McAfee EMM

My device got snatched i tried to locate it never worked. Then put it on lost mode and lock it. Then after 24hrs checked my account again and in shock my phone is already unlock. Hai.. Bad thing is you cnt even lock it back saying device need to be connected to the server. So alarming. I thought all my details are already safe.

Had to install app to get corporate email. It forces acceptance as device administrator & now requires a complex password to even access my home screen. Also had to download Secure Container (app used to actually view emails) which also requires a complex password. EMM app disables the ability to change any other methods for the lock screen. Need more flexibility with security options for unlock screen.

Dear IT pros: Please don't make your employees deal with this joke of an app. It's simply unusable and ruins mobile email. Worst of all, it doesn't work at all with the new version of Android and McAfee appears not to care. So half your employees won't be able to check email on their phone. This makes me question every security product this "tech company" sells.

iOS and Android both support fingerprint recognition now. Chicken -pecking in a multi character password constantly is tedious, less secure, and wholly unnecessary. Just make it an option. I'd pay a buck for a "pro" version.

Does not work on rooted devices even with superuser disabled. You then have to deactivate as a admin in settings and reboot before you can uninstall.

Not working on this S5 i got and seems to not correctly configure it. Plus all the usual other custoner complaints. Worst app

Does not work with Android 5.0 since gmail is the only email client i have for exchange. Other email clients don't work either. There hasn't been an update since May.

Senario- Corporate user changes workstation/network login password and forgets to change credentials on phone. Issue 1 - User no long get Password change notification on several models of Samsung phones. Password notification has stopped working in KitKat ver 4.4. Mcafee workaround recommendation - Remind users to change password on phones - ???? Issue 2 - Securecontainer spikes CPU cycles and battery depletes rapidly getting phones hot when Securecontainer can’t sync because of new credentials have not been supplied. Issue 3 - Securecontainer does not work on Samsung Mega. Reloads login screen every time credentials are supplied and never loads mail. McAfee workaround recommendation - Engineering will not support device recommended not using SC. Use native client instead. Suspect more issues will pop up with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

twice now this program has locked me out of my phone. Have to wipe it, won't be reinstalling any time soon. On a corporate phone.

Functionally is broken when my phone updated to Lollipop. Error message is 'device profile cannot be found'. I reinstalled EMM and the login screen says it cannot find the EMM server.

I renewed my subscription to McAfee. Then the very next day McAfee renewed and charged me at a higher price! Then refused a refund! Their representatives are a bunch of liars, make promises then fail to keep that promise !

My work had me install this App Now, I no longer need it for work and want it off of my personal phone. It will not uninstall no matter what I do. Please Reply with how to get it off of my device. - Samsung Note 3

Please update for Marshmallow OS and allow for it to be uninstalled after deactivating it.

Slowed my phone down to a crawl, caused overheating, could not stand having to use a pin rather than my pattern to unlock. Deleted it and the performance on my Note 4 has been a night and day difference.

Worked for the first week or so with Android 5.1.1 but now unable to connect to the server. Please fix! Otherwise, it works as it should.

It enforces security with decade old pin or password methodologies. Pattern or fingerprint is not supported. Having your smartwatch near cannot unlock the phone neither.

I keep getting the message 'unfortunately container failed to open'.

This is unreal, I can't update an email address on my account, I.called customer support and are very unprofessional and can't provide customer service as well sound very skeptic to give any info to them, they don't seem like a real business

I like MacAfee because it is so simple to use. One you have bought it you can secure all your devices from phones to tablets. it finds you devices and set up all your security for you Great Value and peace of mind hurrah for MacAfee

Wouldn't work. Says unable to locate server

This app on iphones allows users to still use biometrics. Why can't that be so on Android devices too? My finger print is a lot more secure than a pin #. Get with the times and please update this app!

McAfee is pretty terrible in general their products are useless
