DO NOT DOWNLOAD! IT NEVER UPDATES!!!! 😡😤 I've had the app for 3 months now. And it never had an update for it but kept saying, the happy meal scanner was Updating. For 3 freaking months. But I gave it more time. So I just updated the app because it finally had one and thought that might fix the scanner for happy meals. But NO! It still says App Updating where you're supposed to scan the Happy Meal Box. And the games barely work. Horrible app. I wouldn't download it.

love this app but I do have a few complaints, what happened to the happy meal character that bounces the ball and all that, where's the engineering games?, And the music game that is advertised in the pictures of the game 😕 also, when I want to scan my happy meal box it doesn't let me 😕☹️ - lily💙

From what I can tell after navigating this app, all it gives you an option to do is take silly photos. There's no games or any other options in the app. The camera icon is the only one that works. Kinda creepy. I let my child download an app that allowed him to take photos of himself and we can't view or use them in any way after they're taken because there's no option for that or anything else except to take photos. Are the photos being stored?! Very confusing and strange. Deleting this app.

The apps navigation is horrid. The happy meal toys my kids have gotten in the last month or so don't even apply despite having this apps info to download for more content.

App is trash!! Doesnt even let you click on the ron application. It just shoots you right back to read a digital book. If my child wanted to read a digital book she would click on it. Total waste if space. Very dissapointing. If you want to try and have a app that kids can interact with at least make sure they are able to before advertising it.

App works great..... except the Ron's gone wrong part. Which is the whole reason we downloaded the app on my son's tablet. Tap on it & it just stays on the loading screen. BUT, when I try it on my phone it works just fine. Weird, my son's tablet is brand new (as of a few months ago). My phone is 4 years old. You would think if it was going to work on one and not the other that it would be the newer device that it works on. So disappointing.

Scan To Play doesn't actually do anything! It will tell you over & over again to "move closer to the icon" or "scan icon from above" even if it's matched up perfectly! I'm a 30 yo woman and I tried the scan to play for at least 10 minutes and couldn't get it to work, not sure how they expect a child to do so!

Just watched Ron's Gone Wrong and rediscovered the happy meal toy only to find out the feature is turned off and not accessible from the app anymore. Disappointing and delete.

Please give me the Ron's gone wrong content!!!! My kid has not stopped asking and it's been months since you took it down I tried to download older version of the app I've tried making it myself . Please for the all things holy give it back.

Annoying! Does not open properly. It took forever to download. When it finally did, it took me to the settings to start the game. Then it turned on the read aloud option. It's speaking everything I touch. Won't take me back to the settings. I want to scan my son's toys/happy meal box and it just keeps repeating the page title to me. If it doesn't work soon, I'm deleting it.

Doesn't work. When it first opens, you are only allowed to make two selections from the setup menu and then it freezes. I closed it and opened again and it went to what might be an initial gameplay screen, however it just keeps saying the words "be an artist" and it won't allow any input to any other part of the app.

This app is stupid. There is something on the happy meal box that says "Scan your toy" I tried it and it didn't work. Please fix this app😡

This app is 100% trash. UI design is incomprehensibly bad, and the only reason I downloaded it - to get the game that's supposed to be for the toy - is completely broken. It sits on a loading screen forever and never finishes. And that was after I had to fight with it to stop trying to scan the Happy Meal box, which never even worked correctly anyway. Hire some real app developers instead of whatever cut rate shop made this. And stop deleting my review.

Horrible. I downloaded it so my daughter could try the digital toy in her happy meal, and it won't accept anything. I selected "turn audio off", but the annoying low tech voice talks over and over no matter what. It doesn't register the doublt tap, 1 rap, or swipe to select activities. And when it does the voice glitches and talks over and over. I couldn't even get the to the activity for the toy. I tried to read a book, it wouldn't select. Theres also a Green Square won't go away.

Why is text to speech enabled always as soon as you open the app? With no way to turn it off? Or scroll to the accessibility menu. If I turn it on then off on my phone with the app open, it doesn't register that on the app. Highly disappointed and won't be giving it another chance. Y'all should just stick to your dollar tree quality toys and leave the electronics to burger king

I tried this app when it first came out and it was messed up then. My phone became so glitchy while it was installed. It would freeze or even completely lock up the phone, and thankfully I had a removable battery back then.

