Math (Division) Step By Step
Math Step By Step is an educational app that teaches long division step by step. Unlike most math apps, this app will guide you in an interactive way to do a multi-digit long division operation.
- Now supporting 4 operations (division, multiplication, addition and subtraction)
- Partial Quotient (chunking) and Grid Multiplication (box) methods are also available.
- Now supporting 2 notations: 1) dividend on right and divisor on left (most English-speaking countries) 2) dividend on left and divisor on right (some European countries)
- Now you can show remainder or decimal
- Three levels of difficulties
- You can type your own numbers or let the app pick ones for you
- Two modes of interaction 1) Multiple choice option where you have to pick the right answer for the step 2) You can go to next, back, first or last step
- You can turn on or off sounds.

This app is great for Math but it would be nice to see scores. In other words, have score of the Math problems that I gotten correct and the score of the ones I did not have correct. Sound would also give an inspiration when getting something correct or wrong Math problems. Thank you for challenging Math!
I just started using this application and it's extremely hard to read the text inside the ovals. I'm guessing their too small rather than shrinking the numbers inside of it looking at the example images.
Great set up but it only gives me one problem to do. Wish it had a learning mode where it would randomly generate division problems to practice, one after another.
I tried it on a Samsung 5.5" phone and it works, but green ovals are still too small to highlight the numbers on 10.1" tablet... There is only one question... The app doesn't progress beyond the first question.
It's giving me good marks in school and good for learning mathematics 😊😊

All you have to do Is click the calculator on the side and type your question I could cheat so easy love this app and I'm keeping it forever got so much more to say but I'm not love the app🤩😍

As little hard to understand how to use. No tutorial. But is presented well .
I wish I can adjust the fonts larger, and everything else is beautiful.
It is a bad app decimal points are not working and it is not showing clearly you didnt make it well

This app is not difficult to learn easy to understand ilove this app
If you set to multiple choice it builds confidence while teaching how to do long division. We use it as a homework tool - he puts each problem in and then he writes his work on paper while using the app. That is important, because writing math is stored in a different area of the brain. My kid can do all sorts of math in apps, but verbal or written drills were impossible prior to this app. Thank you for making this easier on mom!
