MBTA Tracker

Good app. It's very useful. Accurate arrival times. My 1 criticism (I'm not sure this can be fixed) is that busses may go out of service or change routes at the end of the line. System cannot predict this. So you're wating for the 441 to arrive. It's 3 minutes away, then 2 minutes, then 1. You see it arrive, passengers deboard, the bus turns off, disappears from the system. This is likely only a problem at the end of the line which is a major stop (Oak Grove, Braintree, Alewife)

I'm sorry I didn't rate this earlier. I love this app. It complements Google maps beautifully, by giving the latest real time best estimates of bus arrival times at every stop. I appreciate the map view as well. I'm so much more comfortable taking the bus with more confidence that I won't be waiting outside so long. Now the downside: Since the latest update on March 3 or 4, many of the screens are very nearly unreadable. I'm on Android 9 or pie, not 10 for which it was updated.

Real-time predictions for buses are not always completely accurate because of traffic fluctuations, but as good as you could hope for. Plus all the schedules are easy to access through multiple paths. Really allows you to efficiently use your time when commuting. I highly recommend this app for T-riders (both bus and subway - not sure about commuter rail since I don't ride it).

Pretty good app. I get that it's only as good as the data available from the T, so you can only count on accuracy within about 5 minutes. My biggest beef is that when you look at a specific station and scroll to, for example, the southbound trains, then check again in like 2 minutes, the app relocates itself to show you the northbound trains. This has led me to run for a train i thought i had plenty of time to catch (see inaccuracy, above) only to find that i was looking at the wrong direction.

This is a fantastic app. Makes coordinating with my wife really easy. My only issue is that when selecting between Southbound/Northbound orange lines the map no longer appears to filter down and shows all the trains. Makes the map very cluttered and causes problems selecting specific trains.

This is the most convenient MBTA tracker app! Arrival time is very accurate and sometimes even better than Google Maps. Once you'll add all buses and T like stations to Favorites, you can quickly check arrival times and choose the most convenient way to ride 👍. It doesn't plot a route, but if you know a bus number or a T line station, it's really convenient to check arrival times.

Best MBTA Tracker in YEARS! It is accurate down to the second on buses, and that has never been the case on other apps. Adding stops to Favorites is an amazing feature! Don't take this app away from folks, please...you really have something good here! It is better than any info they provide on their site 🤗! I tell ppl about this app all the time!

Update(10/5/2020): Now have ads👎🏾 They're not every second like some apps but can be annoying. Still a great app!! Starting shopping around for a new app after problems with NextBus. It took some getting use to the setup, but I really like it👍 I told a friend about and she likes it too!

Just got it today but it worked beautifully. I really like the interface and the fact that we can see the buses (triangle) live through the map. I also like that we can add stops to our home screen. So far so good. Will update when i've spent more time with it.

The only problem i have with this app is that it does not have full MBTA bus schedule. By that i mean the printed MBTA bus schedules that are available at some busy stations showing bus departures from the first to the last bus. So, as an example, if i want to find out all bus departures for bus # 57 out of Kenmore station this app does not have it !

Accurate and reliable. I count on this app almost daily. The only time there is an issue is when a bus doesn't have their GPS turned on or when the MBTA feed isn't working.

rarely accurate, often reads, "predictions unavailable." complete waste. Update following developer's reply: six months later is actually worse. Bus was shown as 6 minutes away as it drove past my house yesterday. This morning I made sure to be at the bus stop 8 minutes prior to the prediction and watched the app count down all the way from eight minutes to 24 seconds, then suddenly back to 23 minutes later. Bus came with six minutes left in the second countdown. App is useless. Uninstalling.

It almost always works. More importantly, its better than any other similar app.. no annoying advertisements. No upselling notifications. Just solid application built with the end user in mond. Pretty great all around .UI could b a bit better but i aint losin sleep over it :)

Works great, but downloads over wifi only should be disabled by default. Also... Why is the favorites button in the top left corner? That's the furthest away from the average person's thumb. Not very user friendly lol

Works well, though The UI is a little counter-intuitive. It takes many taps and lots of waiting to see the same few nearby but stops to my home.

Really amazingly accurate, up-to-date, and well done. I can't believe this is a passion project. My 9 year old nephew is a rail fan, and this helps us get photos of every train that passes regardless of distractions :D

Excellent easy to manipulate app...does what a user needs it to do without needing to be a rocket scientist!!

This is the second time i missed a bus because of this app and now im going to be late to work. This dosen't show real time busses at all. Ill still use it for now because some days its accurate probably because it goes by schedule but once again - today it didn't.

Wonderful app, really helped relieve the stress of the morning commute! Hoping the developer adds in the new green line extensions soon.

I think app is worth the download. I would say 98% of the time my bus or train is there just when it said it would be. Very Good App.

Best app I've found, has Wear OS companion! I bought to show appreciation for the watch integration. Makes my commute much easier. Thank you.