Most parts of app didnt work. Story book closes app after characters jump into book. DISNEY & Happy's face function/dotted outline did nothing. Very disappointing how short a time the Rons Gone Wrong was supported. Happy's costume changes and the Disney games were pretty fun but I'm unistalling this since more than half the app didnt work. You get 2 stars because it looks very good. It wasnt super intuitive but not awful (except maybe if something "broken" was actually poor gui?)

Terrible app.... Gets your child excited for nothing. Does not function just keeps repeating read a digital book... Cannot open a book or go back to try and select a different function. Restart app it then prompts you to scan happy meal box it then it will not scan... Should have been straight forward and easy to use app... It's definitely a waste of time. Try again McDonald's but someone should trouble shoot your next try before launching.... Would have been easy to fix...

We loved the app last month when we first downloaded. My 2 yr olds most favorite feature, "the Happy meal guy" had been taken off recently and now I have to explain to him that he "went home now" or "had to go to work" 😭 I really wish you guys didn't take him off. He loved playing with him.

What the actual holy heck were the UI designers smoking? This app is the online equivalent of being lost in a shopping mall in a foreign country where nothing makes any sense. The "is it OK to use your mobile data?" button doesn't indicate whether it is in or off, and doesnt add any further information if you toggle it. Which way is on and which is off? You'll never know, and that's by design. Very cool. Very ethical.

I downloaded it so my daughter could scan her Happy Meal toy and she loves it! The theme changes to coincide with whatever Happy Meal toys are currently available in the restaurant. She's really good at the games in the app. I tried some, and couldn't do as well. I guess it's because I don't have the reflexes of a 6-year-old anymore. Of all the game apps I've downloaded for her, this is the one she asks for most. It keeps her occupied well.

I think you have to scan the happy meal box instead of the toy. I personally love the paint brush game. The one from scanning the toy really had nothing to with it (they have Pokemon toys and the game could have been for anything). It would be nice if the game promoted the series of toys more. I haven't tried out everything yet and i probably won't, but it seems great for kids.

This game is beyond frustrating, not because its hard to use quite the opposite. Its super simple the frustrating part is, the books do read aloud unless you turn on the screen reader accessibility but that won't let you advance in the app for some unknown reason. That's what is frustrating.

Awful. I was so excited to scan a toy I got from a happy meal but theres no scan toy option and it makes me upset. I think I remember this app was much better and now its garbage. The voice is annoying and weird. It freezes somtimes and I have to close the app and get back into the app and it's a waste of installing.

Weird?? Glitchy. Honestly really underwhelming. I can't believe a multi-billion dollar company could produce such a terribly operating app. Uses a weird standard voice for directions like siri. You can literally see green and red boxes over "buttons" as in it really doesn't seem coded properly. I wouldn't be surprised if there is something sinister behind the app accessing cameras and mic. You smash the button several times to get it to actually select. Parents beware.

Ok I'm leaving this review specifically for all the frustrated parents (like I was a few minutes ago)! Ok so if your app won't work and it has that annoying voice and keeps going to "read a digital book" and won't let you push anything. Delete the app and re-download but this time when it asks you for permission for the whole list of stuff, don't approve any of them! Just hit continue without swiping on any. It will work then! Idk why they added that but now mine works fine! Kids love it

My 5 year old usually loves this app, but its started acting up all of the sudden, when it's opened it repeatedly says "be an artist" and a green box pops up around the middle of the screen. It just stays on the menu, frozen, saying that phrase.

I just keep getting stuck at the top in the beginning it just keep saying you have entered the Happy Meal app screen reader mode I keep trying to hit okay it won't work scheme is trash it doesn't make any sense I've just tried to go on this app just to do the Ron's gone wrong game but it didn't work and I'm really angry. shame on you McDonalds.

Awful!!! Can I give this app zero stars? It's glitchy, none of the functions work, uses a monotone robotic voice for every prompt, and every single time you just try to "scan the smile" it locks up your phone. Absolute garbage app. Mcdonalds stick to food, its what you're good at.
