The scanner is hot garbage. Even in the middle of the day in a well lit area Ray Charles would be able to see in the scanner will register poor lightning. When you finally get lucky enough it registers good lightning the focal point is way to finicky with zero image stabilization. The last thing I want to deal with at the end of a day driving is spending 20 minutes trying to scan BOLs. This ruins an otherwise decent comms app. The developers should try out Adobe Scan and learn from it. Zero ⭐️

Absolutely the worst when trying to scan documents. Grab a cup of coffee and a pack of cigarettes because you're going to spend tons of time trying to get it to take the damn photo. See developer comment for confirmation they are requiring the most current android os because they can't figure out backward compatibility. As already stated, the worst.

Slows down your phone! Just more completely unneeded tracking software. Sadly, this app never stops tracking you. It'll slow down your phone and kill your battery. Hopefully Congress will pass a law soon banning these kind of apps.

Im not getting my messages my DM sends me. The loads show up onscreen but none of my associated emails with my load. But... i will get direct replies from messages i send.. what gives

Updated review- after a developer got with me they showed that going into storage on my device and resetting the app it fixes the problem. We use the app to track our loads and it does a pretty good job sending us location data.

They had a fine document scanner but then they decided to change it. (Hint: Don't fix what ain't broke.) The new scanner is supposed to autodetect the document. It detects everything around the document and gives the document a funhouse mirror effect. That is if it bothers to take the photo. About 60% of the time it says Poor Light. If it was in a professional photo studio with four lights shining on the page it would still say Poor Light.

I haven't spent this much time waiting for things to load since the '90s. Crashes a lot, very unstable. Constantly refreshes message screen everytime you go to it instead of in the background. Has to retrieve macro forms EVERY time you start a new one instead of saving them natively. Basically, it takes 2-3 times or more longer to do things then it should take, when it works.

Edit; No issues since last update. App runs great. Thank you. Edit; Issues are fewer & farther between. Tonight though, I couldnt click on my loads to scan paperwork, look at load board, or log out. I deleted & reinstalled app. Now I can't choose company or log in. Says "Unable to get data. Cached data unavailable." Previous; Having issues again this week. Won't recognize document type. May be permissions issue... I've deleted & reinstalled. Same thing. Almost every week, a new issue pops up...

This app is the biggest piece of garbage and the developer needs strung up. It always sends a minimum of two messages(same one). The pictures are low quality and you can never be sure of the direction it will be in. I just had all my hard work taking pictures of trup sheets, bol's, etc completely disappear. If my company didn't insist I use it, I'd Transflo everything in. Overall JUNK!!!

Used to be able to use a password manager just fine to login. Now it closes itself down if my password manager app tries to fill its login fields. Considering it won't stay logged in, has no way to set up fingerprint access or pin access, and likes to log me out just because I've switched temporarily to another app, this is very, very annoying. Edit: McLeod's response prompted me to get in touch with them, and they explained this was an unintentional side-effect of some aesthetic changes, and will work to fix that issue. Their prompt response and full explanation, as well as the humanness of the support given, prompted me to raise the existing review from 1 star to 2 stars. I look forward to this getting fixed, and while I don't think it would rate 5 stars even with this fixed as there are a number of clunky aspects within the app, I definitely would feel generally better about the app. However, right now, this is the critical issue to me, as other clunky aspects DO in fact work, albeit slowly and clunkily.

Samsung S8 Active - notifications do not come through the phone. All permissions are allowed and notifications on from the phone side. The communications messages do not come through unless I actively open and check the Communications page in the app. I have missed at least a hundred company messages in the past year because of this flaw. I have missed out on loads because of this issue.

Absolutely not user friendly app. I'm truck driver. My company use this app so I should too. Very inconvenient app. This is some problem it has: 1. Login. Crashes all the time. 2. Messenger is Extremely inconvenient. Why user can not copy/past information from one message to other. We use lots of numbers and addresses and I need to type it all the time when I respond to dispatch. Also you can not send message to specific user.

Every update seems to leave this app more picky, more automatic, and decidedly less usable. I've had to give up on taking pictures within McLeod, but now it refuses to use images taken outside it, citing poor quality. Ironically, the pictures McLeod takes are worse. [edit 4/29/21] Shame I can't go below 1 star. Latest update has broken it completely. Now it gives me a 403 error and can't connect to company server.

