It would be great but for the fact that the interface covers the menu, and there is no way to move it. Since I can't see half the menu, there's no point to the app when I just have to go to the website anyway to see what items the interface covers up.
We loved this app last year for our children in school. They have different dietary sensitivities and this helped out tremendously. It was great to know ahead of time what was being serviced school for the day. But this school year I had to uninstall it and reinstall it several times and it still will not completely load on my phone I'm not sure what's wrong I hope they fix it though😊
Won't create a profile, won't open the school when i search for it. No errors, just infinitely spinning circles. This app is hot garbage. I guess I'll stick with the poorly designed webpage.
Unable to get in to app now. My son is now in third grade and I have been using this app since kindergarten. Now that he is back to school I tried to goml into the app and it was flashes and blinks. I cleared the app cache, cleared the phone cache, memory and junk, restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still the same thing. I suspect the makers of this app don't care because most kids are not going to school now and I see now other people posted this same issue months ago
Unbelievably difficult to use. It was simple to set up ar firs, but now the glitches have not allowed me to view menu. App also keeps closing on me when trying to view menu.
The bottom popup/banner prevents the last couple of lines from being viewed. Fix that and I'll update the rating. Besides that all seems to be fine with the app.
3.2019... Android App just keep glitching and is not functional. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and same issue... for weeks and probably longer as I had not checked it in months til recently. *update 8.29.19... same problem even after getting a new phone, uninstalling, etc.
First, the fact I need an app instead of printing a lunch calendar is ridiculous. Second, I accidentally selected the wrong school for my kids (thanks to the terrible UI) and I can't delete it. Now I have to toggle between schools to figure out what my kids lunch is... every day. I'm deleting this and hoping my kids like whatever is being served that day, because I don't have time for this insanity.
Just installed to use for my kids school lunches. And it doesn't work at all! Just sits there with a flashing screen that displays nothing on it. Not very helpful when it's the only way to know what our kids will be having to eat that day at school! Please fix the issue!!
When creating a new account, it says "email already exists". But when I try to log in it says "email address not found". I tried setting up with another email address and it said that one already exists also. The email sing in system appears to have a major issue.
It worked great for the 2018-2019 school year but has suddenly quit working 1/2 way through this year. There is no update so no way to fix the glitch and now I have no idea what my kid is eating for lunch.
There's no monthly calendar view or print feature. With kids at more than 1 school it takes more time to open this app and toggle between schools and breakfast/lunch menus vs. a paper calendar.
A pain to view whats on the menu for the day. A printed sheet for the month is much easier from the desktop site.
I've always loved this app for my kids for school but the past 2 days it's been glitchy and going crazy and it won't show me anything. Just keeps shaking and not loading. Please help
This app is great. I would like to point out to negative reviewers, if your child's school is not on the app, it is because their district does not pay for the license. If the food being served that is shown on the app is incorrect, that is because the school did not update it, it is not a flaw of the app. This app does all it is supposed to do and does it well!
Most of the time there is nothing displayed for the current week. You can go to the previous week and see the meal choices but then, almost immediately, you are kicked out of the app.
Loved Nutrislice. Not sure why school district got rid of it but this won't even let me login. Then when I try to skip login, it crashes the app.
It saves "favorites" across schools/kids. Shocking, I know, but my kids don't have the same preferences in school lunch choices
Worked great for the 2018-2019 school year but when school started back in 2019 it would keep glitching and showing a blank screen with a wait symbol. So disappointed
The app doesn't update the food. Everyday for the passed couple of months, for lunch it says turkey sub when it isn't. Please fix
Not Accurate... We check daily for our daughter to decide if she wants home or school lunch but she comes home and constantly tells us they offered something different. Huge disappointment.
Loved the app but now it has stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice. So disappointed.
Unable to get past the birthday entry page. I would rather just use the MV website that's on our school page. That does work perfectly ☺️
This app is not working not showing any of the meals
App used to work great. Now it won't load. Says "app failed to launch". Has been this way for a couple weeks now.
Showing the pictures of the food would help parents show their younger children what they are having if they don't understand what you are telling them. Pictures are sometimes better for children.
Its great to know what the school is feeding my children. Only gripe;, there be more healthy foods on the menue.
No month view, can't see entire menu, app closes if I try to look more than 2 days in advance
I had been using this application for 2 years....but this school year it been glitching. Please fix it.
New update doesnt show daily meals. What's the point of showing cost, ala carte, all this extra new info that most parents don't care about. I use the app to see the meals on a daily basis and that's it. With the update it just blank. Also when you try to give feedback on the site. Theres no submit button. Again so kinda pointless to give feedback if theres no way to get it to you.
