ME Translator

Using Samsung galaxy A11. Ordered for my mother who is old. She could configure it and waited for me to visit her in Jerusalem. Needs to pair each time that it connects. Does not find device. Need to try many times. Does not retain the selected language. Only translated one sentence and did not do translate a second time. Useless. I don't believe I can return it because it is now 2 months. Don't buy

Finally got it to work using a Samsung Galaxy A tablet. Problem still is buttons overlap. Must be very nimble fingered to use a small screen. Whatever is used as the support device must accompany the Ends device. Lack of across the board device compatibility is a Big problem here.

Worked the first week, now stopped. The app stops immediately, every time I start it. When it briefly worked, it mostly misunderstood my English and on the top of it the voice coming out of it had a horrid 🐴 tone. Conclusion: wasted $90. I just made China richer.

Do not buy this product, it does not work as advertised. The bluetooth doesnt stay connected. You have to constantly restart your phone and app, it doesnt understand basic sentences, it garbage and doesnt even work through your phone, let alone the $75 device

This app does not work at all. Dont waste your time. Everytime i try to download the app, the app stop working . Do not buy this product, is not what they say tha miraculously work as perfect. Dont waste your money, I bought 2 of then, none of them work, because the app does not work.

Dreadful, a total waste of time and money. When I eventually got paired to the translator device I constantly got messages that were gobbledegook. Very disappointing.

This device would be better with voice recognition software. I do not like having to repeat myself multiple times, in order to convey a message accurately. I speak with good enunciation; and in a relatively concise manner. Perhaps my tone trows off the software? Needs a little work... I might just opt for the more expensive device; being that I wanted this software for interacting with and training associates who speak languages other than Spanish and English.

As per a lot of others, I only get "can't hear" response every time I try to say something into either my phone or the device while following instructions. Did also have difficulty getting set up but finally got that sorted. I don't recommend buying this device, just use Google Translate. Unfortunately, like most others, I wouldn't have known to search reviews on this app when purchasing the device.

Very frustrating so far. The device arrivedafter much longer than expected. The app will only install with wifi. All my other apps will work with my mobile network. I ve used it twice, and after each use i have tio reinstall the app . It goes blank after switching off the translator and won't come back. Perhaps there is a trick to it! Still trying, but have printed out the " return policy . I suspect it might prove useless Keeps needing its app reinstalled and poor translation so far.

This product really works well just remember to enunciate and talk slowly. Has a few bugs but I'm sure they are on making it better and adding in new languages. I would recommend that they allow you to choose three or four languages so you can use this without using data or wifi. This would improve its capabilities for when you are away from the modern world.

After contacting the manufacturer and getting a response, the device and app still don't work. I have asked for more help. Still haven't received a manual. This is sad. After another email round with customer service I was supplied with manual showing how to connect to app. No trouble shooting help. Device continues to disconnect and turn off and fails to translate more than 90% of the time. Save your money. You have to pay to return it.

Another piece that gives the feeling it works in no time- but contrary it took me several hours to install it on both a iPhone 5 and Blackview. I failed to find the Norwegian language and that is one that I want and purchased but it is not available- so that is a big disappiontment. Contacted tech support but without success. Bluetooth is another problem unless one finds the "trick". All in all most credit goes to Google and their translator. They actually have done the hard work and that is great- Muama has done nothing big but addred a bluetooth connection of an external audio speaker and microphone. So my full six points go to Google and their language translation programs.

This device is a total scam, it worked the first time I used it but it kept texting "I can't Hear". Once in a while it gave a translation but it was though the phone speaker and almost inaudible. Now the app won't connect with my phone even when my phone says it is connected. This device has to be paired with a phone. The Facebook adds give the Impression that it is stand alone. This is fraud .

