Excellent way of Practicing basic mathematics for kids.. The game graphics is so well designed that it gets addictive... Simple + , - ,*, / for age 5 and above. I have never been able to make my kids solve math problems like this before. The time limit is a double plus. Thank you so very much ! Keep up the excellent work!
I'm not sure who this is for! The math is basically "X+3=Y" and gives several numbers to fill in the blanks. It goes up to multiplication and division. For little kids, algebra is too hard, and for bigger kids who can do the math would find the rest of the game too easy. Why isn't there a basic "2+3=_" option, so they can work on addition and subtraction fundamentals?
Has been very good for 5 year old's math skills. though a bit addictive and he struggles to put it down after his ten minute ipad time. My only complaint's are the ease of guessing numbers rather than working it out, properly especially on the greater than challenge. And the fact that changing the age doesn't seem to make it much harder. some parental controls like a session time limit would be good. otherwise an excellent game/educational App.
It should be an option for a timer to used. Some children panic when it's timed and focus on the time and can't focus on the math problems. I don't understand why we have decided to put an additional pressure on our children to learn math or should I say not want to learn math!
My 4yo quite likes maths. But he found this game confusing. He's not experienced with computers so the idea of having to double tap on barrels and vases was alien to him. He got frustrated trying to get through the bonus game (get the gem). It would be better if the character with the key posed the math questions without the need to double tap him. Try to make the user interface simpler for kids with no computer experience.
Good fun STEM app for primary aged kids, especially those reluctant at arithmatic, refreshers or want something a bit different. Free version was good enough that we bought it. Hope they do something fun like this in a new game that may be more challenging and aimed at a higher ability level as their other apps are too simple
Great game. Room for improvement: 1. earning points on the comparison tab is way too easy. The child will earn tons of points without having to do any math just by trial and error. 2. During the actual game there could be more often waystations with math tasks.
we like the interaction of the map, but for a beginning math level, it is challenging to some of the problems because they are written backwards. ex: 2+?=4, or ?+2=4. with a timer it is more challenging to solve quickly.
Nice gme. It's a shame I cannot rate multiplication or division since I couldn't test it on the free app. Additions an subtractions can be challenging. The game is interesting and keep the kids coming for more.
Engaging and fun, this math game is probably the Pre-K, k and 1st grade levels (at least that we have seen so far). There are times exercises, cool graphics, even a story / game version. My daughter loves it!
It a really good concept for my 9 yo but i would fear leaving him unattended to play due to the fact that it has adverts. For this reason I will not continue to have it. A child can be unaware that they have clicked an ad costing the bill payer sometimes hundreds of pounds added to your mobile phone bill. Its really wrong that ads are put into childrens games. For this reason i give a 3.
It's good, but there is a problem. All of a sudden, the game stopped timing and giving math problems and it was glitching. I think there is something wrong with it and it needs to be fixed because our wifi and device is alright and it is just the app.
My 6 yr old is very pleased with the game, this is his first day playing and really enjoys it. I downloaded so he can improve his 1st grade math skills and so far I am not disappointed it. The app is very amusing, and the problems are according to his age and knowledge. I love that it asks you how old are you before playing, my guess is to put the appropriate problems according to the age. Thank you for making such a wonderful app
Fun game, I'd have more fun with it if the maths got harder :P My 6yr old would have fun with it if the math was easier, maybe when she is older.. We didn't really like the levels, the little guy is difficult to run around.
The maths quizzes are fun but I think there should be more of them in a level, otherwise it just feels like they are playing a normal video game; collecting coins, dodging canon balls. Cute vibe though.
Great game and learning app even little ones could work out. Dislike: I wanted an app to teach the tables (eg x7 or +8) but it mixes them up. So only good for revision. Also you can only play some of the games before you need to buy the game.
4 year old loves it, however island Sea-2 has an issue. There is a step missing to get the coins and collectable. The arch has steps and one of the steps seems to be the way through but is not usable.
looks good haven't played heaps. edit played more kids really like it. am considering getting the full version kinda hoping for more content though, they raced through the free version islands and there are about the same again in the paid version, will probably still get it. It really has helped their math.
Excellent game, can be tailored for 4-8 year old (can do more but that's how I think it fits best). Both son and daughter loved the exploring, collectables and maths too. Would recommend
Great math game. Daughter wants to give a five star, but mom would have liked a bit more math and less video game playing.....😊 But she's learning, so yeah! I like being able to change the age level.
The game is challenging enough for 2nd grader but it is too short. He has finished the game within 2 days by himself. I guess I need to wait for the update, where more challenging level is added.
If it is a math game I think you should make the math free and make us not pay Because if you get as far as you can in mathland without paying for the rest of the math you have nothing else to do in the game so kids end up deleting the game because it gets boring after you beat it like I think the game is great but please just please make it free because in quarantine us kids have to do work or when we go back to school we won't remember a lot of the math we did so we need to do math at home.
downloaded game for son on his chromebook, but i can't buy the full version because the game won't let me use my account to make the purchase. poor programming decision on your part to not let parents switch back and forth to buy for their children while preventing unnecessary purchases.
awful, doesn't teach child anything. if answer is incorrect, it says wrong! an deducts points. It doesn't explain why answer was wrong or help child find out how to get correct answer. worthless. my reply to your- no one is expecting app to ne a teacher, however instead of saying WRONG! and deducting points maybe say try again, or something not so discouraging. DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN
This is a great game, both my children love it. But I would give it five stars if they could both play individually; at the moment there is just one version of the game and it can't be personalised to each player.
The game is good and entertaining but with the amount of ads you have to endure the game play could be better allowing extra features to be unlocked for watching ads or videos.
I installed this game and I wanted to learn multiplication but you had to pay 4$ to do multiplication. You shouldn't have to pay to learn stuff and because of this app 8 lost a hoverboard. So if you are depending on this app for something don't install it.
For a 6 year old, it's completely pointless to have the game timed. This should be an option to turn off. I would change my rating to 5 stars if this becomes optional. What keeps happening is my child who is concerned about earning as many points as possible pauses the game after each problem, so as to have the time to solve it, but then can't remember the problem, as it's blocked by the pause screen! -- this is a huge design flaw. Timed math for beginning learners is counterproductive.