I would give this app a higher review if it enabled you to have multiple document types sent only 1 time. The way it is set up now you have to send each document type separately. Totally time consuming and inefficient. UPDATE: McCloud updated their app so you can now scan multiple document types and send all at once- much more convenient.

Yall have recently changed the app permission requirements on the location to tracking even when the app is not in use and you can't open read your load info without it being on. That's completely unacceptable. My fix for this is only turning it on when I need to see my information. My privacy does not to need to be sacrificed for load tracking purposes. I suggest anyone that when not using the app to turn off its location function completely.

This is the worst app I have used yet for scanning paperwork and receiving loads. Not only is there no adjustment to make the print darker so that it can scan lighter printed paperwork , about every week I have to uninstall and reinstall the app because it refuses to work properly. I do not recommend this app to anyone. Samsung S21 Ultra

Work life Balance is enabled through technology- that enabkes you to do anything at the touch of a button! The Name speaks for itself! I Love working in office but appreciate that I can log in and perform my job from anywhere !

Was my most used app. Since the update on the 19th, it is not allowing me to log in. Didn't FIX a bug, create more.

Photo taking software is a TOTAL FAIL. I am required to use this app in my job. Not only can it not capture a photo of my bills, it cannot even properly transfer a good image from my phone's gallery without random cropping making it useless. Why was this app launched before getting it right? Drivers do not have time to waste like this.

Use to be good, now I can't scan in bills without them becoming shrunk so the app can fit the background into the file, even when the green border matches the page very well. If I port over a good picture by using CamScanner first, it cuts out 40%-60% of the document so it's unusable. Why does your app work good on a s7 but is trash on a s20?

Requires too many permission. Doesn't function well. Not intuitive. Flips between landscape and portrait layout depending on which page you are on. Security is questionable. How is this an industry standard piece of software?

Was working ok then boom-out of nowhere it won't open. Little circle spins forever, logout button looks like it's being pushed in, no movement details, but yet you go to settings, it shows user name and company code. Tried restarting phone, reinstalling app 20 times...nothing works. Using a Android Note 10+

It just can't take pictures of the bol as accurately or quickly as before. It takes forever to get the manager to turn the highlighter green. Then it shuts down the whole process and i have to do it over. Waste of time.

Doesn't work right on android phones not at all impressed with this app. I don't get notifications for loads or messages. Plus can't send documents. Plus in my opinion very time consuming app not very quick and efficient.

What a stupid update! If I look at the app and then go to another like gps, without logging out of McLeod and then start driving, the you appear to be driving screen covers up my gps and won't go away. I have to disable the darn thing so that I can see where I'm going! I understand trying to promote safety, but this app shouldn't encroach on other apps I might be running! Update, that issue is fixed and the camera works better T hanks

This app worked pretty good for my last employer, but now that I'm going to work for someone else that uses this app, it won't allow me to change the info to the new employer. Even after uninstalling/reinstalling and cleaning out my phone several times, my old employer's screen pops up every time I open the app, and I can see no option to change that.

Awful app. my phone cannot take pictures right now. so i bought an all in one printer to scan trips into my phone. it scans them as a PDF file. trying to upload trip into app and it will not upload. it instead shuts the app down. worthless and my company pays money for this program to have their trips sent in. i wouldnt pay a freaking penny. if youre trying to have a tech app to help truckers at least create the app to be all encompassing. downloading or uploading PDF files shouldnt be an issue.

I been trying and trying to use this app but it just dose not work pictures come through fuzzy/blurry no matter what I do. It slows my phone and makes it over heat. Tried it on a different device and it's doing the same thing. This app might help me not have a job anymore and it sucks :( I just wish I can take a clean picture and send it that's it. Vary upsetting. Why dose this app over heat the device? Why dose it slow it down? Why need all the permissions when I'm only taking a picture?

Not very good all the way across the board. Load info is jotty. Doesn't upload images well. A scanner and email do much better and way more efficient. Got a long ways to go before it can even compete.

New take image sucks ass. If lights not perfect it sucks. Took image with camera and flash is perfect. But app says low light and will not import. Dont have 10 min to take 2 images. Fix or were all going back to transflow.
