App doesn't work correctly. Just installed the app, when I start the app I see three slides, when I swipe to the last slide there's a sign in screen. After entering user ID and password I get a white screen, with only Zoom controls showing. At one point I was able to zoom out and scroll to the top, where I saw a message like: "SOAPEN:CLIENTINVALIDREQ". I closed the app and tried again, same. I have Samsung Galaxy S10+ w/ Android 10 on Sprint/T-Mobile.
Unable to use this app! I have a new Pixel 4 with latest software updates. I set up the phone as new from factory settings, downloaded this app from the google Play Store, and when opening the app it immediately crashes. I have tried uninstalling it completely from the phone and reinstalling it fresh but get the same results. I would really appreciate if a developer could look into this issue, as many others are also reporting the same problem. I will update this review if a fix is introduced.
Terrible. Sometimes when I sign on I get no menu options, just states my name and profile but I can't do any functions. Other times I get a menu, eg nutrition ,but it will not download meal plans.(I have no problem with downloading other documents). Also could not open exercises. Then whole program froze, said mdvip is not responding and closed. This app is very frustrating to try to use and is inconsistent in performance!
This app is useless and it should be better considering how much $ it costs! I keep trying to just log in so I can see if I can pay w/o finding a computer (since I don't get updates about that stuff until I get a letter in the mail) and I keep getting a notice to update the app. I can't find an update thats needed so I un-installed then re-installed. No luck. It would be great to have a UI/UX team work on making this a better app.
This app was okay but clunky with a terrible text messaging box before a recent update. Now it stopped working completely on Samsung S8. I try to login and get a blank screen and later a tiny timeout error. There's no tech support contact on the website. I'd dump this if I didn't like my doctor so much. Surely by now they should have a mature patient interaction application. As of 01/19/21 still not working on my phone, even after reinstalling. Same error: soapenv:ClientInvalid Request. Help!
Doesn't work... I used the app to connect with my physician plenty of times, but the newest version either makes me log in over and over or freezes on a blank screen. This complaint has been logged several times before in the comments, but even after a few months....still hasn't been fixed.
Horrible. This app doesn't even come up when I open it. Had to reset, Uninstall and install to get to the login screen only for it to freeze when attempting to login. Please fix this. Update: Tried to log in after resetting my password. Now the app says I'm missing information, goes to a black screen and doesn't allow me to login. Absolute and utter garbage!!!
Consistent problems over past 2 years especially just trying to open, latest today.... received 6 emails saying I have a secure message from my doc; go to open app to get messages, App prompts you that you can't open with a button that says you must update to latest version, click on the button and redirects to Google Play Store with MDVIP app...but no update available! Only uninstall or open buttons available, so it's a viscious cycle. Agree w/ previous comments on messaging windows in app too.
For the amount of money paid to be a member, you'd think the app would actually work. Received 12 emails saying I had secure messages, go to the app. Open app for it to say "You must upgrade to the latest version of app". Go to appstore and zero option of upgrading, so I uninstall and re-install just to be sure and then open the app only to be taken to the same message about upgrading. Looking at a few other reviews, this has been happening since December, so a few months and still no update...
Asked to take survey. All I can get is a prompt to install the " new version" and am directed straight to Google Store then nothing. Tried unistall and install. Same issue. This has happened many times over the past several weeks. I have had better results just by Googling MDVIP. Pretty lame app considering how much the membership costs.
Doesn't work. Just tells me to get the latest app, sends me here, I click open, go back to get the latest app. Over and over. And I can't put my provider into the contact section on the online site, so I can't send her a message at all. So glad to be paying nearly $2k a year for such great "service"
This app usually doesn't even open on my phone. If I ever am able to log in, I can't do much -- the message function is difficult to type directly into and I don't get push notifications for responses; I can't pay bills via the app; the contact information is difficult to access.
I just installed the app and it won't open. I get a screen flash of the logo and then it disappears. On each second attempt, I get an error message that says "Members Keeps Closing". I'm using Android 10 on Pixel 2.
UPDATED REVIEW: Seems that the bug update works and I have moved my review up to 5 stars. Thanks for paying attention to our needs Developers! PREVIOUS REVIEW: Downloaded and uninstalled the app five times. All I get is an orange screen and then the app closes. Trying to download onto a Google Pixel 4 but also could not get it to work on my previous Google 3.
Complete Garbage app. Cannot even do Signin via wireless connection - it finally works on cellular only. This is ridiculous since I see in reviews that you have known about this since Aug 2020. The EXACT same credentials work fine via wireless in multiple browsers on this Pixel 3. This app worked poorly for prior versions. I can't get my 2020 Wellness records, but 2019 is there. My wife can't see her 2020 records on iPhone. Shameful, since MDVIP is an expensive service to begin with. Fix it!!!!
The phone app does not connect to home screen. It appears to not work at all. You can use your browser to get on line with them. The convenience of the phone app does not appear to be working.
Unable to access any info for days. Terrible website **after entering ID and password, which was accepted, click on sign in and goes immediately to a white screen that says ....client invalid at the very top of screen. I have reinstalled app and same thing. I am using the member app Thanks
This app is clunky and inelegant. It frequently fails to login and just gives you a white screen. But, if your doc uses the mdvip messaging, you're pretty much stuck with it.
It just flat out doesn't work.. log in and goes right to a blank screen. Tried wifi/cellular. If you use MDVip to help reduce stress don't think about using this app.
I have used this site in its variations, but now it is ridiculous! I click on the link and am warned that I need the updated version...but it is just a loop.
App is disabled after requiring an update. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app it does not work.
I don't feel like a VIP when I use this app that doesn't work! It tells me that I need the updated version but no option to update is available. This has been going on for months.
App told me to get the new version. Ok but my choice eas open or uninstall? What? Needless to say it won't update and i can't get in via the old version. Please fix this.
App freezes when logging in all the time and all you get is a white screen. This is suppose to be a useful tool in contacting and getting reports from your doctor?!! I'm pretty sure for the money we pay to be apart of MDVIP you could do better with the app.
Does not work properly. You'd think as much as you pay yearly you would have access to update payments without a problem.
Like I've said since joining in 2020... this app has never worked. I can't believe I am paying for such terrible service. If Dr Oberlies wasn't so good I'd move on to a real Concierge Group. I was willing to give them a chance but no fix in over 2 years is really lazy even for MDVIP! What's the point if you can't communicate with your own doctor... really a terrible company.
This app will not load. I get to sign in, but then just buffers for a long time and sends me back to sign on screen. This issue needs fixed fast.
Received a message to upgrade the app. Deleted and installed the available version from Google Play. Can't open the app, it needs to be upgraded. Is this what I'm paying for....???

A very low quality app considering the money we pay for MDVIP. Currently broken. Forced me to login again, but then gives me a blank white screen after entering user/pass. When it did work, trying to type a message to my doctor is frustrating. If the keyboard isn't covering the text box, then the text is scrolling off the screen so you can't see what you typed without scrolling the cursor back periodically. Oh, and it defaults to all lowercase letters when starting sentences. Minor nitpicks but I've never seen another Android app do this. Pixel 3, btw, so I'm not on an old version of Android.
