The latest design change is very inefficient. Each news piece takes so much space on the screen. You need to scroll so much to see content. Overall looks cluttered.

The new UI is very difficult to use. Atleast add the swipe right option for the next category as in the old version. The district news is also missing.

Pretty bad. Radio component has gone. More space taken by cheap advertisement

Updated UI is disappointing. Navigation is a pain

This app is hanging very very frequently. I can't see any attempt by the developers to resolve the issue. When you read a news and then swipe back to the main page then click on some other news to read, the app hangs most of the time. It is too irritating. I am changing my rating from 2 to 1.

- Major UI and UX overhaul required. - Option to continue playing radio in the background after exiting the app. - Quick toggle between Malayalam and English for the same article. - Better navigation, organisation of articles. - Prominent breaking news section. - Reduce the number of notifications, eliminate repetition. - Night (inverted colour) mode.

The app doesn't allow to share news articles. The options are weird. Also there is no option to bookmark or save articles for a later read. So I switch back to your website. Going to check if you have a beta version to try.

The app is not responding after a while. It closes its own and disturbing a lot for smooth reading. The ads appears after a few seconds in between the paragraphs and pushes the contents downwards. It also disturbs reading. Overall the app is not reader friendly.

Full of lies and half-truths. Misleading titles and incomplete content. Factual errors occur regularly. Politically, religiously and communally biased journalism. Advertisements are given priority over news. Spelling mistakes and grammatical and syntactical errors are everywhere. The callous attitude towards language is contemptible. Altogether this is a shame to the long legacy of the newspaper.

I have been using this app for several years and it was working well. But the new version doesn't open at all. It keeps on stopping. So I uninstalled it. After several attempts of installing and uninstalling, I quit. I use Samsung S7 android, regularly updated.

1. Multiple tabs have the same content. So much repeatation. 2. Some articles do not load. App crashes or get hung. 3. Off late I have been seeing app restarts in the middle of use. 4. The content doesn't load, but the ads does. Superbly irritating.

District option at bottom not working while clicking on it the app closing automatically secondly Dark mode is not properly working the app dims the light of the screen but not changing it to fully dark background, seems to be the app not properly tested . Please help fix these. Otherwise the app is very good.

Last update until 13th December has memory handling issues... Even after you exit the app memory is not cleaned up. Second time you access the app extra memory is taken and thus you lose available RAM after each session.... Need loads of improvement on that front.

Application crashing many a times. Irrespective of the connection and smartphone, it is crashing. Putting a review here is to make the concerned aware about the problem this application has. But I don't know if they are even listening.

Technically nice app. But All news not available. After a few news it will direct to older/back dated news. im using this app for several years. initially we are allowed to view all the news of the day along with the latest.But now..its not.

Lot of cool features. Smooth user experience. Ads are not frustrating like the other malayalam news app. One negative feedback is that the app crashes when there are no more articles left to read.

Hi ! I suggest an update , the headline is not completely shown when it gets notified on screen . Just to read the complete sentence I need to click on it . Other news apps doesn't has such ghastly conundrum . Please update and ameliorate the app !

Application hangs and freezes frequently. The interface is not very good and application is not updated as required. There is no effort from the developer to make the application better.

I have been using this app for a long time ,wheneever i reed two or three news the app will hang and "shows an error happend need to close". I it has a large space Of 98 MB still the problem persist.Developers do the needfull immediately.

The most trusted news source for me is mathrubhumi. I'm facing the lack of support for full screen display of the app contents. Please fix it and I'll submit 5 stars 03/12/18 as promised 5 starts again for bringing that full screen support 29/03/2020 uninstalling the app as even after many updates the basic problem of app freezing is still not fixed which was reported many times via app and mail feedbacks. Nothing ever happened. So bye bye

Well, it will never allow you to read lengthy articles. After 15-20 seconds it will terminate the current page and will take you to the homepage. It seems some kind of automation is in place....

The app seems lazy to load very often. If low range, the app comes to a stand still. When comment is posted it takes hours together to materialise; or fails totally. The app needs immediate upgradation and standardisation by Mathrubhumi. Or else, we will have to enter Mathrubhumi through YouTube only.

The app is pathetic. Because I like to read Mathrubhumi, I go to the website on my mobile browser. The development team should be ashamed of themselves to produce an app which hangs and breaks down so frequently.

Application become stuck when we r trying to open a news, this behaviour locks the whole screen and none of the touch controles r working after that. This issue is there for long time, why cant u guys fix it?

it was working fine until last month , recent updates is having issues with Android oreo and pie !! when clicked on some news app hangs and nothing works .. need to close and restart the app

Very bad experience. So many advertisements, and the news is not loading properly. Frequently the app get stuck.

UI is still not good compared to others in competition. Dark mode is simply changing the brightness. Dark mode should shift entire app to black or grey theme. Check dailyhunt or manorama online apps to know what is dark theme. Need lot of improvements.

App layout for news categories can be better. A dark mode theme that follows system theme settings missing (night mode needs additional permissions). ADs pushed are something I can live with. Please don't learn from your competition on placing in-app ADs.
