Math and Sorcery - Math Battle RPG

Edit: So whenever I leave the app and return the game will be stuck in a black screen. I have purchased the ad free version and the problem persists. Still a great game. Original: I would love to play the game and will be buying the ad free version, but after the fourth battle in world 1, which is a tutorial area, an ad pops up and the game will freeze after preventing progressing past the fourth battle. Besides this though it's a five star game on the play store.

Cute little game. Didn't realize how bad I was at quick, basic math. I didn't find the number of ads to be worse then most other free phone games, and they do have a few small purchases that include ad removal, so I think some of the complaints are poor judges. Haven't been playing that long and I'm already seeing a sharpening of simple math skills.

Simple, fun concept, great to pick up and play in short bursts. Looting is really handy for leveling and item gathering, and real money transactions are entirely optional. Ads are optional too, and only for some extra item drops or slight boosts. Definitely recommend it.

Great game...would be five stars if there was a more kid friendly mode. Time pressure is too much for most kids under 10. Companions are great for kids however you should be able to "level up" the one of the added time companions more ... possibly to unlimited time for "kid mode". Also kids like more fireworks at the end. As it is, there is no pay-off for 100% completion.

I'll give 5 stars because this is the kind of game I always wanted to develop, that's all, yes I know is a personal puntuation haha. I'll suggest that after resolve a math the next one appears faster, I mean the time between you solve a math and the next one appears consume a lot of time in the end so you can't solve more maths.

Love the graphics, love the game. I'm really bad at quick math, so this game will also help me improve on it. Also, it's very funny how people are complaining about unskippable ads while there is a skip button on the top left corner of the "forced" ads.

One Improvement to the game could be having more of a variation/variety of problems. The game is so good I haven't had any problems with it. It's not only challenging and fun to play, but it also is a learning game/app that is fun.

Finished at last. However, beware that this game has many missables. The multiplication booster pet can't be obtained somehow and some achievements will be permanently missed if they are completed offline. Re-fighting the target doesn't even unlock it.

I originally looked at this game for my son as he loves maths and is great at in head calculations. He adores it and is smashing it, he even got me playing it and I really enjoy it too. I'm going to introduce my other children to it too, the time limit may be a bit hard for them at first, but I think they will get there. I love educational games, and this one is fun too. Well done on a truly great game

All these people complaining about ads but that's what you have to go through without paying for games. It's great, good practice for quick math and the bonus part is an rpg style game with levels and items to gain.

Good game mechanics but greedy Dev. I don't mind choosing to watch an ad to get a bonus. I hate being forced to watch a 30 seconds one after a few fights. Your time is spent to watch as much ads as you play. Ridiculous.

Finished the game. Was fun and was quite challenging. In app purchases are optional and are not a must. If the game seems too hard you can always grind xp and levels I guess

Really fun. I thought it would be super easy, but with the time limit and multiple enemies/operations at the same time I really found myself challenged.

Fun and challenging. DESPERATELY needs an option to unlock extra content for money instead of using ads. Some people dont mind paying for permanent bonuses instead of wasting time watching ads.

The game is really fun and a good concept. However having to watch a 30 second ad every few levels is just unacceptable.

I downloaded this game to get into practice with speed calculation. So far it's working. It's super simple and really trains your brain. It's a progressive gameplay

This is unique and very well designed. Havent played that long so cannot say much about the story nor balancing. Definitely would recommend this to others.

Awesome, beautiful and helpful to give your brain a kick start. Can also be used by kids to learn how to do math faster. Or give it to most US citizen since a lot of them cant f$@#ing do simple math.

Very cool game indeed. The problem is with achievements about pets. I already have 10 of them, but the achievement isn't counted.. that's a bit sad.

The perfect merge of rpg and math! The mechanics is clever that you can adjust your tactics based on your ability. Keep it up!

just dont make automatic unskip-able ads. just make optional ads that gives u more money, or something. we would still watch it.

Fantastic idea but -3 stars for random ads you are forced to watch. I really get bored quickly because of them and uninstalled.

A classic style storytelling rpg with retro pixel graphics and a math based battle system. Math and Sorcery is making learning fun again.

Looks well made. Not yet sure if u can play offline and there is a stamina system but looks real nice!

my nephew and nieces loved it, and I liked it. The game refreshes my brain with math equations quicker. I recommend this game, a good RPG math game.

I was checking this out for my son and I really think it will do a good job of cementing Swift calculations. The time limit may be a bit strict for early mathematicians but it's clever and cool looking, which helps.

5 minutes into the game and i love it! Best fighting system in an rpg game i've seen in years.
