MazM: The Phantom of the Opera

this is easily one of the best mobile games I have ever played. very enjoyable. the plot sticks to the original one of the Leroux book, and the few changes that have been made in order for it to be playable and fully understandable are coherent and make sense, the player can easily understand the situations. the audio work is very well done as well and allow the player to really get involved in the game. thanks to the developers for making this game! looking forward to another game like this! :)

I like this game so far although I ran out of adds in the middle of chapter two. Was hoping there would be more choices in gameplay it's more of follow along story. I'm hoping she doesnt end up with Raoul I always hated that in the play & movie. She should be with the Phantom without him she wouldnt have a voice. Also Raoul is just as possessive & pushy hasn't seen her for years while. The Phantom is behind the scenes & is helping her with her career & just wants to see her do well.

This game is amazing, at first I thought it was kinda boring but then love and hatred, suspense and thrill! Everything was mixed into one... I even came to know about the movie, the novel... I wished there was a kiss scene too like in the movie... Anyway, I'm soo obsessed with this story. But hey! Seriously? I wanted a beautiful ending with Erik but... 👀

The game is so interesting and I find it good enough to use ads for playing the game. I do wish you can give more coins through the ads. But overall the game is great and the story is interesting.

Like every MaZM game, this game is so much fun. I love the art, the story is gripping, it's a great adaptation of the original source. The only Issue I have with this app is how much battery it drains.

Loading was a big issue at first but honestly, it doesn't even matter that much to me. I love MazM's games so much and all the one's i've played have been thoroughly enjoyable, especially this one and the Jekyll and Hyde Visual Novel

I can't watch the ad, it gives out as if there is no available advertising, but there are attempts to view it. Wi-Fi works very well at the same time.

Every time I try to watch an ad, it says that no ads are available. I've been struggling with this for a few weeks now and I'm getting sick of waiting to try and play the next chapter :(

I was enjoying the art, story so much but when I want to watch ads to earn tokens (you need tokens to purchase episodes) it says no ads available! Pls fix

Great adaptation of the original novel with its own twists that give it a fresh take. I recommend this to any phan, especially those of Leroux/Erik!

Absolutely amazing. Everything from the graphics and ads to the pacing of the story is just perfect. I also like how everything is very to easy to navigate. (Also the art is just...omg i shd stop shouldn't I) The only thing: there are a few grammar and spelling mistakes here and there. Nothing too disruptive though! (P.S. I've played some of your other games, and this is still my favourite so far.)

The controls in this game are really smooth, the story overall is great, and there where no issues. The artwork is magnificent, I really hope to see the same artistyle in MazM furture games. The music and the sound affects was very lovely and spot on. Everything that showcase in the description in put in the game. I would definitely rate this as one of my favorite games and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a perfect game. Everyone who work on this game thank you. (≧∇≦)👌

This game is amazing. That's untill the second chapter, when you want to start the second chapter you have to use in-game tokens but that can be done by ceiling special apps. The thing is, when I try to load the ad it doesn't work and always tells me to try again later. But other than that, the app's really great! The plot, the gameplay and the artstyle! They are beautiful <3 I just hope they fix the ad bug.

I Love the plot so far and overall experience! The story is intriguing, the footnotes are fun to collect, and as someone who can play for free by watching ads to aquire coins to "buy" each episode with, I can enjoy the entirety of the plot/gameplay without having to use real money I don't have to enjoy the more interesting aspects of the game! This I really appreciate. The gameplay, though a bit limited, allows for full explorations, and you can even use the coins to buy parts of the gallery!

The game has an amazing storyline and the art style was just incredibly perfect for the story, the game is much better than their previous game, MazM: Jekyll and Hyde. But I will have to say that after the protagonist(s) or antagonist(s) are done talking the screen freezes for a brief moment. But all things aside this is an a mazing game be sure to play.

I love the idea of this game and I cant wait to play more of it. The only problem I see is that when you hit ads it tells you there is no ads which leads me to this. How do you earn coins to purchase episodes if the ads aren't running, (that the issue with when I hit ads.) Other then that I'm loving the game. (So, that problem I mentioned is either a poor connection on my part or a glitch either way sorry 4 any confusion this caused)

Amazing game! I loved every bit of it, the story will keep you motivated to play, the illustrations and the music won't disappoint you! While I enjoyed the game in general, some chapter episodes were too long which make the game's transition slow, however that aside everything is good and the plot kept me thrilled. Overall I recommend the game and I can't wait for more releases!

