App is really glitchy while on videochat. Before the update videochat was smooth and had no problems. Now the person I am on a videochat with freezes every 5 seconds and makes it hard to talk to domeone.
About 2 to 3 years ago I got on this phrendly app. I put money on the books. I guess I had I know 4 drinks. Remember these 4 drinks. A few day ago I thought I would try it again. I got the code for verification of my phone number. Everything going good which it dose so I brought 9 drinks $90 dollars get one free . And then BAMM THEYDONE IT AGAIN GOT MY MONEY AND THEN WOULD NOT LET ME BACK ON LINE. TOLD ME MY NUMBER COULD NOT BE USED. DID SAME THING 2 YEARS AGO THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY.
Fun and easy to navigate the cam calls though are spotty and glitchy now and the calls will end abruptly. Fix that and its 5 star
It's a pretty cool app and easy to use. The description is pretty accurate, but the fee taken out of your earnings is pretty steep. For instance, I had over $100.00 at the end of 1 night and when it was deposited into my account it only deposited $60 some thing... and there's an additional 20% fee if you want daily deposits (although they are temporarily excusing this fee indefinitely).
So the app is super glitchy. Pictures before would send only after I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now it won't open gallery at all nor will it send pictures that are just taken using the app. This makes it extremely frustrating. I hate making promises on sending a picture to only being denied the ability to. I can't take someone anywhere else from there cause it'll get me kicked and quite honestly I don't want to go anywhere else. I want to be able to stay in the app. Please fix 🥺
App says I have 2 unread messages that don't show in my list. I know for a fact that they're actual new conversations that just aren't able to show up, because one did for a very brief moment when the issue started but then disappeared before I could open it. Customer support just keeps repeating that they're aware of the issue and it's been weeks now of not being able to chat with anyone. Complete waste of time.
I used to love this app but lately it has become a huge headache. Even the website. I'm getting message notifications that I'm being messaged by new matches but when I go into my messages there's no need messages. And the CONSTANT FREEZING!!!! I think they're messing the system so we can not get paid because this has gone on for a week+ for me. Going to have to find a new app.
Very clever idea. You sign up and it automatically pairs you with someone. They probably always reply because they most likely work for the app itself. I had a bare bones profile. No pictures or any info about myself but they were flirty and held a conversation (which is unheard of realistically) well after 10 replies. I had to start paying and it all made sense. It's a scam.
Had the app for some months and can say it has potential but needs fixing. The video feature is cool but very inconsistent, there have been times where i would find someone to talk to but the video option would just not work. The prices are super high for the amount of responses you get, please lower them or atleast offer discounts in a similar vein to tinder and bumble. Also, the app (atleast for me) just stopped working. Tried deleting and redownloading and still a no go. decent app though
I started my profile Last week and it's still not been verified. I have sent "stars" and what not and haven't been able to talk to anyone until I get verified! When I first opened the profile it was showing me all women- which is fine, but nowhere in the app was there a setting to change to men and/or women. I had to completely delete that account and restart and even then that was a whole process. I personally don't see what the point of the app is if this is what the process of starting is.
Too buggy, stick to the website. I can tell from notifications that I've received new messages but they aren't showing in the app. I logged in through my browser and it shows everything correctly. I've uninstalled the app at least 3 times hoping it would fix itself but it hasn't. I'll stick to the web browser.

This app constantly messes up! I love the concept of it, but when sending messages it will say loading and won't send the message. Then when that person sends you a message, it keeps getting moved around in the conversation. I constantly have to delete the app and redownload it, which is a hassle.
Absolutely an absurd app. I implore you NOT to download this app. Its so frustrating and the customer service is so ridiculous!
The app is constantly saying "no internet connection" when I have full bars, messages will go through, but photos won't the majority of the time, slowing down conversations and screwing with my chances of making money!! Then when the photo does finally send, it sends the same photo 3 or 4 times!!!! Must fix!!!!!! If we don't make money, you don't make money Phrendly. Also, every time someone "stars" me, it puts the notification on my messages so it says I have 30+ unread messages! Trash.

Barely accessed (less than 5 minutes) features before being blocked from communicating, general use, and real interaction without pay to use structure being activated. It is better and more affordable to visit your local gentlemen's club where you actually interact with a real person not only in your time zone, but actually within a realisticly close space. I matched with maybe a nice person, Chloe, over 100 miles away only to leave her ghosted because of app restrictions. Don't waste your time.
Fun, but there are few bugs with the app that I have reported and they have still not been resolved. Connection is tough sometimes and it hasnt allowed me to send photos from my gallery in 3 months. Which is kind of a bummer.
This app is a total scam! Partly my fault... should have researched it a little before trying. But, the advertised 95% response rate sucked me in. Well, no wonder why!! They pay women to talk to you! None of these women really want to get to know you... you're a paycheck because they get paid for every message you send them. In addition, it's stupid expensive to use, because they charge you for every single message you send. Don't waste your time or money!!
Poor UI/UX. Couldn't even explain why I was leaving the app without it removing my ability to move to the next screen. Double standards for users based on sex - plenty of shirtless dudes and men using certain words but I couldn't post a GIF wearing a tank top or use the same words in my headline. GIFs take 48hrs+ for approval. Can't edit basic info (name, age) if you had a typo. All around great idea but poor execution.
Love this app so so much! Only problem I have is all the glitches it has and video chat quality has been awful this whole year. Please fix it! I need to be able to see who im talking to in order to have a good conversation where we dont have to hang up and restart the call 50 times just to see the other person for 3 minutes before the screen cuts out again. Also I've noticed that i cant promote from the app anymore. Only the browser. My main problem is the video chats cutting out though.
Terrible app. On occasion the messaged works. I have one person I speak to regularly and I'm afraid it will stop working all together. At first it showed 1 missed message, I have emailed support 5 times and the number of unread messages is now up to 5 but I can't view or open these messages it honestly makes me upset. I'm losing money and possibility to make a new friend due to there lack of custom suppory it ability to fix there issues.
I'm having an issue with my chat. First of all it always shows that I have 1 unopened message even when there isn't. And now my chats through the app have stopped working altogether. I had to go onto my laptop to keep chatting which can be very inconvenient. The app is great so far even though I'm new to it but I really need this problem fixed.

But again, as with most, the no unlimited messaging gimmick HAS TO STOP. so many girls im unable to message because you have to pay for messaging. I have been a consistent member for 5 years. Suddenly my profile goes to private and not public...out of nowhere. Due to this, I have lost 5 attempted video calls. When contacted, they said new public profiles weren't being accepted. Um...new?! So I contacted them again and its been no help. It probably won't be around much longer.
Wish there was a customer support phone number to address issues. Tried updating my payment info twice and it won't process. Checked with my financial institutions and they report my cards are functioning properly. Otherwise, this service is fun to use
I give it three stars because its not a bad app it just has some downfalls for example whoever starts the chat is the one paying for them which if youre going to do that at least make the "drinks" last longer so you dont have to spend 20 dollars a day to get 40 responses. Then the biggest problem i have is i buy more "drinks" then when i gi to do it again it doesnt work and tells me to contact phrendly support which i do and the first time you fixed it but the last few times it takes to long!!!
I do love this app, but since the updates, I cannot promote on the actual app. I have to go to the website. I have gotten maybe 25 messages in the past week whereas I was getting hundreds. I buy drinks to promote and when you buy so many drinks you're guaranteed so many chats that never come through. Phrendly needs to fix their app to make it work the way it used to. The update has caused no messages to be sent or received. Everytime there is an update this happens. It needs fixed.
