After waiting for weeks I guess the devs are in hiding . Was loving the game and would like to see more but I am stuck. It doesn't allow me to enter any name.. there is no "ok" or "done" button. There have been others who have commented on this too. Hope you guys fix it soon so we can continue the game
I didnt get to play the game. I just downloaded it earlier. For some reason it keeps daying connecting to server. Never connects. I dont know whats going on none of my other games are messing up. Only this one. Maybe if it starts working ill rate it better but as for now im done with this bs.
I was ready to click 5, but deep down the windows of my soul I knew. I knew I was a liar, after several deep hours of crying in my pillow, I just had to admit the truth. 4 stars was all I could bare to give this game, the energy system ruined my life due to wanting to play stuck with enteral board waiting for me to get more. Then the gem system is horrible giving you repeats and the gem vendor is a scammer who steals all your cards. I oringally wanted to give this game 3 stars, but It's unfair
This game is absolutely brilliant in that it combines the classic random elements of ccgs with innovative mechanics that give you much more control over the randomness, making it the most strategic/skill based ccg I've played to date. It's loads of fun and has great art and unique character classes, play styles, and mechanics. Sadly, however, the game only has a dev team of two. They are doing all they can, but sadly it's just barely enough to keep the game from going completely under.
Campaign for Mavens have battles where it's in the AIs favor. Lose too many of these in a row? Your gems, the buy with real money currency, disappear into the void. At first I liked it because of the rpg-esque battler with cards, but then the issues came forth. Losing the real money currency, and the lack of choosing a target for the abilities. If this is up your alley, awesome you'll like it. Just be prepared to throw money into the void when you lose matches.
Mavenfall is a free-to-play turn-based CCG strategy game. And speaking as someone who has played a plethora of other free CCG/TCG games, this is one of the fairest systems. There's an energy system, but if you play in the Arena mode after you get promoted to a new league your energy bar is refilled. I've been playing for about five hours, three of which were consecutive and I've never had a situation where I've dipped below half energy, let alone run out. Having the energy system at all is a bit weird, but as a whole it feels a bit like Hearthstone weirdly enough, in that it's not Pay-2-Win really, more like Pay-2-NotGrindAsMuch. But I feel like there's enough of a reward system with missions, daily rewards, the adventure mode, leveling your characters and advancing through Arena that I don't feel like I'm fighting tooth-and-nail just to get myself a competitive team. At the end of the day, it's a great game to try-out and I would highly recommend it. Really easy to pick up, but you'll find it hard to put it back down. :)
But I need y'all to update it for zte max pro I can't even type in my name bcuz it won't let me turn back to hit continue obviously its a bug issue plz fix / also seems to be slow at times fyi
The deck-building mechanic is pretty neat, but the battles don't have a lot of variety once your team is filled out. Also not recommended for kids given that some card packages are >$100.
Playing game enjoying it. Had a battle just now and kept hitting Invisable opponents. My opponents cards did not state anything about summoning ghosts/wasting my turns. Very annoying glitch, please fix.
I love this game! It feels more strategic than other games on the play store and is a nice change of pace. The game runs a bit slowly though and I've only just started, so it doesn't feel p2w... yet. Still, all in all a good game.
Started the game 3 times already, after the tut, it just get stuck shut down and wont let me enter the game anymore
There is some kind of problem with LG G4 with the name in put the key board covers the ok button to accept the name.
I really like the game how ever the in game client could use some work. I think it just needs some tweaks to make It work smoother.
It was a great game until fairly recently it will not connect to the server. Which is a shame too since this was one of my favorite mobile games.
Its unique gameplay, and have a good graphic with a lot of things make me want to explore about this game, i will recommend this game to my friends, i hope you can update more adventure stage
It's so hard to find a unique game that's fun on the store anymore. This is it. Not too P2W. Great game play. Very easy to learn. I docked a star only because of several minor crashes and they need to upgrade the server...game loads slow at times. Looking for something new? This game is worth a shot.
So far so good. Game plays fun. A very smidge of load time. Strategy is fun for me and luck of the cards so its a fun win win for myself.
Not really a P2W actually and it's playable again with only a few cons, which you can live with and still having fun while at it.
I can understand that some people have problems here and there, but so far my gameplay experience has been absolutely amazing this game is simply perfect for me...maybe few new cards for mavens we already have but other than that it's perfect
Great game with tons of depth once you figure basics. Easy to earn new heroes and gold, not money grabby. Keep this game alive! Update 8-16-16, Game just stopped working for me today. I finally purchased $10 started pack and it refuses to load now. It crashes back to home screen on my LG and Nexus 7. Please update! 8/25/16...still crashing and hoping for update to fix.
Great game, unique idea. A few bugs, some vague game mechanics are the only things I disliked about the game. It's addictive and so far I haven't spent any money and it's still fun.
It was fun at first but the pay to win aspect kicked in really fast
Recently having a glitch on my zte. It keeps closing on its own before I can get into a match. Until this is fixed I have to give low stars.
If you like card battle games, this one takes it to the next level. It is fun and you can play how you want with the characters you get. It is at least a must try game.
WTH guys, most of my games lately is defeat because my enemy can't connect but it's my lose?! 😑. Now i'm having a bad time connecting to every battle or opening the app itself. Srsly , i have a great connection with internet and tried other apps and works perfectly but the Mavenfall, nah. Pls fix . and also hope another game like this but offline genre
Really good. Haven't spent a dime and I have a pretty good team. Willing to spend money for fun not necessity.
Fun game. Easy to understand. Not much p2w which is great, keeps things on a fair playing field.
Maven Fall combines turn based rpg elements with a collectible card game. Great fun. I love how unique the Mavens are. The story mode was very short and I would love for an expansion to be created. The deck customization is on point really allowing for a unique PVP experience. The game is simple but allows for the creation of complicated combos. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for a nice competitive strategy game.