I'd highly recommend this charming visual novel adaptation! It has beautiful artwork, many details to click and explore, and the feature of collecting footnotes to learn about historical references was really interesting, too. Some of the minigames were a tad repetitive (eg. a memory sequence game every single time you open a secret door), and others were kind of pointless (eg. tapping on a door once to "knock"), but overall it was a very fun and immersive way of experiencing the story. 9/10

Visuals, music, and plot are all good! Except I can't watch ads anymore and I have a wifi connection. I do restart it and get a strong signal but when I wanted to watch my 3 daily given ads to get the coins, it'd say it can't connect. Otherwise, good game. Though fix that ad problem if you can. If not, then I'll have to stop playing this great game altogether.

I am still on Chapter 2 but I'm being carried away too much! I love the character design, the plot and the way that the 'Phantom of the Opera' is a character much more different than what I've usually been encountering. Sad thing is I have to watch 3 ads on a daily basis to continue on reading the whole novel, would be better if it was capped to a limit of 5 or 10 so that it doesn't ruin the momentum of some readers/players.

I LOVE THIS GAME! IT'S SUPER ADDICTING! When I first got this game, I couldn't stop playing it!! However, I hate how you have to "puchase" the episodes with the silver tokens. And sometimes, the ads don't load. I hate how you have to wait for the daily three ads. But otherwise, it is an amazing game based on the book and I recommend this game to everyone I know!!

Really love the art style and the immersive story. The little bits and scripts of information on the history and other acts that inspired the play is also fascinating. The ability to be able to continue to play through by the ad based system seems to be sustainable and you don't need to watch 5 000 ads for 5 min of game play, as is the case with most games) and the quality story line is unmatched. I will definitely support the developers future endeavors!

This game is very interesting and keeps me entertained for quite awhile each session I play. I like interacting with the characters and switching roles as the story progresses. The graphics and artwork is beautiful and the music is relaxing and exciting at times. This game is awesome, fun to play, and the story is brilliant. I paid for the package that includes all the chapters which costed about $20 but it's worth it if you don't like watching too many ads or needing to collect coins.

I personally loved the game, and it seemed quite interesting but I had one major issue, after playing chapter 1, I wasn't able to see any ads as it kept saying that I wasn't connected when my wifi connection was fine. Due to this, I had no way of playing chapter 2. I tried to delete and download the app again, but it just deleted all my progress and the issue prevailed. If anyone can tell me how I can fix this, it would be of great help, but over all, great game

Just finished Chapter 1 and the story along with the arts and mostly everything looks amazing so far. One thing tho... One of the premise that kept this game free is we'll still be able to see Chapter 2 to 5 by watching ads, but the button to watch the ads kept on failing on me. It kept on saying Connection Failed over and over again despite my stable and fairly decent connection. Well I guess I'll just have to try again and reinstall when the full game released. A faithful adaptation of the novel, created with all the love and attention to detail this story deserves. I stumbled upon it by pure chance, and it deserves SO MUCH MORE support! I can only recommend this game for all. The story itself is taken seriously, but it's also FUN and the sprites are both beautiful and insanely cute! My only issue, perhaps, is that the controls can be somewhat clunky, but this is a visual novel first and foremost, so that doesn't tarnish the experience at all!

A good game, but I wished some parts were fixed. I really enjoyed how the story was adapted. I really enjoyed the point and click aspect of the gameplay. The only issues I have with this game is how Christine makes her decisions in the story and no chance in helping Erik. It would have been nice and interesting if there was alternate route in helping Erik some way.... The ending was just too heartbreaking, especially reading Erik's final letter. Also, adding Melek to the story was pointless.

The game playing experience is amazing (I must say for as much I have played as of now) but there has been an issue lately. Initially I could load advertisements every day and play as much as would be supported but since the past few days, there are no ads available at all (it shows 0). I usually play around the time when ad limits are refreshed for the day yet due to this problem I am not being able to continue the story. I hope to get some help to solve this. P.S. the internet speed is stable

A pity seeing such nice artwork for a game that looks more like an interactive story. I got really frustrated when each time I touched the screen to explore an area, a new dialogue session would start, and then another, and then another... There is definitely an imbalance between story and gameplay here, but there is also potential.

An interesting, although not completely successful attempt at bringing the classic novel to life. Character design is intriguing, however there is an overuse of sound effects during conversations which is mostly unnecessary. I will add more to this as I complete the game but it is an interesting work.
