Very good for testing, and strengthening, your ability to quickly recognize a variety of mating positions. I know that it will prepare me for "mates in 2, 3, etc.". thank you.
Nice exercise for beginners learning patterns and working through logically how to obtain checkmate. Little repetative and I wasn't too keen on how the hint option was delivered. Rather than showing which areas are covered by the attaking pieces a false move should be met by how it is refuted
Enjoyed at first, but upon reaching section 4.2 it began giving me no points for getting the solution correct saying that the exercise is lower than my rating and taking away 15 points for making a mistake. Why is it presenting me with puzzles it says are below my rating in the first place? The puzzles are just as difficult as ones that I was awarded points for solving and taking away 15 points for a mistake is brutal. Makes the game a chore rather than an enjoyment.
Excellent app for beginners to learn checkmate. It is important for beginners to learn the patterns. Buy the app. I am going to purchase the series slowly when my child picks up.
I like it alot, it's fun and it works. I paid the 2.00dollars. How many games iv played on lichess where I or another person couldn't end the game and it turned into a draw. This fixes that problem Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Finally I can practice memorizing mate positions instead of calculating every time. These start with permutations of endgame positions, so a great intuition trainer
Exactly what I was looking for. Fun puzzles that increase in difficulty. Occasional ads, but they are not annoying.
Pretty useful... Just a bit annoying with those ads. I don't think the app has a paid version to avoid ads.
This series of chess problems is quite good, thorough, and also progressive; thst is, I dont feel like it goes from too easy to too hard.
Its a really good app, however, everytime I do a mistake i get -15 or more and my rating doesn't go up at all even after solving over 50 consecutive correct puzzles

I've just started, but so far I'm pleased with the puzzles as they get me looking at the whole board and take my time. Will add more comments as we go.

its a great app only they don't allow you to do a puzzle more than three times

This is probably the first chess app you should buy once you know how the different chessmen move. It does exactly what it says on the tin: you get 2500+ mate in one problems for $1.99. The problems are curated to drill you in a number of motifs, so that you learn to recognize patterns almost immediately. For less than two bucks, it's an amazing value. Highly recommended.
