Have used Gypsy tours for 2 drives now (Haleakala and Road to Hana) and can't recommend enough! Great history, recommendations, and very entertaining. Headed to big island next and already downloaded that tour. Will be looking for a tour anytime we travel from now on.
We used this app on our second trip up and back from the summit. It was loaded with information we never knew or would have known now without this app. Mahalo for such great work on this.
The Maui Haleakala app was helpful. BUT it would be great if the audio tour continues even with the app in the background. I wanted to use my phone camera to take photos. But every time I left the app, the tour would stop playing. Music players like Play Music or Spotify simply keep playing in the background. It would be good for your Android GPS tours to do this too.
Good info on the way up to the summit. Makes the drive down actually enjoyable. Recommended.
We would have been wandering aimlessly on country roads in Maui without this app. It functions flawlessly and actually surprised me with the accuracy and timeliness of the GPS triggered narration and directions. This is an amazingly well designed app. Worth so much more than the 5 bucks it costs. Other apps require in-app purchases and don't offer the depth of narration this one does. Can't say enough good things about it, really!

This couldn't be any more perfect. The narrator gave great details. We got some history along the way as well as a little volcanic geology. The tips & pointers on what to see & where to go on this route were spot on. We could stop when we wanted to & not on some expensive tour bus schedule. All in the comfort & privacy of our rental SUV. My travel companions & myself will be repeat customers for other adventures.
