great, but could use some improvements. for example, it would be nice if the history page for each train went back longer than two weeks- being able to set it to month, 2 months, or some time period would he great. also, the ability to set notifications for reports for a particular train or train(s) would be awesome. as it is, though, this app is still awesome.
Great app, but I just upgraded my phone to the OnePlus 7T Pro and the text in the boxes on the app is now truncated. Can there be a font size option? I can no longer see the last number of the train or the last few characters in the status screen. I tried changing to compact, but had the same issue
Still a great app, but buggy. New version doesn't update when opened, seems to have more trains not reporting, often toggles different train when checking details, and has trouble telling which trains have departed. Still worth the money, but it seems the "improvements" were more little gimmicks like cute icons on messages and not substance.
Updated: v2.9.1 works for me now! Thank you so much!! Older version: Not connecting to internet. No data loading. Running Android 4.4.4 with Droid Maxx. Still not working for me after v2.9.0 update. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Tried Wifi only and mobile data only. Checked that permissions included network access. (Legacy version still works for me though.)
I've had this app since it was free since 2013. One of the most useful apps out there that I use to inform Lowell passengers where the next train is. Makes lives easier for everyone. Recommend everyone has this app ($2 is nothing. Support this creator, makes our lives easier!!), especially with the new turn style ticket checking system coming soon in the summer, so you know the track ahead of time. 510 Lowell represent -AznAntx
Incredibly helpful. A must have for any commuter rail rider. Absolutely essential. Would love to see an option to push system notifications for specific trains, for example if it is delayed, or when the track is announced
Normally a fantastic and straightforward app but it's not showing real time updates for station stops. Still, love this app. Update 8/25/21: Still not showing real time location updates some times for train 839 - South Station to Providence. Checking again now on Sept. 10 and train 839 still doesn't report arrival times. Says "This train is not reporting it's location."
I never write reviews but this app is lifesaver if you ride Commuter Rail. The chat is very helpful (and sometimes really funny) and the new version allows you to set a home station. It just keeps getting better! Great job!
This app is perfect, unbelievable that it is not affiliated with the MBTA based on the information, features and adoption of riders. get real time information on trains, live map, chat with other riders, this app is legit. I had the earlier free version and happily upgraded, worth the buck and more!
The free version was better, on the new version you can not see the track info. It says boarding on track but the number is not visible. Not very helpful☹️
this guy is the real hero. if the mbta were run half as well as this third party app, we wouldn't need this third party app. great upgrade, well worth the cost. this app keeps the trains running and gets commuters the information they need to make the right decisions.
This app changed my life. Dropping off and picking up my daughter at the mbta train station is so much less frustrating and stressful with great visibility into the train actual location and projected schedule.
Longtime user, first time reviewer. This app is the bees knees (yes, bees have knees) and is a must have for anyone using the Boston commuter rail. I only wish that I could donate a couple bucks! Give me a little icon next to my name when I report something? That'd be a neat little thing for a donation feature :)
Crazy helpful. It's one app I use just about daily, and the app developer is very responsive on the odd occasion a bug is found.
My favorite MBTA CR tracking app! It's everything the T is not: reliable, functional, accurate, fast, and a joy to use.
While I appreciate the larger font size, it doesn't fit on my Samsung Galaxy S7 screen. I uninstalled and will use the old version.
New version was crashing on launch but reinstalling seems to have fixed it. Thanks for reaching out, Eric!
I could not commute without this incredible tool! It helps me plan, and keeps me informed with precision and reliable information.
This app helps us all figure out what's going on with the T on any given day! chances are it's late or broken down, but at least this app tells us (and it works!)
Clean simple interface tells ne what I need to know. Rider reports an excellent substitute when "train is not reporting its position."
Crashing issue fixed, cool app. Could we get a way to view the schedule on certain days? That'd be nice.
This app has helped me quite a bit. From talking to fellow riders, trying to give out info to other pax's waiting for the train I'm on and its whereabouts <> great app.
Really an amazing app. Much better than anything the MBTA has. They really need to hire you!!
FANTASTIC... really improves you odds of boarding before the MBTA gets around to admitting which train you need to be on.
If there are maps, I couldn't find them. No maps makes this app useless for me.
Greenbush line has major significant delays daily. I notice Plymouth a n d Middleboro have far less. Always Greenbush!! MBTA Rail (keolis) and the MBTA, in general, SUCK. no discernible customer service, standing room only at Wey. Landing stop, and they expect us to pay after long delays.
Easily the most useful app for anyone using the commuter rail.
This is, hands down, the BEST app for regular commuter rail riders.
Love this app. Let's me keep track of the trains way better than the MBTA website ever has.
I've been using the other version for years and it's worth at least this much. I'd love to see an option that list times for your stop, not just the initial departure time when listing trains.
