As of 9/23/2019, the problem of deleting other paired devices from your phone(LG G7) still exists. Otherwise it's ok. If not for this issue, this would be a decent enough tool to use, but having to re-pair all of my bluetooth devices is such a hassle that I will not be using or promoting amd selling this tool until it gets resolved.
Complete failure. This app is required to interface to the AP200 OBD scan tool, but cannot establish vehicle connection after bluetooth pairing - tried on two different Android devices. Flaky and unreliable. Very disappointed.
This app just blatantly does not work at all, I can't register an account in the app, and I can't login to the account i created on your website, so this scanner i bought is essentially useless, also it unpairs all devices from your phones bluetooth(which is a horrible feature). Fix the app and I'll update this review.
I wish i had done my homework and read reviews before purchasing this device. This app deleting my other Bluetooth devices was not the frustrating part. Being very tech savvy and not being able to get this thing working is what erks me. To cut to the chase here are the issues i faced. Deletes all other Bluetooth devices from your phone I connected successfuly to device via Bluetooth but in-app setup says "Not connected to VCI" I'm returning this paperweight to Amazon and ordering BlueDriver.
Cannot register. No matter what address, when you try to generate the verification code it says "send email exception". Same thing on iOS. It's not the same account that you use to log into the main Autel website, either.
Bought this off of ebay from the autel store. hooked it up, paired it to my phone, it said it had a firmware update so I let it do its thing and now it wont connect. Called Autel and I guess they want me to send them the VCI and there going to send me another one.
got this thing at walmart brought it home followed the instructions, downloaded my scanner, scanned it , downloaded the app, installed everything it said only it easnt free like it said! charged me $15 ok whatever? hooked it up in my truck, went through the features and hmm ok looks good, next day plugged it in and nope it says not compatible with android CPU ARCH 32 BIT and nothing ever since, so not only the $35 to buy it? $15 more for nothing, junk! my bluetooth wont even pair with it.
Have always used autell scantools..and pre sometimes in 2919 it fell into the toilet and never got washed off!!! Used this app religiously then...bam!!? Running correctly it was great!! Whoever's In charge her should fix this or lose your clientele and see how far in life that gets yas!
It's not very good you can't get it to pair with your Bluetooth device no matter which device you tri using its a very poor put together app.
this app works on 32 bit processor phones but unfortunately you cant do advanced service functions like it says on the HT200 package so your better off buying an IPAD and using the HT200 dongle with that.
Bluetooth bug really needs to be addressed. I see everyone else also has all their paired devices vanish.
Every time you open the app, you lose all bluetooth connections to other devices. Has there been a fix for this?
With the new update u can't use it because says something about main app being a different version and it's probably because I joined beta g It one if them so they don't match since the other one doesn't have beta
Why there is no app update for Android 6.0? Three year old tablet and I cannot use the newest maxiap200?????
No misfire data my phone android app ht200 is way better on my opinion downloaded this on my Samsung galaxy tablet think in I'd have a better experience than with my Motorola e6 but I was sadly mistaken
Tried this app on samsung tab a (2019 version) tablet, won't connect Bluetooth to ap200 VCI. Pretty much useless.

bought vci, loaded app, won't open. uninstalled app and will be returning vci. don't waste your time or money!

This program just crashed on me.
blanks all my Bluetooth. have to set everything up else i own as new every time i dare to use this app. just wipes all previous Bluetooth connections. thought my radio in my truck was broken, then the speaker out back, then i realized that every time i open this app it causes these issues. i am on a Verizon pixel 2, maybe it's not like this for all phones. good luck.
