We present for free download the King James Version, the most important English Bible, also called the "Authorized Bible".
In 1604, King James VI ordered a new English version in response to the problems of the preceding translations detected by the Puritans. The translation was done by 47 scholars, all members of the Church of England.
The new version would comply with the practices and the episcopal structure of the Church of England. It was translated from the original languages (Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic) to English.
This version of the Bible became the most widely printed book in history. Its powerful and awesome style has astonished millions of believers over the centuries. Definitely, it is the most used English translation in Anglican and Protestant churches.

I like this app. for the most parts of my reading and understanding. I also like the idea of of having a voice reader installed to it. Yet I hate the voice of the voice reader. it's a females voice that is way too harsh and can't read. This reader need to go back to freshman year of Jr. High School English class. She's annoying and can't read.
Like the app somewhat, but it has an irritating flaw in that when reading the commentary, upon scrolling, when I try to scroll the commentary disappears and app jumps to a different scripture. With this flaw it is impossible to read the entire commentary, which is very important to me. Please fix this problem. At this time I am considering uninstalling the app to find a better one without flaws.
It is simplified
Easy to find scripture, see a full page of scripture also a explanation. Only negative i have is it doesn't always read i. Layman's term so i can find it hard to follow
Installed app twice to see if the problem stopped. It didn't. After downloading, I opened the app but it closes 2 to 3 seconds later. Had that issue with 3 of the MH Commentary Bible/Commentary apps.
💙💜I love this.💜 💙For years I heard of the Mathew Henry Bible. I could never afford one or get my hands on one. Until I found this app. I first checked out the first 3 chapters of Genesis. Then, I knew this would be a great resource in my life. The creation is exigeisis. I was edified by the commentary. He expounded on the first prophecy of Christ in Genesis 3:15. I then knew I was hooked. Very sound doctrinely so far that I can tell. I highly recommend it 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I have the book, but find the convenience of the app great when I'm on the go. This way I can continue studying no matter where I am each day... a very important step in my personal growth to walk with and know Yahweh.
The old version is better than the update. The new version only shows the verse and not the commentary to go along with verse like the old version. The old version I would rate a 5.
I really appreciate this app Matthew Henry is my all time favorite when it comes to commentaries. His work sure helped when writing a dissertation for a doctorate degree I hope everyone enjoys this app as much as I do...God bless one and all

App freezes and closes after a few seconds of opening and strolling. Please fix
🤔 this edition is loaded with informative extras....
I love the thoughts but when scrolling down in the chapter it is easy to lose your spot because the page flips into the next chapter

Down loaded the app yesterday. Have not had enough time to use it to see all the features, but so far, I like it.
Like the app, the screen time expires rapidly which is a dislike.

This app is easy to navigate. It is user friendly in terms of the icons being easy to understand. There are lots of options like dark mode and highlighting among others. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is I cannot for the life of me figure out how to toggle between the Bible and the Commentary. Probably a user issue more than an app issue.
