McAfee® Security for T-Mobile

Since I conducted the new update. The scan isn't scanning all apps. And the security definitions also not updating. So this app is not working as a result of the update. So I would like to know what the purpose of this security app. And I noticed a change in the free Identity Security services for people involved in hack. The services seemed to have changed. MacFee stated my email could not be found in their system. So it looks like I lost The Tmobile Supervisor was supposed to call me back

This app is not working its not scanning apps like it says it is and it won't up date virus definition it just stopped. My app is flickering like other users. I don't feel i should rate this when it's not working. When it's working it's 4 stars and when it's not it's zero. Zero today. I think the anti virus got a virus. Everything Rachel said is pretty much happening to mine. I don't want to fix this for hours on phone. I have an account u fix it.

This app. Is not scanning for viruses or cleaning other malware on my android. I'm getting all kinds of spams and viruses on my cell. I'm searching now for a better cleaner. And I'm seeing ads 24/7, every second. Pop ups are all over sites and apps I open. It's very annoying. Please fix your cleaner!

Does not work. Works just fine on my iPhone 7. But that device died and I had to get this Android. Won't even get past the introductory screen. You know, T-Mobile is arguably the largest provider of devices and service in the country. And it worries me that they can't even get their flagship mobile app to work. And now this app doesn't work? What's going on here are the wheels about to come off?

I've never successfully opened this app. It says it's verifying that I'm a Tmobile subscriber, which I am. Then it says "Something went wrong, please try again later." This is ridiculous, I've been a Sprint customer, and now Tmobile customer thanks to the merger, since 2002! I have a Tmobile SIM card, and my phone info shows that it is on the Tmobile network. My Tmobile protection app recognizes my phone fine. Your app doesn't work!

Glad I have an antivirus app, but I hate that it keeps shutting off! Two different phones and it constantly does it. Best thing is, is that no one can give me an answer why. Also, forgot that it won't let me sign in completely to the app. Gets to my pin and then crashes.

McAffe at least asks you permission while LookOut Security does not. Two stars for McAfee because does not provide me with full security with the excuse that they need full permission to control my phone and my apps usage data when I pay for unlimited data? Also all I have to do is turn off the App data to control data usage. I also do not like their control of my phone. It is very wrong for them to move my settings or for them to move or delete any apps. I can't trust McAfee they moved settings

I can't get this security application to work it stopped working for over 2 months. I have uninstalled this application so many times, but it keeps turning off. I want to know if I am protected. I also have been having a problem installing any security application on my phone. I am so tired of going through this with this phone. I tried to sign in to McAfee with my email but it says my email is incorrect I have not signed up for a McAfee account with my new number or email.

I would love to contact the 24/7 support advertised but it seems all I get is hung up on. The company is fantastic in closing a trouble ticket in a short period of time. Forget trying 2 contact support by 24/7 phone or chat. Only based on my experiences. All I asked was for support on small business security. Then the phone went quiet. Then was hung up on. I did get message about only 118 days until need to pay to extend the coverage. AS 4 CONTACTING HOW? WHEN HUNG UP WHEN CALLING.

Just like previous versions since it was originally developed doesn't work anywhere like it's suppose to get a notification tap on it and all it does is take you right back to the devices main screen what was TMobile thinking partnering with McAfee not a smart decision by T-Mobile

Why does this security app need to make phone calls take and record video wipe my SD card modify my contacs or erase them connect to blue tooth and all the other permissions it doesn't show u , to check my phone for bugs. Wich it doesn't do like it says it do.... SERIOUSLY WHY DOES IT HAVE THESE PERMISSIONS THAT I CANT REMOVE SAYS IT CAN DO ANY OF THESE THINGS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION just curious

It recently quit working. I use it to clear cache etc. I try to open it and it does nothing. I was going to reinstall but it said I needed to UPDATE, so I did. No change ..app does nothing. Will not open. I went to settings and cleared the cache for McAfee but no change.Buggy app.

Unable to turn off real time scanning. The option in settings toggles but the app doesn't stop real time scanning. Also always has an annoying icon on the status bar and an app notification active for zero reason other than to say real time scanning is on.

I've been using this app for quite awhile (at least several months) and about a week ago, I noticed it was no longer allowing me to perform a scan. Now everytime I try to open the app, the screen flickers and "Thank you we are now registering your device" (or some similar wording) flashes repeatedly on the screen and the app doesn't open. When I can get the app to open, it is completely non- functional. I've uninstalled it and re-installed it, cleared my cache, rebooted my phone. Nothing works.

