, fairly unique. Unfortunately, my only criticism is a fairly large one. The game is paced all wrong. It begins to feel like a grind-fest very early on, which is fine - but there's not enough reward. Just endlessly replaying battles for very little return, begins to get old quite fast. I don't know if this is a content issue or just a scaling problem, but this needs to be addressed if they want to retain players.

The graphics are great and its super easy to pick up and play for a short while. The fun only goes so far. Once you progress farther into the game, the terrible RNG kicks in and your stuck on levels while you're left to gather resources to level up characters. This feature alone would be fine, if we're playing an rpg we can expect this. The problem is the drop rate for token and resources. I uninstalled when the drops i got only for early characters that were already leveled up all the way.

Very well made game. Cute graphics and no overwhelming interface. The concept is nice, gameplay is simple. I did drop my rating because I realized how hard it can be to advance later on. The game is very greedy about giving you new figurines and tokens to get better characters, and instead you keep getting ones for heroes you've maxed out long ago. There need to be better odds for rarer figurines, or stop getting maxed out hero figurines completely. I don't see myself ever finishing the game.

Incredibly cute graphics and good gameplay! I had originally played a similar game with Cartoon Network characters, but honestly the graphics in this one are so much better and the color scheme is a lot easier on the eyes. I really like the way the game plays, and I appreciate being able to turn off suggested moves so that I can look away from the screen for 2 seconds during a match without being hinted at what I should do. I also love that there aren't ads or paywalls anywhere. Great game!

This game is so cute, love the pixel art! Very fun and quite addictive! My main issue/reason for uninstalling is that that the grind becomes too strenuous to progress. Each round becomes more difficult to beat, and because the energy cost is high I don't get a lot of tries. Upgrading stores cost way too many ingredients and it makes it difficult to upgrade your charas. I like this game, but I dont want to spend all my energy constantly quickplaying my old 3 star games and not playing the puzzles

Ive never played a match game quite like this one. The graphics are cute, retro, and modern all at the same time and the animations are smooth and beautiful. Its obvious the developers put a lot of work into this game! Unlike other games of this category, its not hard to acquire gems or level up. It also doesnt take an eternity for your energy to replenish! Very good game, fun mechanics, challenging levels. A complete 5 star pass-time ☺

Love/Hate relationship. This is a very fun addicting game but the things that get annoying is how slow it takes to reload the energy points to play another round. I get it! Your team is trying to make money with the option of using gems to buy energy but after you watch all the free ads I have to leave the game for a few hours to hopefully get close to leveling up or playing something else... You need to change the 5 min mark down to have more returning players.
