Here’s what you can do with the Maybank SG app:
•Scan & Pay: Cashless is the way to go. Scan the PayNow QR code and pay to any participating merchants. You can also generate your own PayNow QR code for peer-to-peer transfer via PayNow.
•Quick Transfer: Transfer money instantly to your favourite payees in just 2 taps. You can also personalise your favourite payee icon with their picture so you can easily spot the payee you want to transfer funds to.
•Overseas Funds Transfer: Enjoy same day remittance to Maybank Malaysia
•Bill Payment: Whether you are making payments to a local or Malaysia billing organisations, or to your Maybank or other banks’ credit card bills, bill payment on the new app is so such a breeze now.
•PayNow with Maybank: Use PayNow to send money or pay anyone as long as they have registered for PayNow and link their bank account either to their NRIC/FIN, mobile number or UEN.
•Apply: Instantly open a new savings account via MyInfo. You can also easily submit applications for a new Credit Card or CreditAble online.
•Others: No more browsing thru pages to locate other Maybank apps. They are housed within the same Maybank SG app

Much better. Now users can view estatement for their bills without the need to use physical token to generate otp. Great to know the team take in the feedbacks by users. Would be good if eventually able to implement digital token, but hope it won't be like uob mobile banking app, which need newer version of android to function.
Reinstalled again and restarted my phone but still can't register for secure2u. Kept saying OTP expired when I keyed in seconds after I checked my email. And also there's this very weird notification of "Item already copied to clipboard" popping up whenever I open the app. What the hell is going on? It was working perfectly fine last time but your updates screwed it all up. Why fix something that's not broken??
Called customer service & told officer the error code. Was told backend side didn't detect anything and was advised to download app to try again. Waste of time - didn't work & same error code. Agree with those who posted critical reviews about the bank's mobile app.
I cant login because I forgot my password. So they ask me to reset it. When I try to reset, it says that I'm already an active user and ask me to log in.when I try to log in it says that I need to reset to enter. Such a bad app experience, might consider closing my acc because of this
Yes it still keep on turning and turning so I cannot update it.why is the app become like this?Should I deleted the account seen it difficult for me to open and view my account on the bank.
After the latest update, the app now requires several permissions in order to work. This is totally unnecessary and instead forces customers to stop using it. Hey Maybank app India team - don't ask for unnecessary permissions! Other bank apps don't. And even when they do, their apps still work even when no permission is granted. Better wake up and see what others are doing.
Very troublesome every time got login issues and have to update the app from Google play. App updates should be automatic when I log in using the app instead of every time making me jump hoops to update app and reset password. Poor experience
The refreshed UI is wonderful. However, the most basic is missing. One is unable to automate via standing order or simply pay for a Maybank loan installment from a iSavvy Account when everything is within Maybank itself. Really strange. Digital Mobile Token unable to login Maybank Internet Banking which offers only thr defunct Physical Token or SMS-OTP. Wonder why the digital token otp was created for.
Disabled push notifications, promotional messages still coming in daily. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to disable notifications entirely.
Unable to log in to apps after updating the app. This is the second time happening. Have to go diwn to the bank each time to rectify the problem.
Not user friendly at all. Please keep it simple like other banks.

Very useful app, so far glitch free. After phone upgraded to Android 12, opening n closing the app prompt "Item already copied to clipboard". Android 12 compatibility problem?
Every time it requires an update to use the app, the Google Play has only two options: uninstall and open. How to upgrade it if you don't provide the option?!
Prompted to update app, then there's no update available in playstore. unable to do any transfers. Get your act together.
This update is rubbish. Keep saying copy to clipboard even when i key in ID and Password. I am reporting Maybank to the MAS for security flaw. Play store how could you allow such an app to pass screening! Disappointed
App auto disabled itself and ask to update from Playstore. Went to Playstore and this is the updated version. End up with permanently disabled app.
I read so many negative reviews but I managed to install, login via finger print, activate my debit card, initial transfer from another bank to MayBank, all of it without any problem. So I do not know what's the fuss all about.
After updating, crashed continuously. Time to switch banks! Too much problems since start.
Why do you always force me to update app? Only to find you updated the theme. Today 5 Dec I am forced to update again but now it keeps telling me to update though I have done so. Even after restarting phone. 0 🌟
It is very smooth and quick to do transaction. However i think there is a touch area error when i trying to add paynow payee. The backspace and enter button is affected by the "see how to use". When i just press directly on to the back space or enter, the "see how to use" wording is highlighted instead. I can only use the function backspace inbetween 7 and the backspace. Hope you understand
The Web UI is very functional but extremely horrendous to look at The old app looked insanely bad and functioned terribly on my phone But this, is a very mediocre attempt to do what other Banks are doing well - update their UI. The UI is "modern" with extremely bad implementations. The login isn't password manager friendly. Pictures are stretched like a P1 Presentation Slide. I could just go on
After phone software updated to Android 12, this app keeps showing "Item already copied to clipboard" message when I click to login/logout.
Today very good. No longer asking user to update app. Not slow and ease of use. Keep up!
UI is much nicer/better than the old one but that's about it. VERY buggy and inconsistent. Doesn't work 80% of the time, keeps throwing the error 'We're unable to process your request. Please try again later'.
App is poorly designed, not exactly user friendly as compared to other major banks. Creation of new banking account is complicated and taxing as well, need to visit local branch for the setup if you previously have an account with them.
