Now seems better but not so hot on playback on android. Keeps going off and getting a blank screen. It's also difficult in playback as it often does not move. You can try moving forward but it doesn't move. It's also difficult pinpointing something it goes too far the sections need to be larger.
Take note - poor ui, hit and miss to view live feeds - adding same device multiple times, displaying the feeds, 4g lucky to even get a live feed whole point of the app would be yo remotely view it, device always disconnecting sometimes, incredibly slow on loading, slow feeds. App needs to be simplified and optimised. This app is horrid. i have now remived it and purchased hikvision sorry maxxone
Freezes and skips on live imaging and playback. Difficult to operate settings especially the notifications. I have a professionally installed good cctv system but the images are not that clear on the app.
Overall the service is good as it allows me to check that mum's ok but sometimes the signal drops and that can be frustrating. Of course that may have more to do with Mum's internet than the App.
App can sometimes be slow to load. The main issue though is that the UI is pretty appalling. Help screen is absolutely no help at all. Get rid of the jargon and use language that the layperson can understand.
the app is great the only reason it's slow in connecting to live stream is that the app starts off in hd viewing mode so change the mode to clear then it will work smoother for those who have low upload speed that's from the home hub have difficulty viewing on the go as streaming to your phone doesn't require a massive download speed but upload from dvr side is very important minimum 5 megabytes for decent streaming off 4g
App on Android A70 now very slow to load live cameras, and once the images have loaded they just hang! This app used to be great, never had a problem. Strangely, the app on my iOS iPad is running fine. Come on Maxxone get this sorted!!
Used to work fine on mobile phone in the house and away from home, now all it says is offline, tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still the same. Works OK on the TV but its absolutely useless at the moment, was waiting to see if new update required but so far nothing. Not been able to use for months now
Became very frustrated and spent ages testing the wifi and connected devices only to find its the Maxxone app that is at fault. Read other posts and it appears that all Maxxone are doing is apologising for the inconvenience caused and to contact their support team. Can anyone inform users of an alternative better reliable app than this one.
update doesn't work. The previous version worked fine now it opens but closes just as quickly not good. please fix it. what good is a security system if you can't check your cameras. THANKS FOR THE FIX UPDATE. ITS WORKING GREAT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Poor to date. Probably nothing to do with equipment, more likely to do with installation. Constantly going off line. Guys who installed equipment have failed to return and resolve our problems dispite our requests.
Sometimes slow to load even when connected to wifi. Also no idea how to download files on the app. Would be useful to be able to send images/clips.
it's not working why does it keep crashing on me and why change the function of zoom...its in a different menu to the moving buttons for the PTZ so you have to come out of a function to go in another to zoom.
since update this app is not receiving live stream and delay to view i have tried deleting last catch and still not responding i think I considering delet this app and go with different types of app as this you can't fix it fast enough.
since the update the app is freezing all the time playback is also a nightmare dont see the point of an app if it isnt working right not good for security when away!
it is better than before, but can you try making it better specially when seeing the motion notifications, instead of going back and forth, make it simultaneously. thank you.
I have to constantly switch off wifi to try and reconnect. The new app update does not work as good as before.
It's lovely clear picture, gives a sense of safety should the worst ever happen, my only concern is that with the frequent updates having to reinstall the account is a bother.
The app itself is ok but much cheaper systems allow you to log in and view without port forwarding, so my basic system in our holiday home is much better with access from anywhere
App looks Ok but issue is camera using motion sensor enabled to notify. Here every time sunlight changes or gets shadows its sending notification. Unable to understand how do we fix this
It used to be great but now its too slow and it doesnt show motion notifications without it the app is pretty much pointless.
no issues with this system works great night turns to day. crystal clear pictures even when out and about checking up on my phone.
rubbish nothing but trouble since the update still slow on 4g still not as good as before the update really disappointed. Brought a different make for my other system and its 10 times better than maxxone
Not being able to stream Live feed is due to Internet connection, and not down to the app. However sometimes you do have to go and select the camera again, for it to show any recorded feed. Would like the application to stream flawlessly on lesser speeds, as you can't always get a decent connection, when you are out.
