McAfee® Security for Metro®

The app is decent, does what it says it does. However, sometimes the real scan will just stop running and the app lock is overwhelming aggressive! I have to put in the password literally every 2-5 minutes. For example, if I go to check texts... I unlock it & I can click a message and read it, but if I hit the back button to go back to my text list I have to enter the app lock password again!!! Same for emails, photos, etc... If I'm using an app why is the app lock running after I've unlocked?

Have Uninstalled, reinstalled, keep getting the fake site. Finally able to leave a feedback form but we'll see where it went. Says device administrator would come up but it never did. Had a code to enter after hitting download but nothing ever came up for e to enter code. When I scanned it went from 1%-4%-41%-51% then said everything good. Didn't scann apps only metroplay. U got big problems!!!

This application worked perfect until the switch. All of my phones have the same error, my email address is associated with a different number. Metro can't help McAfee keeps sending me to Metro. There doesn't seem to be a cell phone department. They keep linking my home devices to my cellular device and I can't use the apps features. This is a horrific experience. You can't get through on the phone.

Pretty great app experience! The app runs well. The only problem is that with AppLock, when you open a menu in the app you have to insert your security number. And half of the time it doesn't give you the option to sign in using your fingerprint. Other than that it works really well and I would recommend it

So far so good. Without this on my android 📱 it runs like 💩 shyt! 1 of very few perks metro offers. I'll keep u posted 🌎. 👍👍 if ur phone is running slow or acting up; & u don't have this app. You must MUST download. It's free. Very well explained & informative. No $, No risk. Lol. But there's always risk on the internet. Period. Great App & Resource.

My wife and I share same Google everything. Both protected by McAfee she has been hacked her phone was pinged for lost or stolen device. Since then she's had several factory reset done by we haven't a clue. I've contacted Metro PCS and Assurant and can't get anyone to fix the problem. My Bank account was compromised along with all Data. Metro refuses to replace both phones and I have insurance plus warranty but in this case I don't feel it's our responsibility. The contract is with Metro.

I had severe problems with NOT being protected and was badly compromised by identity theft from hackers to both my son and I with your or through your app. Your app has actually been taken over and altered by the hacker. I cannot even open it and use its service anymore and it occasionally shows that it's monitoring. I've uninstalled it then reinstalled it and it still doesn't work for me and it's paid for through my MetroPCS serrvice. So, I uninstalled it again. Still running in the background.

It is hard to remember all the codes that is on his app I wish you would make it easier to understand how app works and why it's always trying to say when I forgot my pin you send me another one so it will be a four digit Penny instead of six it's hard to remember all six numbers make it easier to remember send pins in that I surely can understand l

I have had this new phone less than a week & you sent me a email saying I have 23 viruses on my phone & my subscription is over...which is suppose to be free for this phone thru my phone service! Really? Looking for a new security app now.

My phone was severly compromised ut had viruses and was hacked my identity was stolen my accounts were hacked i need help. The app stalls when trying to scan like it freezes then starts up again i know something is wrong. Can i get assistance please??

Keep getting. "contact security team" about my account. What gives. I've stopped getting that message. But following the link you sent I couldn't understand message. I tried to chose message sent to USA/ English. There was no choice there. So only option was to back and edit my review. The McAfee seems to be working. I'm not sure how well it's working. I think it's been updated. Feb 18 22'

I like lookout much better I couldn't understand the macacfee app at all and I always needed to call support for login for what! give me a break! At least with lookout it's easy to understand explains all the kinds of virus' easy to move around the app and very understandable to the regular person who may not know or understand the terminology of the protection they are getting thank you lookout for being my best!

Good to have a sense of security,but I find some aspects of setting up a bit daunting & difficult to understand what I need to do.

How in sam hell do I get rid of the stupid icon that just hovers over my screen in gost mode?? I hate it being there, it's distracting and no matter what I do, it's forever in my way!! I completely loathe it, especially because it doesn't even do anything, not even open the app!! Make it go away!! 👿😡

Login was cumbersome and afterwards it wasn't clear what to do next. It kept looping me up with login process for every activity.

