This app allows the user to access Matthew Henry's commentary which is one of the most respected commentaries on the bible. It provides great insight into the full meaning of bible passages which can be an extremely useful tool for all Christians. This app provides the user with the full text of the desired bible verse(s) followed by the commentary by Matthew Henry. An "Introduction" section provides a high level summary of the verse(s) and is followed up by the detailed commentary.

I'm knocked out with this Holy Bible w/ commentary by Matthew Henry!!! It's awesome to read his insight on each verse! It increases my (personal) understanding of each chapter and their verses immensely! So easy to use with lots of options for study, daily inspirational verses and worship! I highly recommend it, to all that want every dot and tiddle of understanding they can get From God's Holy Word!!! I've tried other's in the past but this is by far the best!!!

Wonderful insite into the Holy Word of GOD. The explanation of the times, places, people and the things that did take place Is so helpful. Some chapters I had to read over and over to truly understand exactly what God and Jesus were doing for all of us. To better understand GOD and see the great lengths that God goes through to show us that HE loves us is wonderful. I now use it everyday with my Bible study.

I have been using this app for long. Ever since my other Bible app started acting up and it's amazing. I haven't found anything wrong with it. I love the features it has. I couldn't start naming them all.😊 It's the perfect choice for anyone looking for a deep meaning of the scriptures in a comfortable way. Simply put, I love it.👍

I love the clarity of the introductions and outlines to the books and chapters. And l love that each chapter has its own introduction and outline. It makes getting through the tough and long chapters less torturing and more rewarding.

This app definitely meets my expectations and would recommend it to anyone who wants a better understanding of GODS word!!! ... Update...The scriptures are not highlighted anymore.. why? I found them to be very convenient

Matthew Henry seems to have the richness of the Holy Spirit in much of what he writes, and this is the most convenient way to read him that I have found. The books have tiny print but in this app you can adjust the font to whatever is good for you and his lengthy comments are divided up following the section of scripture he is commenting on. It is well worth paying the $3.99! That is nothing compared to the $ 65 to $100 you pay for the six volume set.

I like it but you can't highlight the paragraphs that are important. Scripture or paragraphs..frustrating! But I do like app.

This is an excellent app! I had downloaded the commentaries, which were taking a long time to load on my e-reader. This app is so easy to use; it loads fast, has a clear display and is an invaluable aid to my Bible study.

The best bible commentary that I have come across. Gives me explainations of biblical sentences and phrases in a way that I think is consistent with the spirit of the christian religion and faith. I am most grateful for it. God bless you.

Matthew Henry has one of the best commentary's along with the rest of the Purtian Pastors. The app is great except for the pages, you have to back out of the page to go back in to go to the next section. It needs a auto reader

There certainly are so many ads that actually interrupts the reading which is annoying. I was surprised in today's tech there isn't an auto reader as in Mathew Henry's Bible app. I actually have at home the big red book of Matthew Henry's commentary volume . I have had health issue that limited my speech and by reading out loud Matthew Henry's commentary I'm a great with pronunciations although I give God all the honor and the Glory I know because of Mr Henry's commentary I'm a fine reader now.

Easy to use and a real blessing to help me understand my bible more. A few disagreements with Matthew Henry describing Leviathan and Behemoth as other than what they are told as but a great app to have for quiet reading on my travels. Fab!

I have found this app very helful in my study of the scriptures. Yes there are adverts at the bottom. However I ignore them. They are not in your face. I assume they help pay for it.

Ads at the bottom of every single page while we read? no sir. Matthew Henry himself would be petrified, and this doesnt seem like Gods way. check out the best android Bibles, Tecarta. No ads!! God can pay you in other ways.

Going back to passage you were dealing with its difficult because the app will make you start from scratch go back, it's tedious.

While I appreciate having Matthew Henry eving Matthew Henry commentary on my phone phone the proof reading of the transfer the transfer is lacking very much. There are many misspellings in this version.