I constantly use the widget on all my devices to clear the cache & ram, however, the widget won't show up on the screen of my Surface Duo 2. It worked on the Surface Duo 1. I checked the settings against my Z Flip flip 3 that runs this program & all the settings are the same. There's no reason it shouldn't work. I was contacted by McAfee but my problem is still not solved. They seemed to think I didn't know what I was doing. I'm a techie. I set up devices all the time at the school where I work.

Here we go again with another outstandingly miserable 'effort' by T-Mobile to reach out with one hand~ stab you with the other and it NEVER FAILS to be. This wreck is virtually worthless. It's basic PROMO version confuses ITSELF. With this mess we say NO WAY to the typical 'bad habit' >PAY version-though it's doubtfully worse•!? That's it for the "good" any of us found- which was hard enough through regular crashes. Again, 2 big brand names giving big NOTHING results in "PROTECTING" you?!?

This app isn't working right. Can't select any settings and the page just flickers. I've tried clearing the data, cache and deleting the app and reinstalling it still not working.

It's been working GREAT SINCE DAY 1. App does Everything that it's supposed to do. For me. I can't speak for others but for me they have been GREAT about Everything really. Thank you T- mobile for giving me 5G service on a Mountain in a canyon. Your company is the only one that works. Verizon is or was supposed to be the best but my little brother has Verizon and he has S**t for service if he gets any at all. LMAO 🤣 🤣 🤣 KEEP UP THE GOOD SERVICE T-MOBILE 👍 AND THANK YOU 😊

App continues to close since most recent T-Mobile update. Used to work well. Running Android 12, One UI 4.1. Cleared the cache, it didn't help.

Gotta say. I'm very surprised and happy with the improvements.. I was not long ago very adamant about never using this brand of product because of old notions and experiences but I gave this new premium version a go and it's been A10 solid. Smooth, not spammy, gets into the grit of modern phone os problems and keeps it cleaned and functional. I'm glad I checked it out. 9/10 werfit

It keeps flashing my screen every time I sign on to my account with my email and I also have McAfee 360 with T-Mobile it is really annoying it worked before. Now just recently it's flashing repeatedly!! I even factory reset my phone uninstalled the application the reinstalled it still same stuff keeps happening over and over!!!

This app is ridiculously underwhelming and unneeded I've installed and uninstalled and reinstalled this app countless times it never works and doing scans I see APK files and unknown files files I've never seen before yet it still tells me that everything is perfect since when is having all kinds of malware bloatware spyware installed on my phone perfectly okay and not only that but T-Mobile seems to back them 100% so my identity and info gets stolen have had phone issues for mos nothing done!

In initially giving McAfee 5 stars, apparently I acted to quickly in doing the review!!!!!This McAfee app has PROVEN to be PROBLEMATIC!!!!! In the past few days I haven't been able to go into the protection portal. I am inputting the correct email address & password but the info is cleared at every attempt. It's bad enough that I have to go through this MESS because T-Mobile was hacked and now deal with this McAfee app!!!!!

The app keeps telling me, to try again later, then the app closes.. Has been this way, since I've gotten my phone 1 in a half years ago. Please fix your app/or help me fix this issue. I can't seem to resolve this issue at all. (Can't even use TMOBILE apps at all, yet my service sprint was merged with TMOBILE.)

I have received daily spoof emails about needing to resubscribe to McAfee for $24.99mo. Yesterday, 5/28/22, was my final warning. I have been hacked 33 times. I have more cousins than I ever thought possible. (sick) I always checked McAfees app to make sure these messages were not true Sure enough, there were no such warnings!

Pure garbage. The app take forever to open and the "widget" function doesn't even work. And yes, I set the required permissions. Pathetic.

Can't reset PIN or correct device info so i can't change setting or use the locate device function. Not really sure i need this since it continually disappoints as a software.

Evwrytime I try to open the app I get an error message...something went wrong, please try again later. What's the point of having a web security app if I can't even open it.

So far I cannot complain about this Mc After security. I run it and if it tells me I have an issue it fixes it as soon as I tell it to fix it. Great app

Works great! Easily found and removed all threats on my phone. Also, the app is very well laid out and definitely user friendly. Highly recommend for all of your phone protection needs!