The translator connects to the app, gives me one translation and then disconnects. The support is ignoring me. Can't use the translator

Not good for me, the device didn't work and they wanted me to pay for postage to Lithonia! So they could look at it and decide to give me a refund! Not! I wasn't born yesterday! Got my refund anyway but not from them!🤔🤨💯💯💯

Very spotty - poor recognition of spoken English or spoken Finnish. Too many mistakes to make this a functional translator. Also, it is necessary to have a constant bluetoorh connetion with the Android phone and the phone screen must be active (not shown in advertising) . If phone screen goes black while waiting for a reply during your translated conversation it is the necessary to wait for the Bluetooth reconnection - a very irritating exercise. This "translator" is NOT worth the frustration!

I followed all the instructions I got the hook up to my phone as you can tell and hooked up fine because otherwise I wouldn't be able to write this the problem is it will not hook up to the device I've tried over and over and over again and I am so frustrated I'm about to send it back to the factory

Exceedingly disappointed. App keeps closing and support was non-responsive. Said they opened a ticket and I would receive an email, but that email never arrived.

Awful. This is useless and a waist of money. It requires you to have your phone and it takes repeated attempts for it to correctly understand your words. Waste of $79

I followed their directions for my Android phone to the letter. The translator device will link with the V5 version of the app but my phone's blue tooth will only recognize the V5-BLE version and they NEVER talk to each other. I tried it on my son's phone with the same results. I am so pissed off that I am considering a lawsuit. I've contacted the company 6 times. They replied twice. Both times they told me essentially what the instructions say. They were no help at all.

Really like this little thing! If I can figure it out anyone can! Am 78 and forced to learn more about tech due to self quarantine. Wish that the little flat circle was easier to read, have to hold it up to the light to see the volume, etc. sometimes but only problem so far. Learning German at 78 is interesting! Thank you

it's not working as indicated, the app open and close, lot of work. it not good bad investment Google app way better and free.

It's just my first day but the translator doesnt work the way I thought, you cant use the app without pairing with translator but I do love that while pairing I can have my bluetooth attached so I can learn quietly using the keypad so I wont bother those around me, also when i use speaker in language of choice , i love that it confirms i am speaking correctly 😁. I feel like I will pick up quicker this way and I am very excited

Waste of Money, writing this to warn others who check the app before buying the device. It does not download any language files. in order to use this you need the device "really Bluetooth mic and speaker only", your phone out and the app open and connected to the internet. if you need to have the internet and phone google will translate for you. Its not even really good as a mic to give the other person as the Bluetooth keeps disconnecting.

Doesn't work. Emenence is on, pairs via BT to phone, phone app permissions on, BT works, wifi and mobile network confirmed, unit says Emenence connected, blue light on, but app hangs on "Searching for devices" and goes no further. If I need a smartphone with network or wifi access to use this “instant translator“ what is the POINT of this little silver device ? I can't even thread the harness connection thru the non-beveled holes. Cheap and useless.

Does not work as advertised. Appeared to pair ok with bluetooth. Changed languages OK, but would not work. Only came back with "Can't hear" every time I tried. Uninstalled and Reinstalled several times, nothing changed. Useless piece of equipment. Maybe app needs tweaking by OEM.

Great App!!!! I downloaded the app, turned on my Enence device and was able to instantly translate to any available language. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Are people trying to use the app without owning the device? Please consider giving an * symbol on the screen for the languages that are "no audio available". Then the speaker knows to have the listener read the screen.

I found this a little difficult to get up and running, the Bluetooth name needs to be more descriptive than V5, why do you charge for downloading the manual.? , the device is expensive enough and the manual needs to be free and in the box. It has trouble understanding my accent, will this improve.? I shall re-evaluate stars after your replies.

Translator requires an app..any other translation app will do the same thing without purchasing any equipment..

This device is great. Some problem with volume, at first, while translating. Emailed the company. They emailed me back with instructions. When I gave permissions, in the app, for the phone and under settings, increased the media volume, it corrected the low volume issue. The company is great and the device is awesome.
