MaterialPods (AirPod battery app )

This app is good, but sometimes, it randomly makes my phone really slow, and when I tap on something it takes around 10 seconds to execute, I've tried other apps but I only had this problem here. I have a Samsung Galaxy J6+ and the problem only stops with some time or when I disconnect my airpods. Edit: This review was from my experience with an older version, I,ve installed the most recent one and I hope this problem will not happen.

A very user friendly and reliable app, does exactly what you want it too. Came to this app after paying £3 for the andropods Pro, which worked to a certain extent but didn't show the battery all the time when it said it would. However, materialpods is cheaper and definitely is worth buying the pro (is also a donation as well), as it actually does what you want and doesn't mislead you. I would 100% recommend this as the best app when using airpods for android.

This app goes the extra mile for a comfortable experience using Apple products on an android phone. Gives you different customization options and works well with the pairing process and battery life of the device. My only complaint would be it has some minor bugs in app but does not largely affect overall app use.

when I answer the phone after an idle time I can hear the caller but the mic of the pods is off. I have disconnect and reconnect the pods to work. This is a super big inconvenient while driving ... That is why I rate the app with 2 stars

(Airpods pro) The best app on the store hands down, but the battery status is not accurate and needs time to get closer to the real one (if u compare it with IOs product), ear detection is a mess for my Airpods pro, but overall this is the best app on the store I highly recommend pro version. (Wish if ear detection works well with my AirPods pro)

Even after having read some of the better reviews, I was skeptical if this would work. It does. And I didn't need to buy the pro version. Also, the app allows you to disable it after checking battery level so it's not running in the background all day. Decent app, 4 stars.

Dont buy the pro its a waste of money, it's supposed to be ok but after the upgrade the app don't recognize my airpods 2 , multiple times trying to make the pop up show and its doesn't show up, all the functions are not working (play, pause , era detection etc).Am ussing it with S21+. UPDATE : 'I've updated the app and still the same, just like i said its a waste of money.

Honestly works better than what I thought and it is super easy to use. You can change the UI to what you want. Super customizable. Only works with real airpods. Only downside is that it costs like $.99 to unlock the in ear detection, but it actually works! To me it's worth it.

Good so far. After using thus app for a while I misplaced my pods and was not able to find them because it doesn't show up on a map to show where they are. After a week and the weather I cleaned out my car and found it under the seat. Glad I had nit vacuumed the car yet.. I give thus app a 3.

if there was a way to get the pop up to show up all the time then I would be rating this app a little bit more. Also, I don't get why the ear detection is a little slow because for some reason the assistant trigger one is better

I love the app it has great widgets but one really annoying issue is that it doesn't have ear detection which will automatically pause the content when the airpod is taken out of your ear. If you could add it in the new updates I would really appreciate it and I will be one happy user. Thanks If added I will give 5 stars

It works, except battery info. For whatever reason mine won't show battery info, I went through all the steps, and it just keeps trying to load. Not sure if it's my device, a setting or my airpods. But it's a cool app. Battery shows under bluetooth but not the app

I think it's agood app that will just help with the battery percentage but i have noticed sometimes it lags and takes a long time to load. Another thing that would be really helpful if available is if it would show when the airpods are charging. My airpods have been having battery issues so it would be be nice to know when it is actually charging.

Does not work, do not buy! I bought the premium version and my airpods wouldn't connect automatically to my phone. The app says that it's an issue with the airport firmwar yet when i disable/uninstall this app they connected no problem. This app does not work and will break the functionality of your airpods. Do not use!

Such a good app one of the best it responds in about 4 secs and some times it doesn't work but that's not that often u just need to disconnect your aipods. I really like how you can costumeise it. It also has little adds. It is SOOO amazing with the ring feature if you loose your airpods.

Draining your battery!! Running in the damn background all the time if you go to developer options-running services you can see how this app is draining your battery by running always in the background. Not worth it don't waste your time.

On Airpods 3 the case percentage is always stuck at 65%. If this gets fixed I'm getting the pro version. The developer contacted me immediately and solved my problem. App works great. Getting pro version now. Totally worth it.

Very good experience. Just installed and "seems" to currently work great. Really looking forward into continuing using this app. Would've given a 5 star review but I noticed alot of the "better" features are pro. Would be excellent to see some pro features become free. Overall, well done 👏.

The app shows the airpods charge nicely, but when it is enabled I can't play/pause music by tapping the airpods. If that worked it would be 5 stars.

To be honest my experience with the app was amazing but I would much appreciate if you could decrease the amount of the. add but overall the app works amazingly good.

It's really good especially if you buy the pro version. The only thing I wish this app had was a button to toggle noise cancelation and transparency mode.

I get stuck in the permission settings. It ask me to give permission to "Draw over other apps" if I have MIUI or EMUI, but I have none. I can't go over those steps and get the app funcional. Edit: thanks for the support. Works great!!

Haven't had any issues within the first 24 hours of using this app. I donated and received Pro for 1.49$ which includes some extra features and an ad free experience. I am using Samsung S20 FE & Airpods 2nd Generation.

I changed my review from 3 to 5 ... why? Not that the app is good. It has some small bugs and needs more refinement. But it's the best have used for airpods on Samsung note. The 5 rating is because I see almost every critical comment is replied by the app creator. Wonderful attempt. Keep your flag flying.

Using OnePlus 5T with Airpods Pro. Tried a few other apps, they all have some kind of issue that I have to delete them. This one is definitely the best so far. Already bought premium to get rid of the ads. Much cleaner user experience. Will keep testing it. I've been using it for extra two weeks now. And it seems like the percentages sometimes would jump up and down and the left and right ear pieces also jumps. Also the pop up seems a bit delayed.

I've tried many different apps for airpods on Android, but this is definitely the best one. There is a lot of customization for it and the notification that shows the battery of the airpods is accurate so far. The only thing I would add is options so you can increase/decrease the volume, pause/play, and skip songs by tapping on the airport if possible.

The app is good. Great customizations. I love it. I have one issue though, I don't get the pop-ups everytime whenever I take the airpod's out of the case and put them in my ears. Is there some way we can fix this issue. I have the pro-version and I have done everything as per instructions shown on the app. Will give 5 stars if you are able to fix it.

Everything is perfect but The Icon with the exclamation point is very distracting because it signals something else like storage is low or something is wrong. If it could be changed to something that has to do more with Airpods or music would be alot better and easier to use. Everytime I see it I think it's for a different notification. It's a bit too general for this app. Hell you could use the lightning symbol instead of the exclamation point. Please just something other than the exclamation.
