The Maryland WIC Mobile App will give WIC participants the opportunity to view upcoming appointments, view food benefits that have been issued to them in the clinic, scan UPCs while shopping at the store to see if the UPC is a WIC Approved item or not, and provide information on locations of WIC Stores and WIC Clinics across the State of Maryland.
The goal of the Maryland WIC Mobile App is to give participants all the information they need at their fingertips to make their shopping experience fun and easy.
To register to use the Maryland WIC Mobile App, you must be a WIC participant and have been issued an eWIC card.

This app is like WIC: basically functional, a pain in the butt, and can we please get some 2% milk around here? It's slow to start and to respond to user input, but works eventually. It has a barcode scanner to tell whether a food is WIC-approved, but it only works if you're on WiFi, which most grocery stores don't offer, or on data, which I can't afford for the same reason I'm on WIC in the first place. If there were an option to download the list of OK foods for offline use it would be great.
would probably be an amazing app of i could actually use it. can't even get past the "register" part. Keep getting an error message that a problem had occurred. Then, an option to either cancel registration or "retry" , and again the same happens every time.
I have NOT been able to use the barcode/UPC scanner AT ALL since the update this summer. Not all stores post the WIC label on the shelves and new things become available and old things that you used to be able to get are no longer valid. It would be nice to be able to check yourself vs. having to go back and forth at the cash register which is especially ANNOYING with a toddler and while heavily pregnant.
Its 1 star for now since app won't open any more. It worked fine before whatever update they did. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and it still won't open. UPDATE: 7/2/21 app still won't open! Fixing this would be helpful! UPDATE: 7/13/21 Now app won't finish installing.
If you are new to WIC then you would not understand how significant this app is! No more paper checks, no more swearing the cashier down that its wic approved and you can even track your appointment. I love that you can scan the item and it tells you if its approved, if you have them and how much is left. Great !
It won't let me log in. I can put in my email but the screen is bunched up so I can't enter my password. It worked on my other phone but now the app is messed up. I even tried deleting the app and reinstalled it and still the same thing.
Great app. Everything you need . Shows your benefits not only for the ucuring month . You can scan the items to make sure its approved by wic . Shows you the items list of the brands the approve also. Just makes it all easy for you.
The Facebook login just goes to "webpage unavailable ", since that's the only login I have, I can't even use the app anymore. This has been an issue for months. You'd think someone would have fixed this by now. Update: I have updated the app as directed and it still doesn't work
I like the app. Its very helpful but ever since the update i cannot log into my account at all. The email and password boxes are down on top of the upc scan area and it wont let me open anything.
The app is always stopping and having issues. I can barely use at times. It would be great without all the issues.
After last update, unable to open. This app had been very helpful until the last update. As soon as I open the app now, it crashes. Please fix!!!
When I try to register, I am asked to give my date of birth. Once I select from the calendar, before it gets populated in the form, the app is closing. This is happening in all the three phones I have.
Everything was okay until last month! Now the app won't even open keep crashing .... this app really sucks I got a new phone and try to login and it won't let me why? Who knows and all of the information is correct so now I can't even use the app
I have no access at all to get t Into the app. But I was able to register online 😢 I heard great things about this app I really wanted it to work please update and fix the bugs.
My app wasn't working....I deleted it and downloaded it again now its working....I guess it was a new update cause it wouldn't open or nothing...Just did it a few mins ago...For everyone who app isn't working try that it might help!!
Use to be great but will no oonger load. Showsnopen screen and immediately crashes. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would work but nope. Still dont work 😔
The old app worked. This new updated version won't even open. Updating on 2/12/21 app still won't open. It's been 60+ days.
This is amazing I can just scan certain cheese or milk etc. And it tells me if it's the right one plus I never have to carry the folder bc it tells me all my benefits on here.
I downloaded this app 3 days ago. I have been trying to get in to see the benefits that our family has for the past 48 hours but the app is unable to log me in. This application is in need of some serious work.
Can't use the app since recent upgrade. Login screen is messed up, can't enter password.

I can't even login! The "login" button is so far down the page and right over top of the map button, that logging in is impossible
I uninstalled it because it wouldn't open for me now I'm trying to put it back on my phone and it won't even download....it was great while it lasted I guess.....
wont even let me register, please change the birthdate option to entering in the birthdate instead of a calendar that you have to scroll through. shame this app cant be used
The old app was good, it can be open easily but the new one can't open. I don't even know the problem.
Unable to enter password. It's covered by the clinic tab, and the resources tab.
It would be great if you could access your card through the app. Something scannable like Sam's Scan and Go
this app is supposed to be easy to use but I cant even log into my Wic account to check my benefits. the app doesn't even open anymore.
Personally, I haven't had any problems with this app at all! It's been a huge time saver & works great! I love that i can login without having to type my info and password in everytime! My favorite is the barcode scanner; it's amazing! I'm able to tell if the item is WIC approved when I'm checking to see what benefits I have left! Also, it shows the benefits I'll be getting the next month & it sends push notifications for any upcoming appointments! Overall, it's a wonderful app! Just get it!
