The apps suppose to make our lives easier but it's exactly the opposite. I have registered secure2u twice!! Everytime when I want to transfer money, I never get the push notifications and I need to keep trying and it will ask me to register the secure2u again!! Does it mean I need to keep re-register for every transaction? This is ridiculous
Everything was so good but recently after update it requires me to re-register the secure2U but when i click into it, it just lead back to main page. I cannot transfer money out for many days..please fix it *Update: I managed to solve it by myself by disable the Secure2U from browser and enable it again from App. Sadly there wasnt any guide on this. A newer problem arise that the finger print prompt login tab seems glitchy...keep pop out and dissappear when I try to put on my fingerprint.
faced difficulty to transfer money via online transfer. By using the app, the secure verification wasn't been send eventhough I've tried for so many times. Tried to install MAE app but in vain as the phone didn't support. Same goes with attempt to transfer using web. This makes thing difficult for me especially when it's urgent. I can no longer do online transfer. Calling Maybank hotline also can't get through. Sent email but no respond to the issue. Only get the automated reply.
It was all good until recently, when I tried to transfer money to others, and the web/app requires secure verification. On web, trying to secure verify in app will fail due to multiple login. On app, the secure verification just doesn't show up and I can't go back to side menu without cancelling the pending transaction. I simply cannot do any transaction online anymore. Looking at other comments, it seems like this issue has been there for a while. This is unacceptable.
Did the transaction many times but wasn't able to receive the TAC or MSOS. Last time I called, the Customer Service blamed the Mobile Carrier. You can't rely on this bank if you have urgent transactions. Issue gone after rechecking. Wasn't sure what fix solved my problem. It could be the carrier, the app itself, or the messaging app. You must use your phone's default messaging app. Tried every suggestion from the internet and I haven't noticed that my problem is already gone. Sorry Maybank!..
Update: To those having secure2u issue, i downloaded MAE app to resolve the issue. Jeez we need two app just to manage an account for a single bank... Secure2u doesnt even work, even manually pushing the secure2u in menu doesnt do anything. Tested everthing and given all permission (even need mic WTH??) Literally one of the WORST app ever made
Both new website and old website will force the user to use secure2u on this stupid app. But when open the app, other logged account in browser will automatic logged out. When using app to transfer money, very not user friendly, so confusing. These were happens for so many times since months ago and still not fixed yet. The worst banking experience in my life. Currently opening other personal account with other bank. Good bye Maybank.
after update, i cannot make transaction to 3rd party. said i will receive push notification based on secure2u. but never recieve.i have to cancel transaction and tried to set again the secure2u. but cannot do that, nothing happen everytime i click secure2u option. please check the apps.. everyone here also complain the same thing. must be something wrong with the app.
That annoying logout notification. When I make a transaction thru the web and notifies me thru the app for authorization, i ALWAYS get the "you have been logged out" message. Then I couldnt find the authorisation message or the notification and usually i have to redo the transaction again. Where do you keep the all pending "authorize transactions" ? This should be a basic feature right? Edit 20.4.2022 The response given by the developer is a canned response, which fails to understand the prob.
Your Secure2u option tab is broke! I cant complete transfer transaction because my device have never receive any push notification. The secure2u tab displays nothing. Shambles app, financial transaction should be easy and stress free when you push everyone to use your proprietary app for any transaction.
In order to transfer money, first I need to update the app. So i tell the other people, let me update my maybank app. Oh, the wifi network dont allow me access google play store. I use my own internet then, oh no, i am inside a tunnel, so my line is very bad, how to update? So, I cannot transfer money despite I have the app. This is extremely troublesome, and there is no secondary method to transfer my money already.
I'm using 2017 android 7.1.1 which i purchased pre-love..everytime i launch the app, a pop up will come up stating my device is rooted please fix the issue etc..i can't register the device to get secure2u approval..what can you help me? (Update : Problem solved, security apps that comes with the phone needs to be partially disabled.)
Secure2u doesn't work. Have tried live chat for help but no reply . Tried deregister and re register secure2u but still doesn't work. Very frustrating. Please resolve your app issues because many users having similar problems.
Whats a funny application? It's said please active your screen lock, when I'm done active, cannot receive the pop-up messages to transfer. I dunno lah, why making a application that can make a suffer things if u can make it more easy for user. From website until application always make a trouble things with the reason " security first ". LoL. If the star have 0.1 rate, I will rate your application with that rate.
After i missed to screenshot or send share the receipt after one transfer transaction through the m2u apps, where i can get to see and download the receipt back? Why still need use the website.? But you prefer us doing all transfer transactions are in the apps. Very sad. But you want to discontinue the old m2u website. The new website also don't have m2u history and there are no link to reprint a receipt.
Worst experience. SMS/tac approval was fine and then maybank just had to create this stupid app for approval. Dont fix something that ain't broken. Constant updates. Can't use without updating. After keying in all the transactions, prompted to update which takes time. By the time I update the approval expired.
slooowest online banking app that I have ever used, ever. Spent more time loading than actually using the app. Not my internet line issue because I got fed up with it and switched to my other mobile banking app, got what needed to be done DONE in less than two minutes.
For those struggling with Secure2u push notification lately, the solution is to uninstall the app and reinstall it, then you can re-register the Secure2u or just use the TAC. I've been struggling to pay via JOMPAY and this is the solution I was given by Maybank. Good luck. 👍🏻
Is there any issue with the app. All balance shown as unavailable. Then keep appearing as a communication error. Very difficult when urgently doing transaction.
Problem occur when maybank force to use m2u apps. Cant do any transaction thru website since need to get secure pin from apps. When go to app, unable also to key in thru website. Today also unable to access the apps. Not user friendly at all. Pls do something!
I think it is a nuisance to keep updating the whole time. You are wasting my time. Can you get off my back n lrt me do my transerd in peace instead of bugging me the whole time. What do you get out of this. Do you think yr updating technology is useful, it is suffocating and a real nonsensical nuisance. UNDERSTAND.
I lost my phone recently. Very inconvenience once i logged into M2u website once they required secure2u from my missing device. Hence need to borrow from other who available when i nee to do transfer. Once you do business, the suppliers & customers thought you giving excuses when i comes to payment and refund. Now i downloaded the apps from other device.
Very poor experience. Suddenly account stated information unavailable. Cannot transfer or receive money. Money transferred also disappear after transaction and didn't reach the receiver account. Customer service also don't want to help.
Very convenient but many issues. First you always have to update the app to use. App does not work otherwise so it's tiresome especially if your phobe is full. I also had issues with the oprions shown at start such as secure2u. You cannot just cancel it you have to go through the whole process, fill the form... it's so annoying