Garbage. Says my number isn't a metro number. Been with metro for years. At least that's $7 I can knock off my bill when I cancel this service

Can't use the ID theft part of app. Says something went wrong and to call for assistance. But I Been On hold for over 1 hour What

Switched to a new phone and it just says error and closes out. It doesn't work on my new phone

same problem as everyone else, doesnt recognize my number. I've been with MetroPCS for YEARS and was actually proud to admit it. I've always had awesome service and at a very reasonable price. I was really happy with Lookout, worked great and never gave me problems. Lately, I've been having more and more trouble with service, and now the issues with the security change... seems like the switch from MetroPCS to Metro by T-Mobile ruined what, in my opinion, was one of the best carriers I've seen.

Really had high hopes for this since it is from my cell phone provider but the app will close on it's own and accessibility turns off. So when I open it back up, I have to keep turning Accessibility back on. Defeats the purpose of having it work in the background and protect my device when it closes on it's own. Every time I try to chat for help, a human isn't available. Update: Mcafee is set to Not Optimize and I do not have any battery saving apps running but it still turns off.

Works much better than what I was using previously. Plus I can take care of excess memory usage with this app. However, I've recently discovered two flaws. One is having a hard time remembering setup. The other being signing me up for premium protection without my consent. Only wanted the free version.

Frustrating at times 😲 This app is good for the most part. My number one issue that I have with this app is the number of times you need to unlock each screen before you can get into it which makes using multiple screens for example (contacts, messages and photos) every time you leave one to go back into the other, the lock screen comes on & you then have to key in your pin number. I suppose I can unlock the apps that I want locked to avoid that issue right?

Still doesnt work 🙄🤔😔 It keeps saying Ooops! Something went wrong while we were setting this up. The it gives the option to try again. It worked the first 3 days and its been doing this same mesaage for the past 2 weeks. It doesnt allow you to uninstall or reinstall either. It has to be deactivated and it doesnt allow to deactivate either.

The version (available to me), is the one that I'm rating. The initial setup was difficult and lacking in clarity of direction. It doesn't auto-start when the phone is booting, and frequently self-terminates after the McAfee program has been manually started. I would resolve these issues, but like I said, "It lacks clarity of direction. If you'd prefer to spend your time deciphering basic installation & directions then this is the program for you, (One worthy of its founders' name).

Sucks and I'm paying for this app I'm going back to corporate.... I can't get intoy ain't theft or the other two things it's saying that my password isn't right or it's not connecting to the server so if you'll wait I've been hacked and I'm sure of it so I'll email you from a new account because they have access to all my Google accounts including this one thank you and I'll contact you ASAP

Not clear if costs extra or free from Metro t mobile plan or extra cost. Should have separate app with metro t mobile in title, saying 3rd party rt price or cost is confusing.

It's nice to know you have one of the best security apps on your phone there is so much sensitive information so one less thing to worry about had no problems works great

The app is very smart & I love the security features it offers,but the ONLY issue I have is that I wish there was an option to disable it while I'm actively using it, because if I'm in a hurry or just browsing stuff I'll have to constantly use my fingerprint to open everything even if I went to another app real quick & it's a bit of a pain. But like I said I love that it protects & secures my phone in case lost/stolen. Please give us the option to turn off!!!

I apologise for the bad review earlier but I had to get someone's attention. I had to go in the apps settings and clear catch and to my surprise I saw the reset app option, now its working but still is an inconvenience and it worries me because I have my whole life and many irreplaceable pictures, videos, emails, messages, and documents. I've already lost important voicemails that I had saved but were erased when it got reset. I have been having problems with Metro PCS since I purchased my phone

After an update to samsung galaxy s20 ultra, your widget no longer shows up on my screen, i have also noticed that the program itself will randomly shut itself off on its own
