Math Puzzle Challenge

Math Puzzle Challenge is a free set of cross-figure logic puzzles (the numerical version of a crossword). It contains some of the hardest cross-figure puzzles in the world; this pack of brainteasers really gets you thinking.
Clues are given to each puzzle and the player fills in blank spaces with numbers making sure they meet the criteria of the clues. There are 7 different sets of puzzles with 5 different levels of difficulty ranging from Beginner puzzles designed to help ease players into the process of completing the math puzzles and finishing with Grandmaster puzzles which are insanely difficult. The player has to achieve a certain number of puzzles before they can unlock later sets of puzzles.

Each puzzle has clues, calculator, and lists of square, cubed and prime to assist the in the completion of the puzzles. The player also starts with a few hints and receives extra ones daily to help them on puzzles they are finding more challenging.

In total there are 86 math puzzles averaging about 200 hours game play. The earlier puzzles take on average around 10-15 minutes each with the last couple difficulties of puzzles taking hours or even days for some players.

Great game, and its challenging, yet fun. Had it on my phones since 2014. Great layouts. Just happy hey still are doing updates. Keep up the great work. Some said it need a "pencil" option? I disagree, just grab and pen or pencil with some paper and let have some fun solving some puzzles. I'm just old school like that.

A fun little game for fans of crossfigures. Could benefit from a few improvements, like a 'pencil' option (as other reviews have said) and maybe an area to work stuff out if you don't have a pen and paper to hand.

OK, but as others have said needs 2 features: 1. Write "pencil" marks for possible numbers - this can work like other apps (like SGT Puzzles) where you toggle between entering actual number or "pencil" mark and for pencil mark, small numbers are written in numerical order in a 3 x 3 grid inside the square (9 numbers should be enough as you are not narrowing it down if you enter all 10 digits!) 2. Be able to strike out clues when you no longer need that clue.

It would be much better if there were a "pencil" feature, which would allow you to place options in a box without saying that it's the correct diget

First, when you complete a clue, it should get marked off of the clue list. That would make it easier than having to hunt thru the clues for the one you need. Second, there should be one clue that helps you get the first set of numbers. (Ex: 2A=35 x 26) This would make it so that you don't have to go thru every combination of numbers out there. Third, in a few of the puzzles, the wording is wrong. It says symmetric digits, when in fact it means they all are the same #. There should also be a way to check it

There's no option to put possible numbers in so you can't use those to narrow down other clues.

Its ok but not good.

Statistical puzzles are needed

I really should be careful with what I complain about. I complained that Math Hexagon was too easy, and the devs directed me here. Over a year later, and there's just one pesky Adept 2 puzzle left. Well worth the challenge.

I loved math as a cold and this app has opened up and cleaned out the cobwebs...reminding me, challenging me, and keeping the brain waves open! Thanks guys & gals...i love it & it's an app i'll be keeping.

I love the game. The only thing that would make it better is, if you gave new hints every time a new level is unlocked.(just like on the math puzzle hexagon). And also you should give 2 hints a day for the hexagons. But other than that. The game is great. Good to play at school when i have no internet connection.

I've never reviewed an app before being asked but my take is if you like math(s), you'll love this. I'm way too old to remember how to do these "sums" but just completing 1 beginner puzzle, I immediately got the urge to re-teach myself. Basic interface otherwise 5 stars. The calculator history is really cool to look at afterwards to see how you got to the correct solutions.

I usually don't rate games but this one deserves it! It splendidly combines mathematical equations and logic into a fun crossword puzzle. If you like a good hard puzzle and don't mind spamming your calculator history then this is the game for you!

Wish there was a way to check off the requirements whenever you've completed a particular column or row (since you don't complete them in order). Other than that, the puzzle are a lot of fun!

Very fun puzzle game, thanks developers. ONE REQUEST: can you add the option to cross/check off the clues you've solved?

Admittedly I'm not a big fan of maths but I do like puzzles. I think this game is awesome. You are even given a calculator and some lists that come in useful, eg cubic and square numbers. Vety addictive.
